Everything was ok until after the fire. I was not able to access it without an attendant. My storage was moved to a smaller until so therefore I wasn't able to find my things at all . All of my things weren't able to fit in there so, I had a pod that was sent all the way to Louisiana. I believe the storage should've been free after the fire. I received about 3 months free.I had to move some of my things to a friends house because of the climate because without electricity there was no climate control. UHaul allowed me to book a unit at the 7910 Eastex location online. When I arrived at the location, this address was temporarily closed due to a recent fire. I feel like UHaul.com should have this location blocked for booking. Luckily I was able to book a unit at the 8161 Eastex Frwy location. I had parking storage and they moved my trailer without letting me know. I was not happy and when I asked the CSR he just blamed someone else and did not care as he did not have anything to do with it. ZERO OWNERSHIP of the issue. I did not even get a simple we are sorry or I am sorry we should let you know. I was about to call the police because I could not see my trailer where I left it. I've never under any circumstances received customer service that was this unprofessional Manager included especially after he was told I was almost 800 miles away he wants me to wait 3 days before someone could come remove a lock they (Uhaul) should have had the keys too! Truck dirty and empty and then when I got back there to tell him the cide didn't work 10 minutes prior doors already lock then Im shown howcto keep doof open until I'm finished loading my things because their too lazy to do their job effectively! If I didn't have two young men with me Id of not felt safe then with a PANDEMIC you givevme a filthy truck! I wish I'd of had more time I woild have definitely gotten a rental elsewhere! I didn’t know I was parking my boat in a wet grassy lot with a bunch of junk cars. I thought I was putting it in a storage garage. Also, my brother is Michael Rountree, he did not rent this storage, I did. He had nothing to do with it, so why did his name come up as the renter? Ensure cargo trailers are swept out/clean before the customer checks it out. Also ensure that the correct equipment assigned to an individual, should be that particular trailer. Only when I checked the trailer in, did I discover that what I had driven away with, was not the trailer that was on the contract.Will B.

Be more helpful and professional. The dolly Inwas supposed to rent was not put on the truck and when I asked to have it removed from my bill, it was not. I got the run around between this location, the answering service, as well as customer service and found I had to go back to the original location to correct the matter which defeated the purpose because gas getting there would have been more than the $10 fee that needed to be removed. I will never use Uhaul again until they hire people who are more professional and helpful and can speak properly. The only person who helped was a guy at the South Main location. Everyone else I spoke with on the phone was horrible and not helpful at all. A very frustrating process to endure while moving and working full time.CECORI D.

I have only one improve about Uhaul, not necessarily this specific location. Overall, it was a great experience, but I felt it unnecessary for me to purchase Uhaul's insurance because I was already in possession of a Renter's Insurance policy, I just didn't have documentation on my person as that was my first day in this new city that I now call home and was yet to get settled in. In the future, perhaps, we can allow the customer a couple of days to retrieve said documentation in lieu of making the purchase mandatory.FELIX S.

They gave us the worst truck ever. The steering wheel was broken , the lights went out in the middle of the trip almost got a ticket. Then tried to charge for gas. We had put it back where it needed but the gas Gage was broken too.SARAH H.
The store is suppose to be open by 7:00AM, which was the time our GUARANTEED RESERVATION was made, but it wasn't. There seemed to be an employee cleaning the U-Haul Trucks (mostly sweeping it seemed) but he didn't even bother to let us know it may be a minute or two before the doors are open to customers. We didn't get our truck until 7:08AM which was 8 minutes after our guaranteed reservation. Now when inquired about the $50 we are suppose to get if our GUARANTEED reservation is not made he basically blew it off saying it was only a couple of minutes. This may be true but then you should not guarantee the reservation if it cannot be made. When I asked him if the reservation was guaranteed or not and demanded a yes or no answer, the employee said I was complaining and whether I wanted the truck or not. If it was not for my wife I would not have let that go! This place needs improvement in customer service.Jose G.

The dolly we rented was almost impossible to hook up. The tire straps were so frayed, it took forever to get them released enough to use. The ramp releases need WD40 to make them release in order to get the ramps down, It took 3 people to prep the dolly just to be able to load the vehicle.BRITTANY D.
