Trip was from miami to Wichita and upon turn in to Wichita the system had me returning to Miami and had trouble turning trailer into Wichita. Had to call miami scheduling to fix in order to turn in trailer.

BARRIS ACustomer service needs drastic improvements. They need to stop confirming thing with customers over the phone but when you go in person they are telling you something different. I did not appreciate the fact I spoke with 4 different people including a manager about my reservation, however when I get there to pick up my truck nothing was in the system regarding my reservation, the service is 100% horrible. When I had to drop off they told me in person I could chose my location at the time of drop off, but after i dropped the truck off I called to let Uhaul know then they claims I cannot just choose my own location and they has to chose the location for me ... Horrible experience. UHAUL WHOLE ENTIRE STAFF AND SYSTEM NEEDS TO BE UPDATED AND UPGRADED ... MAJOR IMPROVEMENT NEEDED.
deborah kThey listed the gas reading wrong causing me to pay more after drop off. They listed a reading of more gas than the actual amount. I took pictures of the gauges and mileage at the lot. The truck had a cracked and dirty windshield. Poor business by listing fraudulent gas readings. Probably has done this with numerous other customers, Did not do a walk around to verify mileage, gas reading, or truck damages.?
Louis GAgain the app would not work for me so I had to ask for help. When you return a truck it is clearly marked where to return the equipment, pull up to the tent and park. The signs say wait there and someone will come to Check you out. I parked and waited. I saw a young man, employee come out of the building helping another customer and when done he did not acknowledge I was there so I asked him what to do. He said he would take car of it I could leave. So I waited more until he came to check me out. I put a little more gas than necessary to make sure I was not charged any additional fees. Again since the app would not work, in a city with plenty of service, I waited for the young man to complete my check out and I received notice from U-Haul saying I had no additional charges. Get your app working without WiFi for customers. It’s frustrating when you offer mobile check in and it doesn’t work.

JONEST EEverything was perfect, even the office staff were exceptional and friendly, except for the young man in charge of receiving the equipment when it's returned. I don't want to single anyone out, but there was one very young man in particular who treated me very badly when I approached him to drop off the trailer. He doesn't deserve to have contact with the public.

MATTHEW ODear Customer Service Team, I need to address several issues with this rental that are unfair and need correction. First, your fuel policy is inconsistent and one-sided. I was charged when a vehicle is returned with less fuel, yet there is no reimbursement or credit when a vehicle is returned with more fuel than it had at pickup. I returned the vehicle with a full tank of gas, even though it was provided to me with only three-quarters (3/4) of a tank. I paid out of pocket to add fuel and received no credit, yet customers are penalized if the fuel level is lower upon return. This policy is unreasonable. Second, your company appears to be rounding up mileage, resulting in charges for miles that were not actually driven. Mileage should be calculated strictly from exact odometer readings, not rounded figures. I am requesting a review and correction of the fuel charge and mileage calculation on my rental. Please provide a clear explanation and issue the appropriate adjustment. Sincerely, Shawn

MICHAEL C | First ImpressionsThe branch located at 1050 North Flagler Avenue in Florida is a massive joke. They gave me a storage unit that was already occupied, they provided me with a different unit that didn’t meet the requirements I asked for so I decided to cancel it and get a refund. Their system could not process the refund. I waited from 3pm to 7pm for them to resolve this issue and it was not resolved. I left the store as it closed, without a product and their manager’s promise over the phone “I’ll find a way to get you your money” I was also denied contact with this manager, no receipt or real confirmation of this “promise” all just word of mouth. The following day the store was in operation, and this issue was still not resolved. Monday afternoon came about and I’m calling the branch for an update, I waited and entire hour on hold during my lunch break. Eventually I finally got an answer and was told my refund was done, that I had to wait 24 hours for it. I also had to request a receipt for this, as I was not given one. I can’t even begin to understand how this branch carries on operation. Every single costumer I witnessed during my wait at the store had issues, some left from long wait times, some cancelled their services as they also encountered irregularities. This branch needs attention and a change of management, as the manager would rather sit at home trying to “solve” costumer’s issues over the phone, instead of reporting to the store.
