It was unclear that I needed separately to reserve the trailer when I was getting the hitch installed, as when the hitch was finally installed, the trailer was no longer available. Otherwise, I was happy with the staff here and professionalism.

Super disappointed with the rental process. I reserved a 20ft truck at a different location, then was called and told one wouldn't be available there, so I needed to pick up from an alternate location. I arrive to pick up my rental at new location, the gentleman working was very friendly & kind. He asked what size truck i reserved, I say ‘20ft' he repeats ‘20 ft' and gets my last name. From there, we go through the process, he hands me a key and I leave. As I drive by the location I was turned away from due to availability, I see what appears to me, a slightly larger truck than what I am driving. Once I get home, I measure the truck I rented, and find it is only 15ft. I then call uhaul and get a snotty representative. I tell her I rented a 20ft, believe I have a 15ft and want to make sure I'm not being charged for a larger truck than I have. The unpleasant and attitude I received from her was off putting, but confirms I have rented a 15ft truck. I ask if this is normal to not say anything to the customer if the reservation is changed, and she states ‘you probably just miss clicked'. Uh… no, I didn't, the gentleman at the location I picked up from confirmed 20ft to my face. While I realize I was charged for a 15ft truck, the fact I reserved a larger truck, wasn't told my reservation was changed and then had to make more trips due to the smaller size of truck was quite frustrating. Not sure I'll use uhaul for future rentals. The whole experience was more frustrating than it was worth.

I needed a vehicle to transport some furniture that was not expected. Reserving the vehicle wasn't too difficult but, ended up with two reservations by mistake at two different locations. Canceling one reservation was easy. Not sure if the duplicate reservation caused the problem but, I received a text and a phone call to pick the vehicle up at a new location that was not an issue. The vehicle was available on time so good job overall. My only disappointment was the exterior mirrors were filthy and so streaked it was difficult to see. I don't know what the turnaround procedures are but, operational lights and clean mirrors should be top priority on any rented vehicle. Especially for drivers unfamiliar to the type of vehicle that they are renting.

I have rented vehicles from this location for well over 10 years. I was fortunate enough to be helped by William, who's customer service skills are superb. However, there must be a new manager in that office because everyone else was unfriendly and unprofessional. When I returned the truck, I could not get help from anyone -- I was just ignored. To add insult to injury, when I was emailed my bill, it had not only a $50 cleaning charge, but an additional $120 damage charge. I drove that vehicle less than 10 miles, put 2.5 gallons of gas in it, cleaned it thoroughly and returned it with no damage whatsoever. After this experience, someone from u-haul better contact me and explain how $19.95 became an over $200 four hour rental. I'm sorry, this is just flat-out unethical.

The owner of this location was the one that created the reservation for me, I requested the drop off location to be Tehaleh at Bonney Lake, WA. instead, he put the location as Sumner WA. When I went back to make him change the location, he just gave me a phone number to call, I told him he is the one that made the mistake, he should be calling not me. He told me he couldn't make the call in an arrogant manner, I didn't want to escalate the situation and left.

When I dropped off the trailer, the person receiving it asked me to speculate why a railing in the trailer was no longer attached to the wall. I told him that this is the condition the trailer was in when I picked it up and that I documented that the railing was not attached correctly upon pickup. He continued pressing me about the railing until I went into the trailer and looked at the railing and told him perhaps your glue is old, or perhaps someone else before me rammed the rail really hard, or perhaps something else happened. I'm not sure what he was expecting, but I'm not in the practice of speculating why things are the way they are when I was not involved...

The Black guy there helped me before - on a previous visit. I'd like to say that he's a “beautiful man”. What that means is I see him internally… as we spoke of some old times in history (he's 10 years younger than I am)… and we laughed… and he's just an all-around GREAT guy! The manager here was outstanding. He went over and above to help me out. He had just arrived to try and get the store open but saw that I was struggling to get my key from the self pickup box and would need a new reservation. Although he was tasked with opening the store he saw my dilemma and helped me get on my way. He said he always puts himself on the customer side of the counter to understand how they feel would feel. You have an excellent manager here, made my day. Please recognize him. Thank you.

Terrible experience. I booked a 10” U-haul days in advance and was told I was guaranteed the truck at the Shoreline location. When my partner and I went to pick up the truck, they told us they overbooked and didn't have the 10” truck I reserved. They even gave the last 10” truck to the people who were standing BEHIND us in line. Then they told us they only had a 20” truck available at a different location and that we would have to pay the full price of the 20” truck when that's not what we reserved. They told us to pick up the 20” truck at the Lynnwood U-haul 5 minutes before they closed, so we didn't make it in time and had to figure out how to leave with the truck on our own. Every person we spoke to was absolutely no help and essentially told us to figure it out on our own. I don't blame the workers just trying to do their jobs, but the lack of professionalism from U-haul and their disregard for paying customers is disgusting. I would absolutely not recommend booking with U-haul.

I was notified by uhaul a few days before my pick up date the pick up location had moved to the Interbay location near Queen Ann. I called the Interbay location the day of the pick up to confirm and they agreed they were the pick up location. After driving 45 min in traffic when I arrived a different person told me I was at the wrong location and had to drive an 45 min in traffic back to Linwood. So in the end after following the automated text and calling to verify I was sent to the incorrect pick up location.

I just wanted to give a shout out for William. He was manning the location single handedly first thing in the morning on a very busy moving day. He was so pleasant and multi tasked to help several customers get processed really quickly and smoothly. I had heard not great reviews about this location and I was really grateful for William's excellent service. I hope he will be recognized for his dedication and excellent customer service.

There were also three other facilities involved in this truck rental fiasco. Your reservation, rental, availabilty and customer servise should be considered an embarassment tou your name. after the rubn around between settling the reservation with two other facilities the place we actually got the truck from messed up the paperwork and the charges. Then told me the printer was down and couldn't give me a receipt. now my email receipts are so scramble I'm not sure what you actually charged me. Your corp has major issues with communication and booking as well as customer relations and respect. after conversations with Seattle, lynnwood, shoreline, alderwood and a second store in lynnwood we finally got the truck, then we your people started clling to get the truck back because the paperwork was not done correctly on your end. major systemic problems with these guys.... The Gal taking my return tried to be very helpful and worked hard to clear up the confusion. But when I got home there are 4 emails in my box all reflecting different charges so I have to wait for things to clear up befor I know what uhaul is actually even billing my crd for. I hope you got it right..:=))

My experience with UHAUL over the course of my recent cross-country move was a hellish nightmare. They messed up my reservation multiple times in very extreme ways — to the point where they made me drive from Lynnwood to Portland for pickup, only to be denied the equipment I needed at the last minute and drive all the way home empty-handed. Regarding this location in particular, I paid in advance for the equipment during online check-in, and notified them at the time of reservation that I might be late for pickup; still when I showed up, they acted shocked that I was late and gave me a big lecture about how I might not be able to get my equipment that I had already paid over $1K for because they might've rented it out to someone else already (they hadn't, for the record, and in fact had two or three extras on the lot in the same size — the whole lecture was an unnecessary guilt trip and waste of my time). I spent hundreds of dollars trying to mitigate the damage caused by UHAUL, with no help from local support staff and no responses from corporate support when I attempted several times to contact them for assistance, and my entire move was nearly botched beyond repair. I will never use UHAUL again, and advise everyone to use extreme caution and make sure you have a backup plan in place (and if you have any other options, I recommend you take them instead).

Went in to get our trailer and the front desk woman said she couldn't "find" our reservation after looking at the same screen as she was and telling her my last name I had to physically point it out to her. My wife had booked the reservation online and did the pre-check in for me set up the pick up time and the return time ( which I then had to explain everything over again because the woman at the front desk did not know anything so not sure why they have the precheck if they don't use it. Also when my wife did the precheck and set it all up it told her the price they ended up charging us an extra $30 without any explanation we just received the receipt and there it was. I think this is very bad customer service their online portal says one thing they don't mention anything when you are there then just send you the receipt. We will never use this service again and never will refer friends or family here.
