Id say allow longer rental periods and a discount for long rentals
RODERIC MThe folks who work at this location are truly moronic. My biggest complaint is that the gentleman helping me decided to tell me AFTER I had gone through all the paperwork and paid, that I was not allowed to park my personal vehicle at this location. I have parked at this location many times and never had a problem. Additionally, he had no suggestions on where to park my car, so I had to drive around the neighborhood until I found a spot that would suffice. Then, when I dropped off the vehicle back at this location, I parked the rental vehicle in the same spot I picked it up from, as I always do. When I came inside to drop off the keys, the same gentleman let me know that I had to move the vehicle to a specific area... You probably should have told me that as I was renting the vehicle?? Woof 1/10 would recommend to a friend.
Luke GLong trailer hitch laying on the ground did not have a safety cone or clear marking in front of it. It was raining and dark at 7:30am in the morning. My wife tripped and hurt leg, hip, and hands. The bar on the trailer is on the ground and the color matches the concrete which makes it hard to see when you try to search for your trailer and it’s easy not paying attention to the ground.

I caught the error and informed him. He reloaded the entry to the correct charge. My honesty saved your company $900.00.

KEDYS RYou charged me $27 cleaning fee because there was a little dirt in back of truck and and over $50 in fuel fees even though I replaced the gas. And everyone there was rude. Will never use any Haul again
MATTHEW RFirst person answers my phone call to make reservation was not friendly and helpful at all, so I went personally to the store and a young man was exultant.
SULEIMAN ECheck out was great - check in another story! The guy kept telling me to do everything on my phone - so why was there even an employee there if I'm doing all the work? No one told me to bring a tablet or computer or reading eye glasses to pick this up. I could barely see to maneuver the check in process on my small phone. Thank goodness I was the one there getting it and not my mother - she doesn't even own a cell phone. Then I'm forced to take pictures but all the trucks were parked so close to each other that I could barely get in to take a picture. It was extremely difficult getting the truck out of the parking space due to the very tight parking situation. Why didn't they pull the truck out for me? I felt like I was doing all the work. Charge $10 more then and have the employee do their job. I've rented at other locations with way better service.

DARWIN RHave customer parking, I had to go go park a half mile away because you guys have no customer parking. Ask the gentleman if I could park there for 30 minutes because that’s literally all it took to go dump some things real quick but now I had to walk

CHRIS IIt's not a very big location so the parking is tight. However, the staff is courteous and attentive. They actually had a truck for us this time. The previous time we reserved a truck, but it wasn't back in time for our reservation and they gave us a cargo van instead. That was a little tricky to use for hauling compost for our garden. This time, however, everything was as it should have been per our reservation.
CYNTHIA EI have used this Uhaul center on numerous occasions and always get good service. This time it was even better. No time wasted. The truck i rented was brand new and a pleasure to drive.

JILL SI was provided a different drop off (even further than what i had, paid over $50 in an uber to get back to my daughter's apartment). The gentleman who was there (named Jose), was not kind, felt very stressed (raised his voice multiple times when i tried to ask questions asking me to wait, "PLEASE WAIT" he kept saying), he kept telling me that he did not have this vehicle in his drop off list and that he had to double check. When i tried to check out with him he said i will receive an email when i wanted to do it right there and that he will be checking me in later. I ended up doing the check in via the application myself... a terrible experience. He should go back to training on how to address customers and not mumble words when i tried to ask questions... Again a terrible experience

Cydney BI had to purchase a tongue and ball. Your website says nothing about this and is extremely misleading. I do not want to criticize this location when it is the corporate website that is responsible for this.
JAMES PNo on-site parking although the staff does a good job of making sure customers are aware at the time of rental pick up, I don't think customers are aware when they make a reservation.
Jeffrey HSince I bought the optional insurance perhaps I shouldn’t have to take so many photographs of the vehicle when returning it? The DIY return process is a bit too involved and time consuming from the QR code to the end of the photography.
Troy TI was told to bring car back with full tank, I but car he ad less than half tank when I took it. I paid 120$ to fill it, why if I drove only 80 miles that day. The representative told me that I was told to check gas before taking the car and return it with the same amount which wasn’t true. The indicator in the car doesn’t even allow to properly get gallons left. None of the representatives had badges with name.
OLEKSANDR FCustomer service was extremely poor. Castro refused to give me the truck size I needed for the only reason, he couldn’t trust me bringing it back on-time for the next customer . Unbelievable!!!!!

ADUGNA SThe gas gauge was off. I drove the truck approximately 10 miles total. I stopped to put gas in prior to returning the vehicle, figuring I would put in a gallon or 2. I stopped filling the tank at over 5 gallons of gas at an expense of $25.00. I certainly did not burn over 5 gallons of gas during the time I had the truck.

TRAVIS KIt was a great experience from start to finish. The only thing that was problematic with the U-Haul app. Some of the links or buttons didn’t do anything. Search was difficult to use (things keep getting in the way). Needs some refining.

ANDREW EHire staff whose concern is customer service. Both on pickup and return, less than satisfactory experience. The common issue is that U-Haul staff want your money for the least amount of effort imaginable. On pickup, I was the only customer facility. It took 3-5 minutes for the agent to lift his eyes to serve me; he was fiddling with an earphone on his radio and seemingly couldn't be bothered. Checkout was tedious and U-Haul's process is like a self checkout at a grocery store. You're sent a link on the phone and required to take a selfy, images of your license back and front, and 360 degree photos of the rental truck and dash following prompts and entering comments as necessary. The truck was parked between others and it was impossible to frame the scenes within the outlined drawings on the screen. On return, I was the 2nd person in line and we had to wait ~15 minutes for the sole agent to refill propane tanks for a customer. When my turn, I was told I had to wait 35-40 minutes to be served because "we don't do returns while there are other customers on line". I insisted and they grudgingly called someone from the yard to do the return and print a receipt. He acted as this was a great imposition and was discourteous at best, rude in point of fact. Again, U-Haul policy seems to be to get your money and make the least possible effort in doing so, and without common customer service courtesy. I don't know if I will ever rent from U-Haul. At least, not from the U-Haul Storage of Lynnwood, WA. A totally aggravating experience in both interactions with these staff.
LOUIS RThe only complaint I have is that I was told I could not park my car in the parking lot while I was renting the van. The employee told me I had to park it across the street in a Costco parking lot and run across a busy 4 lane highway to get back to the Uhaul location to get the van. They said my car would be towed! I took my chances and left the car there as I was only using the van for a little over an hour to go to the dump. I retrieved the car after that. However, when I returned the van the next day, I had to pay for an Uber to get home because I was not allowed to leave my car in the Uhaul parking lot, adding additional expenses to my rental. Not allowing your customers to park in your parking lot while renting YOUR equipment is a terrible policy. I also think it is not good practice to tell your customers to park in a neighboring business's parking lot. I will be looking for another option next time I need to rent a truck/van.

Mohammad AMy original pick up spot changed via a text and I was not aware of the change so went to the wrong place initially and then after 20-25 minutes of calling, getting dropped, being put on hold, etc., was made aware of the correct location. When I arrived, the place was quite busy and all employees seemed to be helping one individual with a dolly while I waited and waited and waited for assistance. Once folks got to me, they were pretty polite and the process went okay, but the total process took an hour an a half longer than it should of, when I was trying to sneak the pick up during my work day. Not a great experience.

The folks found leftover personal items my friend left on the stack of moving boxes, called me to pick up her stuff and everything will be handed back to her Sunday, September 7, 2025! My friend was my driver for this Haul because I stopped using vehicles in 2017. Awesome office I always recommend!

Alan EIn my opinion,Make ready the truck full with fuel. I was given with half (1/2) of gas. I didn’t know how much I was used.Though, I filled the truck 100% with the expectation of reimbursement. But they told me as they do not reimburse. This part makes me uncomfortable. .
ASHEBIR LTotally dirty smelly trailer, left turn signal wiring is bad and goes in and out. Plus charged me for after hours drop off? You guys have really done down hill. I won’t rent for you anymore.

JAROD OI appreciated that the UBox arrived ahead of time and that storing it for a few days was at no extra cost. This let me arrange for it to be delivered to my new apartment at a more convenient time and the MovingHelp contractor Anthony and his team were very professional and courtesy and great to work with!

ALAN HNo parking on site and lot is on a busy road? Makes zero sense. When I picked up my trailer, the dolly I rented wasn’t inside the trailer. I had to drive back to the lot, the employee told me to grab a dolly from outside. I did that myself and left. Upon return, I put the dolly back in the same location since there was only 1 employee working at nobody was there to help me at drop off line. I was then charged for missing equipment. Terrible experience overall, 0/5
ALEXANDER RFriendly service, accommodating scheduling (thanks for getting me in same-day!), and straight forward & fair pricing (approx 1/3 the cost of the dealership and U-Haul technicians install these everyday, not once-in-a-while, so they're skilled. Plus, there is a lifetime guarantee on the hitch frame, even if I get rear-ended. Thank you, thank you!

ROBERT WEquipment was relatively clean but: > only 1/4 tank of gas. That is a pain to start off with and difficult to match at the end. Just fill it for customers!!! > poor QC on tires. We got a flat which does happen. However I took a picture of the tire; it was bald; likely the flat (or something worse) would not have happened had the truck been inspected before turning over to the customer. > I ordered 12 furniture blankets. They were not included in the truck.

Keykavous RWe watched the store manager be very disrespectful to the customer in front of us. He was rude to her and of no help at all. She was by herself renting a full size truck and it had no gas in it. Due to the location he prefers the vehicles to be empty of gas no matter what U-Haul policy of renting a vehicle with gas in it is. She asked to leave her personal vehicle on site and he said no, she needed to move it to a business down the street, with no help getting her back and forth. We almost walked out ourselves due to his treatment of her.
PETER CThis location is extremely overcrowded, extremely difficult to enter the lot and maneuver a 20+ foot truck safely. The person answering the phone didn’t speak English well and was very unhelpful with giving direction in how to get into the location for drop off.

Andrea ZGeneral manager was initially rude and unhelpful. Only apologized after I called out his behavior. No parking onsite - had to park at Costco and then walk almost a mile back. Why not let customers park their car in place of their rental truck? Truck gas tank was completely empty (3 miles to empty). I was concerned about it even making it to a gas station. Truck was very old, smelled awful. Manual locks and windows, no backup camera. Need to upgrade equipment.
Heather DPick up: the person who checked me in for pick was very rude, unprofessional, uninterested, even using profanity during my time at the store the morning of 7/24/25. Very unpleasant experience. Equipment: perfectly clean and convenient Return: very easy, the guy who helped me was very friendly and professional.
