The pick up location and drop off location personnel were very professional and helpful. A huge word of caution, I found the web page to be a huge mistake when it came to ordering the equipment since it is very poorly designed. Having to deal with the 800 number personnel only exacerbated the problem. I found them to be either of no help or outright rude. Go to the location to receive service.

The reservation process was the most stressful experience imaginable. I was told on 2 separate occasions. First my reservation was being pushed back 2.5 hours and being moved to another location, I called the new location and was on hold for 25 minutes and then told to call back because the computer was being slow. I end up calling a few times and ended up with my noon pick up time again (the correct time). An hour later I receive a call saying my time is now pushed back to 4 or 4:30. I had people coming to help me move at 12:30 and was told now for the second time after noon had been confirmed that it wasn't gonna happen. How does this happen? Reservations that are made online and/or over the phone and confirmation is received should not have to go through this the day before pick up. Very frustrating.

Your on-line mobile check-in did not work and my husband had to go inside anyway, after I paid in advance and went through the mobile process to pick up the truck. We got there early at 8:50am and it took half an hour to get the truck after my husband went inside. There was no mention that a family member need to be available to verify ID.

Thanks for providing a clean environment and taking care of us during our use of U-Haul. Only recommendation would be having easy access to hand sanitizer throughout the store (particularly at the entrance) and making it more visible to customers. Outside of that: as always our experience with U-haul was smooth, efficient, and certainly plan to use your services again.

I pulled in at 7pm, planning to use my phone to return the truck. There is a Subaru car parked in the Equipment Return area where the cleaning supplies were. I was looking at my phone and a male employee comes up to my window and tells me they're closed, there's no one to help me. PLEASE NOTE THE OPEN SIGN IS ON!!! I told him that's fine, I'm doing it through the app anyways, he walks off. Few minutes later, standing outside the truck looking at my phone app, a woman walks up and says, "can you pull the truck up to the cleaning station?" It's now empty of the Subaru. I told her I could when I finish with the app but just for clarity, I said, "Why isn't there anyone to help me if the OPEN sign is on and you're still here?" She then says, "At 7, we're done!" And proceeds to walk off. I commented back, I'll make sure to place that in the comments, she bobbed her head yes and kept walking away. I finished my truck and left. Now 1 employee coming up to me (while I'm in the truck) and making sure I know they are closed in a "matter-of-factly" tone is one thing (sign says open, and I didn't ask anyone for help) But 2 employees going out of their way to confront me (again I never spoke or elicited help from either employee) and also asking me to move the truck is utter ridiculous. Her attitude was horrible, his I could have shrugged off. But after doing a full day of moving, it was completely unnecessary. I'm saying something cause it was just that rude.........

I booked a large storage space online and confirmed it with the Uhall corporate office. However, when I arrived at the facility, They not only did not have my reservation, they didn't even have any large storage spaces available. The counter rep was rude and did not offer any help. As a result, I was forced to get a small space to unload my current truck, but was unable to continue my move. I was then forced to get a space as Public Storage, and in effect had to have two storage facilities for 2 months. Terrible coordination with the Uhall corporate reservation system and poor customer service. I will never use Uhall again as Public Storage was cheaper and more professional

After reserving and confirming a 20' from an Everett location, that the owner was not even aware of the reservation and had no truck available, we had to contact Uhaul customer service where the operator was less than helpful to solve the issue. The operator found a 17' truck at the Lynnwood Uhaul, and they (Lynnwood) provided excellent service.

Not the pickup locations fault but pick up of the equipment was 70 miles away from my loading location so I had to drive South to get the vehicle then drive back North before I could load and head South. It would seem that with the numerous UHaul locations in Skagit and Whatcom counties a 26' vehicle could be available from one of them.

what is the point of reserving online just to have to repeat all the questions again during checkout. For example, the type of insurance, and why is my card needed for reservation, but I still need to swipe my card when I check out? This is a little redundant. Needs improvement

A little friendlier reception (not a big deal though), making sure the return area for trucks is clear and obvious, especially in the rain so you don't have to make awkward rear parallel parking maneuvers in a large vehicle you aren't familiar with.

Access should be 24 hours; not after I’ve been a customer for a long period of time. I was granted access right before 10pm and then locked out afterwards.. quite problematic Owner helped me back trailer in and was very helpful.

We drove in a Uhaul truck for 9 hours for this move. As time was getting tight, we called the office to understand how we could get into our unit If we arrived after hours. We were told that they couldn’t help us and that we needed to go online. We skipped all other stops and arrived at 4:57 - three minutes before the office closed. As I walked in the office manager told one Employees to lock the door before anyone else came in. Then he proceeded to tell me that he could not help me and that I needed so go online. I stood in front of the man and stumbled through the online experience. I received my access code and went outdoors to the keypad. The code did not work. I went back to the office and knocked on the door. I told the manager that the code wasn’t working. He told me that there was nothing he could do and that rather than using my security code, I could just wait until one of the others moving in opened the door. He said that without the security code at the front door, and alarm would go off when I opened our unit, but to just ignore that - it would go off in 10 seconds. The only person at this location who helped was Jade. After the day manager left, she came out and helped us with the security code and gave us their cell number for text questions. I have security concerns about this location. Your office manager is a very poor representation of the company. He is a deterrent and I would warn people to use one of the many other storage options in the area.

They did not have the 20ft truck that I rented, it took them a half hour to try and find another available truck and it was a 17ft so I had to do 2 trips I read of one. staff was also rude and very unfriendly.

They were over-priced and a little sketchy.. My brother picked up the truck for me. They had my card to charge (that I made the reservation with) but wouldn't charge it without me there so my brother had to unexpectedly pay them then they sent me a text to verify the amount of gas and condition of truck (pictures). Again, I wasn't there to pick up the truck but didn't want any further delay for my brother so went ahead and verified what the pictures for condition of the truck (which weren't accurate once I saw the truck) and what it what it indicated for amount of gas the truck had in it when my brother picked it up. Turned out the gas was inaccurate also by a long shot so they got 50,00 extra dollars worth of free gas out of us. Then once the rental was turned in, they found another way to charge an additional 95.00. This was far off the quote I got online for the cost of the rental. Definitely was nickel and diming for every cent. I've dealt with many other Uhauls where this was not the experience and in fact felt they were well-priced and professional. Will never go back to this Uhaul and will steer others away.

The WRONG size truck was recommended by the Lowes employee I purchased my slider door from. Not tall enough! So the truck was returned early in the AM due to no door brought home. A second taller truck was rented on line for pick up by my daughter this AM.

I called and made a reservation at another location via phone call and drove to that.location and was told they didn't have a truck but this location did, which was odd because I went to this location first and was also told no trucks available and the person working the desk was not interested in checking to see if another location had a truck. The gentleman that helped me when I returned the second time was friendly and helpful. When we returned the truck the person that checked me in was friendly but very hard to hear him, had to have him repeat himself a couple of times. I think wearing a mask and the traffic noise was tprobably the issue so he would just to speak louder.

The waiting line was a little long, though I know was due to covid. Inventory low as well. Seems like toward end of a month and on weekends, management can expect higher demand and increase staffing to provided quicker, better customer service. Also to forecast supply and demand a little better, maybe using historical analytics.

The young kid, Garrett, who works there checking in the vehicles was extremely dismissive in his interactions. When we approached the entrance he stuck his head out of the window of the truck he was cleaning and said, ‘ you can't park there, that's where we park our trucks.' He did not attempt to get our attention prior to saying this, he yelled at us as we walked by. Then as I was returning the van, I entered the building to complete my transaction. I was maybe three steps into the building when he stopped us to say, ‘she will check you in our there' as if he didn't want us in the store at all. He did not as if there were things in the store we may want to purchase or if we needed assistance of any kind, he was extremely dismissive in his actions. I then returned to my van to wait for the girl he said would check us in and then he came to the driver side of the van where I was sitting and said, ‘ I need to get in there to check the gas and mileage' as if I was supposed to know that this was the procedure or that he was now the one that was going to check in the van. He then turned the vehicle on to check the gas and mileage, then sat on his phone punching in information without say a word to me. Then he looked at me and in an irritated voice said what the mileage was. He then told me the total and asked if I wanted to use the same card. I said ‘yes'. He said , ‘ perfect, have a great day ‘ again with an extremely dismissive tone and attitude. I found him to be rude in his interactions from the beginning of my uhaul experience to the very end.

My first rental with U-Haul was pretty bad. I made a reservation to pick up a 15" truck at my local U-Haul in Everett at 11:30 am. When I arrived at the Everett location I was told my truck was at the North Lynnwood location, 7 miles away. I had received no notifications about this of any kind. No emails, no text messages, no phone calls. I had to call my wife and have her come back and take me to the North Lynnwood location. When I got to the Lynnwood location I was told that they didn't have a 15" truck available until 3:30 pm. Mind you, they closed at 5pm. This was no help to me and it didn't help that the employee helping me was giving me and other customers a bit of attitude. Finally I was told that if I absolutely needed a truck ‘right now', they had a 10" van that I could get right away. I had a lot of stuff that I needed moved the day of, so I accepted that but the smaller van meant I had to do more trips and more trips meant more miles which of course meant higher cost for me. Very disappointed with the amateurish way this company/business is run.

I went to three different U-Haul locations looking for a pickup. The first two locations did not have any available but ensured me if I go to the locations down the road that they have pickups available. The last location I have up and accepted a van. This was not a reservation just a walk up. Wait times were horrible and I guess your system was down Saturday... or so I was told hence the reason no one was accurate on availability.

Only if I was to suggest Uhaul! Your managing of my last rental was aggravating and had me frustrated to the last minute. Your help at the 14429 location was the most helpful. They saved your ass from canceling our reservation.

You need better signs. The directions don't indicate that you are there as soon as you get onto Hwy 99. And there are no convenient u-turn locations combined with a barrier to southbound customers.

The emergency alarm went off every time we were there, over the past 4 years. Sometimes it would go off twice if there for an hour or so. Very irritating. Great place otherwise.

We were helped by a manager at the facility. He was very helpful but we ran into problems with a unit that was locked that shouldn’t be. He said he would give us a month free because of the Hassle. But at the end of our visit I realized that he didn’t know what he was doing ( not to mention also on prescription drugs because of a surgery and at work...). He could not finish our transition that day for some reason and said that I would get a call the next day to finish the transaction and it will be all set. I never got a call. I have a busy schedule so this is not something that is top of my priority. He said he would get it fixed for me and yet he never did. A week passed and I didn’t get a call so when I had time I would call into the store but no one would ever pick up. My boyfriend tried calling as well and would be sent to an external number. We then received late fee because we didn’t pay our bill but that wasn’t our fault. The only reason we got this issue solved was because we drove all the way back to the uhaul store and talked with the guy who was supposed to fix this issue weeks ago! This was the worst customer service I have ever experience. First off, your employees should not be working if they are on medication and supposed to be home recovering. He probably messed this whole situation up because he wasn’t thinking straight. This has been a very poor experience. I am upset that I could not even get ahold of a single employee who works at this location on the phone, I had to drive all the way back when I was told I wouldn’t have to and it would be worked out. I am very very disappointed and do not see myself recommending this location to anyone I know. I have never had this bad of customer service at any other uhaul location.

The only issue I had was a rat trap literally falling on me when I opened my unit. That was gross and very unsafe!

The only place to access a ramp is always blocked by signs and advertising trailer making it near to impossible to back a trailer in. The storage and return vehicles constantly blocks access to ramps especially low ramps convenient for trailers.the back entrance is always blocked by a truck preventing you from coming in from the other side which would make it somewhat easier to back trailer in. When you do get backed in return trucks constantly block your egress and it is difficult to get an employee to move them. When a load was getting away from me on a truck an employee refused to help and let my load fall over then refused to give be me a hand righting it. Another person at the loading dock actually helped me. Staff was constenty dismissive and slow. There is not enough staff for work load. A couple times homeless in facility asking for access to the bathroom. Definitely not impressed with the lack of customer service especially for the exorbitant rates charged.

You can never get a place to load, you park your uhaul trucks in the loading area. Your staff is rude and you are unable to manage direct payments. I would not recommend this self storage..

Having to earn the trust over the first several months, as stated by the friendly staff, to gain the "priviledge" of 24hr access (as advertised, ironically) was a testament of the #U-Haul corporations lack of belief in the herd values of the community. I'm a swing shift employee and found it rather irritating that, due to #U-Haul and their view of this community, I have to earn 24hr access, on an unknown scale of trust. The rates are... OK at best. The employee I dealt with was a very good person and helpful. *They will treat the space as if 12' in ceiling height is useable space.. just saying.

The Facility staff was very nice. I do not recommend services such as this. However the average rating is primarily due to a poor experience with a central service center pushy attendant that would not allow for my prior knowledge of this U haul facility but instead trying to force a process hat was not helpful to me.

This uhaul is the best one around, I've used them for moving trucks and vans, and have used self storage a few times. They are very helpful, and sometimes give little discounts (late move out etc)
