It was great they helped hook up the trailer etc. I am new to the area so did not know how the app worked when picking up the equipment. Two things could have made better: 1. explain what i was supposed to do on picking up the equipment in the app with pictures etc. 2. I know not prob. her job, but the main manager was in and about while there was a long line and no one said anything to me - the customer. I think they were talking to each other but ignoring us. If it was me and I have been in certain positions dealing with people, I would have said that we will be with you in a minute etc. Something rather than nothing, that's all. thanks

elizabeth bTruck was not even water “resistant” soaked many boxes. Charged me for 6 gallons of gas and after hours service fees, even though I dropped it off with a lot attendant. Doubled the cost!
Jesse MThe person helping me was more interested in taking his break and talking to co-workers than helping me. I was asked to take a photo of myself and my driver's license. The app did not work. I have used this location in the past and the service was excellent. It has really gone down hill.
JAMES WOne small issue. The uhaul app requests photos of all sides at the beginning of the rental. There was not enough room to take requested photos.
David KWe think the staff is knowledable, friendly and helpful! Jenny was exceptional as we have two rentals a day apart. Everything coordinated well.

Todd GTruck smelled of nothing but smoke, no other vehicle was available. Also, alerted to this location for pickup the night before when I had intentionally picked location near my house.
Hakan KOnly two employees. Evidently some people quit recently and were not replaced. The two there did their best. They were simply overwhelmed by the end of the month crowd. Equipment and location are fine. Please take care of staffing. Never seen anything like it was Saturday when I returned the trailer at 8:00 AM
PAUL SThe line was insane and for a second day in a row your systems were down. The staff member Alex on site had a huge attitude and we went through the most ridiculous return process. This location he always been a bit of a challange but Griday and Saturday this week were nuts. You need more staff.

Hans NI was told I'd have additional item added to the bill, appliance dolly. Shockingly it was never added to the bill. Moving the freezer was not enjoyable.
DENNIS ROn recieving the 10’ truck the tire pressure light and alert at the odometer display was on. Went back in and told pressures had all been checked and the sensor just needed to be reset; told truck ok to take. Later passenger’s seat belt alarm was on consistently when passenger on the seat and properly buckled in. When getting in truck at the start of the rental smelt something like iron but thought maybe someone urinated next to the propane fill station next to where the truck was parked, but kept smelling it during the rental when not at the U-Haul store; mentioned it at the end of the rental during check in.
Michael HAfter drive the truck for 20 minutes and parked, the battery of the truck was dead and I had to find jump start to start the truck. I used 1/8 of gasoline and I decided to not fill it to avoid jump start one more time. So I returned the truck and let the staff know the situation. However, I still get charged a lot for the gasoline and didn't get any reimbursement about the bad experience.

CHRISTIAN KI could not use the app to self check out. It wouldn't take my uploaded pictures. Apparently this is a known issue. Not sure why Uhaul hasn't address it

Arthur LI would like the app to be improved. When I went to return the truck, I found it was very easy to accidentally throw away all progress in entering the details. On my second try I clicked on an example to show me how to take a picture of the location and when I tried to back out and take the pic, I ended up cancelled out of the entire process and I was not allowed to start over so I now have to dispute a massive bill
Zachary WThe car I rented today was in absolutely terrible condition. The handling was so bad that I almost got into a serious accident. The employees were honestly some of the worst people I have ever dealt with. They were completely unhelpful, rude from the very beginning, and acted like they were only working there because they had no choice. Their smirking and mocking attitudes made this one of the worst experiences I have ever had. I drove only 26 miles before returning the car because the handling was so unsafe that it was impossible to continue driving it. When I picked up the vehicle, I was clearly told that the gas tank was full and that I only needed to refill it to full when returning it. However, when I stopped to refill the gas, it took $46 worth of fuel, which makes absolutely no sense after driving only 26 miles. I requested another vehicle, but they told me I would have to wait about three hours before another car could be rented to me. Even worse, despite the fact that I had already paid for the first rental, they said they would charge me again for the replacement vehicle. I was extremely angry and could not understand why I should have to pay twice because of their unsafe car. The employees ignored me and looked at me with mocking expressions the entire time. This was an absolutely horrible experience, and I never want to go through something like this again. You are all scammers. I truly hope as many people as possible hear about my experience. And if anyone ever gets into an accident with the vehicle I drove today, please let me know — I will gladly be a witness.

REYNALD LI was told a 20 dollar fee to drop it off at the other location that was planned and they said ok and yet I got 20 dollars blues a 102.00 fee on top of that too. This was not clear and bs charges for a 30 dollar trailer rental

JOSEPH SThe attendance were ill informed on U-Haul’s policies Also, I had paid for a rental of a dolly, which was just not provided, they waited for me to bring this up just to inform you that they did not have a Dolly I could use. I pointed to an appliance dolly, and they told me that would just be more money. I feel like I lost faith in humanity after my experience at this store.
tyson hI was scolded for only filling to 7/8 when the tank was supposedly full. It was not. I took a picture. I did not forward it at the time since I was very late leaving after there was a mixup with dispatch (my van was given away and I had to wait 30 minutes for a re-dispatch). Anyway, I explained that although I filled the tank to full, and the pump shut off, the gauge only said 7/8. The clerk scolded me saying "next time we will charge you since you should have told us when you picked it up". My question, as a frequent good customer, is why didn't the attendant know the gauge read low on the previous dropoff? Not a great way to treat a long-time loyal customer.
DAVID KCheck the tire pressure before releasing vehicle. I had to ask a friend to bring my front right tire up from 27psi. Alert stayed on throughout my rental period because his little cigarette lighter powered unit was not adequate.

Darryl MI reserved a van but it was not available. I was told the van I had preserved had not yet been returned by the previous customer. I ended up having to drive a 10-ft truck, which was not what I had planned.

Robert MHire people that are willing to do their jobs. I made a reservation a week prior to my move, only to find out on the day of my move that the handtruck I reserved, was actually "first come, first served." No one told me that when I made the reservation. And then because I was on the phone calling Home Depot and other rental places trying to rent hand trucks and didn't answer my phone, the Northgate location moved my reservation to the 165th location -- who also COULD NOT fulfill my reservation. So then I had to drive 60 blocks further north than I had planned, and still had to rent hand trucks. I began my move 2 HOURS later than anticipated. But if that wasn't enough, I then essentially had to self-check myself in with my phone -- even though I was standing in your store supposedly being "helped" by one of your employees. WORST MOVE EVER! I will NEVER rent from U-Haul again.

Bailey kThe Uhaul app is the worst. I couldn't get the app to work to return the truck after hours. I tried the QR code on the truck and wall as well but had no luck. I had to call and wait on hold for a little bit. But... the gal that helped, walked me through it had the patience of a saint. She was super friendly and helpful (i'm not the best with technology). She deserves a raise. Your app deserves 0 stars. Please fix it!

John VThe center console of the truck I rented had some sticky stuff on it and it smelled of cigarettes. A little more cleaning detail would have been nice. But the staff were excellent and the experience overall was great, so I'd definitely rent a truck there again.

Stephen GHere’s a more polished and impactful version of your review: --- I had a very disappointing experience with U-Haul. Unfortunately, a significant portion of my furniture arrived damaged due to poor packing. My chairs are scratched, the bookshelf and nightstands are visibly damaged, and my dresser arrived with multiple holes—clearly not handled with proper care. In addition, my boxes were delivered four days later than expected, and communication throughout the process was extremely frustrating. I received conflicting information from different channels—automated emails continued to confirm the original delivery date, while customer service chats provided completely different timelines. It was nearly impossible to get a clear or reliable answer. Overall, this was a very poor experience. I would not recommend this service and would not use it again.

David HThe front desk guy was rude and disrespectful- Each time I tried to check out the small open trailer he would stop the process and let the next person with a reservation go before me - He did it at least 3 times- I was patient but annoyed- I wasted so much time I was late for my meeting. Even though my son checked the trailer at least 5 times prior with same and same everything still asking the same questions. I had to go get the truck manual to show the weight rating- Very disappointed
SALAH sTyler and his associate did an excellent job. Put screws back into chairs and put boxes where I needed them. I highly recommend Uhaul. Very impressed.
