The check in and check out process was annoying. Should have guessed when rental info said bring a well charged phone, that it was for basically partially self service, not with an attendent. You had to take a selfie, then photos of your license front and back. Photos of damage of all dents and damage of vehicle, and photos of all sides, check the vehicle number, haul your blankets and rental equipment to the vehicle which was on the farthest side of the lot. Submit all photos and comments through a link that was a bit tricky to upload on. Gone are the days of service, even for seniors. The truck was nice with comfortable seats and ac.

Well I "reserved" an appliance dolly through the website which they gave to the person in front of us who clearly did NOT make an online reservation but rather seemed to have shown up that morning and simply asked for one. Begs the question of what the point of a reservation is if they don't bother to reserve equipment. What if the last truck had gone out???? I ended up having to get a furniture dolly which turned out to be completely useless. That made my entire move MUCH more difficult.

Called to confirm they had a trailer . Was on hold for over 15 mins . So I drove over and went in . They did have a trailer . Started the rental nobody knew what they were doing took forever . Had to buy a ball as I forgot mine at home . Sold me one that didn’t fit , had to go back in and get the the right one . Then the trailer wiring didn’t match my truck , had to buy an adapter. Then it was time to go and a U-Haul employee in a large moving truck was in the way and didn’t know how to move the truck , he backed into the wall in front of the store and then pulled forward almost hitting other U-Haul equipment. Then waved me out . I barely made it out gave me virtually no room . The trailer worked great and I got done what I needed . I returned the trailer to a different location and they were great as usual. Been doing business with U-Haul for years and will continue to but wow that location needs help to say the least

It was a super busy Saturday evening, so we had to wait a bit. The staff had to have been tired after a long day, but they were friendly, efficient, and helpful not only to us, but to all customers. Way to go Shoreline Uhaul!

The general manager was exceptional- very helpful. I did find the limited space quite cramped for maneuvering a small trailer and tow vehicle.

The check engine light began flashing. I pulled over asap, but the light turned back off before I could come to a complete stop. This combined with a transmission that slipped, had me concerned we might have to change trucks (in the middle of our trip). We made it, but that check engine light coming on makes me not want to rent from Uhaul again. The truck had low miles on it too (~15,000 miles)(which makes the incident even stranger)).

The service was horrible. There was a long line and no communication from staff as to where we needed to stand if we had already reserved a truck and were just picking up. I waiting in line for a half hour only to be cut by someone who had also pre booked a truck. When I got to the front I couldn’t hear a word the guy was mumbling. No information about returns and what to do. The gas situation is a total scam which I guess is a company wide policy. Overall I’d give my experience two thumbs down. I’ll be going to Handy Andy next time for sure.

I hadn't towed a trailer for a while and an electrical component failed on my SUV. The Uhaul team here detected it, showed me what happened and was super flexible in helping to hold the trailer while I went and found a repair shop on a Friday afternoon to fix it. Small miracle - I found one - and returned to pick up the trailer. Thanks to the crew at Shoreline Uhaul.

I can't remember the name of the rep who checked me in (Jordan? Ryan?), but he was great and I wanted to make sure he received that recognition and appreciation. There were multiple missing keys that morning for the 15 foot vehicles I'd rented and the vehicles he did have keys for were blocked in by the ones he was unable to move. He kept his calm throughout trying to troubleshoot calling other locations, other employees, and checking in with me while he tried to find a solution. While doing so a line was forming and he was still able to maintain composure and be deliberate in his interactions. After what was maybe 15 or so minutes he was able to get a vehicle that originally was slated in the maintenance section out for me to take. The wait was a tad inconvenient, but I wanted to make sure to give him accolades for his approach and demeanor. He even then walked out to the vehicle with me and pulled it out to make sure it was clear of everything before I drove off. The date of my rental was Friday June 19th around 8:45 in the morning. -

To not make a customer feel like they're criminal. I've been doing business there for nearly 30 years.Checking in and checking out was long. And tedious not happy about that!

Make sure the correct key is given to the customer so an already wiped out person doesn't have to go back in and wait in line for the error to be corrected. If someone has begun to check a customer in, it is rude for another employee who left the front area abandoned to then butt in to take over.

Reorganize the vehicles on site to allow customer parking awaiting pick up or at minimum install signage for customers to know where to go on site when they enter the lot since there isn't any parking. We had to guess and got yelled at.

Pickup was great, Joel did a great job explaining everything. The equipment has a light that is out and has been a known issue but not corrected. Not a big deal for me as I only needed the equipment during the day for a few hours. Return was atrocious. When I arrived there was an employee who literally just walked away from equipment return back into the store.. great way to welcome someone back… walked into the store where 3 additional employees were standing yet not one offered assistance. So I said I need to return equipment and they said the gentleman who walked away would help. As soon as he walked out the door he blurts out “thanks I was already off and now I have to get your trailer off.” My 3 stars are as follows 5 stars to Joel and 1 to the return crew. Averages a 2.5.

It was great they helped hook up the trailer etc. I am new to the area so did not know how the app worked when picking up the equipment. Two things could have made better: 1. explain what i was supposed to do on picking up the equipment in the app with pictures etc. 2. I know not prob. her job, but the main manager was in and about while there was a long line and no one said anything to me - the customer. I think they were talking to each other but ignoring us. If it was me and I have been in certain positions dealing with people, I would have said that we will be with you in a minute etc. Something rather than nothing, that's all. thanks

Truck was not even water “resistant” soaked many boxes. Charged me for 6 gallons of gas and after hours service fees, even though I dropped it off with a lot attendant. Doubled the cost!

The person helping me was more interested in taking his break and talking to co-workers than helping me. I was asked to take a photo of myself and my driver's license. The app did not work. I have used this location in the past and the service was excellent. It has really gone down hill.

Truck smelled of nothing but smoke, no other vehicle was available. Also, alerted to this location for pickup the night before when I had intentionally picked location near my house.

Only two employees. Evidently some people quit recently and were not replaced. The two there did their best. They were simply overwhelmed by the end of the month crowd. Equipment and location are fine. Please take care of staffing. Never seen anything like it was Saturday when I returned the trailer at 8:00 AM

The line was insane and for a second day in a row your systems were down. The staff member Alex on site had a huge attitude and we went through the most ridiculous return process. This location he always been a bit of a challange but Griday and Saturday this week were nuts. You need more staff.

I was told I'd have additional item added to the bill, appliance dolly. Shockingly it was never added to the bill. Moving the freezer was not enjoyable.

We did not visit the store directly (answered "yes" to ?s) - but our UBox was delivered and picked up by this store. Drivers were awesome and very friendly - excellent maneuvering by the way! Thanks.
