I was charged for a second trip when the customer service rep/operator(Dajja) specifically said that I wouldn't be becuz I was at my house/apt on 150th and 15th in shoreline. Unloading a Full truck by myself at 53 years old, and I was close to the time of return. Plus, the uhaul call center had me on hold for over 30 minutes. This is unfair,liable,disrespectful, intimidating,fraud,and some more.the mileage overage came from having to drive to 192nd then back home, then back to the storage(192nd) then home, then QFC 145th 15th to get gas(during rush hour)then to 165th and Aurora to return the truck.Yes, I called and asked for multiple extensions, but im53 yes old moving a two bedroom apt by myself. Don't I deserve a break in some form or fashion?

The checkout process for a trailer, for existing customers, seems unnecessarily long and complicated. However, the customer service rep was knowledgeable and friendly, the equipment was in excellent condition, and overall still a 5-star experience.

everything was perfect except when returning the truck, the customer care attendants need to talk more, to verbally communicate with the customer, to let the customer know you're all done instead of just taking the keys from you, checking out the truck and walking away. Pretend you known each other for years and don't be so shy, that's customer service.

For customers that opt to check in virtually, it would be great if in the initial confirmation rental email that it states that it could take 5-10 mins to check in on the website (or if there was a statement like that in the email, maybe make it more obvious?). Make sure the equipment (cargo trailers) is cleaned out so that I don't need to clean it out before I use it. Also wash the outside so that I'm not having to wash it before I return it to make sure I'm not charged a cleaning fee when I didn't even get it dirty.

Very understaffed. Only 3 people to handle a line out the door. The staff handled it with grace & efficiency. They deserve a raise.

The staff was overwhelmed. I had rented a trailer in Boise for a one-way move and needed to rent a furniture dolly in Shoreline. I went in and there was a line more than 6 deep. It took me almost an hour to get through the line only to find out they didn't have one. The young gentleman that was helping me told me he would go take a look and was able to find one. Other than that I found all of the employees moved at a slow pace and with no sense of urgency. Later in the day when I went to drop the trailer off someone came out and just unhooked the trailer and walked away. I wasn't sure what I needed to do so I got out of the vehicle and walked over to him where he was working on something else and asked what else I needed to do. He said nope, you're done. I had left the furniture mover in the back of the trailer so I went ahead and went in to the office just to make sure they had that returned. Overall it was just a lackluster experience.

Had a reservation for 9am. Got in line at 8:55. Got my truck at 10:30. In what reality is that acceptable? Also, the oil warning light was beeping at me starting when I left the parking lot. After 1.5 hours waiting in line, I did not want to take the truck back.

The van I got was dirty. The inside was grimy, but it appeared the only thing done was blow out debris. I was charged an after hours fee when I was told there would be none.

Items that were guaranteed were not available. Took an hour to get my vehicle even though i had checked in on line the night before. it was taking the employees about 20 min or so to get people their vehicles. For such a large facility they only had two people taking care of customers as compared to places like on 85th in Kirkland which is much smaller and they had 4 people taking care of customers but only have smaller trucks

-Out of gas- low fuel warning on pick up. -Smelled like cigarettes' bad -Check engine light was on and it was a MAF from a recently stolen CAT converter (bad gas mileage) I spent $140 on gas for a 90~ mile trip. That's WAY too much even with high gas rates. -Flashing “CHECK GAS CAP” which was from a failed tank vent causing very strong gas smell in the cabin. I felt inebriated at one point when I was in bad traffic (no wind). -Found out the truck was recently stolen probably reason for crazy strong cigarette smell. Manager really rude about keys which got accidentally locked into the truck (there employee told me to lock them inside which makes more sense than leaving a vehicle unlocked with keys inside in that part of town.Insinuating as if I need to call a lock smith when he had a spare set of keys. Didn't look to see if I had roadside assistance which I had as well. Had to drive back to pick up extra packing blankets (my fault) but made a comment like “ no charge” like he was doing me a favor. Mike at aurora did me no favors and neither did U-Hhaul. I use rentals all the time for work (commercial construction) and sadly this has me feel like I cannot use the trucks anymore. What if I sent one of my employees in that truck?

when I got the location I was handed a very old truck and also after returning the truck I was charged $20 dropoff fee, which i was not told anything about and I have rented uhaul in the past multiple times and never been charged. $20 , this is just bad customer service and loosing customers on bad practices

Clean the windows inside and out, wipe down the dash and seats and CLEAN OUT THE ASHTRAYS!! Also, make sure the air vents are working.

One employee blocked the entrance driveway for 7 or 8 minutes while installing a hitch and trailer, even though there was ample room in the lot to do that procedure without blocking the entryway. The employee who checked me out and back in again (not the driveway blocker) was friendly and efficient - much appreciated.

Had a horrible experience here, waited in a long line. Location had an employee by the name of Kevin filling in from their Kenmore store, he was an absolute nightmare! While I was there he was rude to about 5 customers, and people were lining up to complain about him. He had zero customer service and seemed to enjoy yelling and arguing with customers over nothing. He even had the nerve to tell me that he was gonna report the van stolen if I took it off the lot after he got into a disagreement with me, too bad I had already paid for the van by that point (and it would have been filing a false police report). To make matters worse I was charged for gas when I returned the van, after I had stopped at the gas station before I returned it. Went back to the store to get a refund for the gas I was charged and they claimed they didn't know how to refund. Staff claimed that they messaged the general manager and that they should contact me. I have heard absolutely nothing, and have yet to even receive my gas refund!

Everything went well with my online reservation, pick up, and return. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Only suggestion is to provide a parking spot for pick up and drop off of drivers/renters. It was disconcerting to have staff yell at the driver of my ride to the store.

Ive had the best Ux here then any other Uhaul location; however, the truck I received this time around had unmarked damage, the cab wreaked like cigarette smoke, and the front left tire pressure was low which triggered the dash indicator.

The physical location was fine. I was not satisfied with the experience of working with out customer service rep. I had made a reservation for 8:30am and wasn't able to get to the facility until around 12:30pm. Yes, very late. We learned that the truck we reserved had been released to another customer without us being notified. Annoying, and frustrating. But I was mostly struck by how the customer service representative who helped me made me feel like the “bad guy” and lacked empathy for my situation. When I asked why we didn't get a call before the truck was released she was defensive and dismissive of me. It wasn't a good feeling as a customer or as a person. It was clear to me that she was not in a head space to provide empathetic customer connections so I just endured the experience of checking out another (smaller) truck and got out of there. This has given me pause on what used to be an automatic assumption that I would use u haul for my moving needs.

The staff there was outstanding! I had issues with a towing fuse on my truck, and the guy working with me tried everything to help solve the problem. The manager even came over and did a test on the four pin plug to show me it was in the truck and not the trailer. Excellent service!

The fuel level was nearly 0 when I picked it up. The staff at the counter promised me $40 off if I can get a quarter of gas. And I did, there's only $28 off my charge and I paid way more than that. When I called customer support, the recipient was extremely rude and aggressive. I asked to transfer me to this branch and I was put on hold forever until I decided not to wait anymore. False promise, poor service.

There were also three other facilities involved in this truck rental fiasco. Your reservation, rental, availabilty and customer servise should be considered an embarassment tou your name. after the rubn around between settling the reservation with two other facilities the place we actually got the truck from messed up the paperwork and the charges. Then told me the printer was down and couldn't give me a receipt. now my email receipts are so scramble I'm not sure what you actually charged me. Your corp has major issues with communication and booking as well as customer relations and respect. after conversations with Seattle, lynnwood, shoreline, alderwood and a second store in lynnwood we finally got the truck, then we your people started clling to get the truck back because the paperwork was not done correctly on your end. major systemic problems with these guys....

I waited 50 minutes in line, they were severely understaffed. One person only at the counter. The person at the counter was very nice. When I returned the vehicle, the app picture didn't work (to take pic of odometer). No where did it say what type of browser was needed, got it to finally go on my wife's phone on Chrome. Overall the customer service and return process was absolutely abysmal.
