Unbelievably unorganized and understaffed, WORST SO CALLED mechanic who couldn't even read a fuse panel. My 19 yr old daughter told him what fuse we needed for trailer lights. She fixed it. 1 1/2 hour wait in line for a reservation. Will never rent again!Sally G.
Whoever checked me in, did a piss poor job, he had to run into the back shop several times to get answers to basic questions that I asked, he has an attitude like he hated being at his job and wanted everyone to know. My van was not pulled up front, so I had to jockey it around the rest of the fleet-not an enjoyable experience. There were other uhaul employees on the lot during this time but no one came to assist. When I got the van onto the highway I noticed a strong odor of wet dog. When I got the van to my home I got a chance to take a real look at the inside and it was beyond filthy. The steering wheel felt like whoever was driving it last ate a bunch of cotton candy-it was sticky and took a few seperate cleanings to feel halfway clean. There was dried mud and dog hair all over the cab, garbage underneath both seats and the dash and cup holders looked like sodas and coffee had been spilled and dried on them. The windshield had a layer of filth on it with more dog hair. It took me over an hour to clean this disaster up. I didn't have thatbhour to give as we were on a tight moving schedule, but it was absolutely necessary to do. This was a huge inconvenience, and honestly an embarrassment as I had a rider with me. We had an issue with my uhaul trailer hitch not having a place to attach the trailer chains. The mechanic worked with the manager and the sales rep to figure out a work around. The location is incredibly busy! It took an hour to pick up our truck. Also we reserved a 20 foot truck two weeks before our move and the night before our move we got a call from uhaul saying all they had was a 10 foot truck. If we had known this we would have reserved a bigger truck somewhere else. It took us 3 trips to move everything! Exhausting. I will look for other options before choosing Uhaul again.Myriah R.

There has been an extra day tackled on my bill. I was told to drop it after hours since you are closed at the time I was to return it. There is an unauthorized fee for $20 on top of an extra day. Would like these refunded.Leopoldo V.
Very poor service. Chaotic 15 person deep line to pick up the rental. Waited 45 minutes in line for the rental. Truck was given to us with less than 1/4 tank when it was represented as 1/2 tank. This was reported on the online check in system but bill still shows a $28.00 fuel charge. Online rental rate represented was approximately $140 for ten hours including a dolly and blankets. Accrued charges on the bill were $250. No rental rate was represented as a "per rental period" charge. In spite of returning the truck same day within business hours (original reservation was for 10 hour, returned within 6) bill still represents 2 rental periods. I need a refund of the fuel charge as well as the extra rental periods for the dolly and blankets. This is terrible business.Adam D.

This location is a nightmare!! We had reservations and checked in online at 11:00 this morning. We arrived at 10:55 to stand in line for 1 hour and 15 minutes. There were only two guys working the front desk. Neither has any sense of urgency or speed. The line was out the door. Every time they helped someone they had to walk the customer out to the truck while there were other workers out with the trucks not doing anything. Your manager was one of the guys checking in reservations and every time he left the desk with a customer he took his vape with him and smoked while he was outside. Completely unacceptable. We brought the truck back at 6pm and there was a line again that we waited in for over 15 minutes while no movement. One guy working at the counter and no other employees to be found. We ended up dropping off the keys and leaving but we needed a receipt for reimbursement. You need to completely revamp the management of this location. And your current manager should be fired for the way he is running this location. We will NEVER use your location againHEATHER K.
Waited 2 hours in line for rental. Then, once getting the box truck, the one I was given had a major dent to the frame and door on the drivers side-making it so that the door did not close all the way, and in addition had the check engine light on and the engine sounded terrible.SOPHIA Y.

THE ONLINE CHECK-IN PROCESS WAS TERRIBLE. WHO CARRIES A PASSPORT AND SIGNED LEASE TO SCAN IN THE PARKING LOT AT 7AM. I submitted personal references and the application was still asking for more. THIS AFTER I HAD JUST RENTED A TRAILER THREE WEEKS EARLIER WITH NOT PROBLEMS. The overall process just was terrible. After a 30 minutes of wrestling with the app, I ended up starting renting from the counter. After an hour at the store, I finally was able to get moving... of course, I was also paying for movers by that time. Aside from the truck being covered in ashes inside, the truck was decent. HORRIBLE return experience overall. Drove to Kirkland to return initially; told they don't accept trailers but directed me to Kenmore. Kenmore was full and wouldn't take trailer so sent me to Shoreline. Took me over 75 minutes total just to return equipment. Shoreline parking lot was a mess and very difficult to navigate. This location tends to be busier than most. there are not enough employees to do all that is needed/ It becomes hard for you to check out a truck in the time that you need. Even if you have done all of the prior paperwork online. If I had not checked in the vehicle online it would've taken at least 30-45 minutes to wait in line.JOSHUA P.

I returned the truck at 8:30pm on 6/12/21. The website wasn't working for me so I just dropped the key in the box. I called twice on the 13th twice to make sure everything was okay. Each time I was on hold for 20mins before I hung up. I tried again on the 14th and was again on hold for 20mins. I finally hung up and sent an email to email@example.com. I have yet to hear back. I would like to have the $20 convenience charge for just dropping off the key waived for this inconvenience.Stanley C.

The problems experienced had nothing to do with the staff and everything to do with the computer transactions. When I was trying to pay on-line, I also added insurance protection. The system not only added the insurance amount to the new total but also raised the original rental price. (It sounded like the customer in the next cubicle was experiencing the same frustrations). I went to the store to solve this problem, and low and behold: the computer system changed the pick-up and drop off dates and the employees could not change it!!! The employees and truck were great, but the computer system and the sly way it is programed to raise prices leaves something to be desired.Robin F.

The online reservation system asks if you need extras - blankets, dollies, etc. I requested six blankets and a dolly, which after I picked up the truck, appear to be standard equipment in the truck I rented. So it appears I paid for something that I would have had access to anyway. In addition, there were only four blankets in the truck, when I needed six, which was frustrating for me in my move.Mary M.

When I picked up the truck it had been packed and into a nest of trucks. Wasn't difficult to get out however. I had ordered a half a dozen moving blankets and that was verified with the attendant. However when I got to my destinations 40 miles away there were no blankets with the equipment. I was charged for it and it was verified by the attendant at site but I was not informed that I had to pick them up or that they weren't on board the rig. I was charged for them. So I was not happy with that. There was a cursory cleaning, but there were Still obvious places where things have been spilled in the cabin and not wiped down. The rental pick up went smoothly except for the fact that the things I had ordered were not there.ANNA T.

It would've been much appreciated if the 17' truck I reserved was available. I end up using a larger truck that made our move less optimal for due to small driveway length. The whole $50 cash if your truck isn't available is bait and switch marketing as that's apparently dependent on NO available trucks available. When I picked up the truck I was told it had a full tank of gas. It did not and I took a screenshot of it. I only put 7 miles on it and after I returned it, I was charged an additional $10 fuel charge in addition to the per mile charge. It took me 40 minutes to dispute the charge with photo proof before I was able to get my $10 refunded. Please train your employees so they don't lie about how full the gas tank is and then pass that charge onto customers. Will never return to this location again.MICHAEL C.

That person had to spend much of his time outside the building leaving all the sale items and cash register unsupervised. There were a lot of UHaul trucks/trailers being returned to this site after hours, so it was a bit chaotic figuring out where to park the Haul.Bryce and Gary W.
Understandably Uhaul is busy Memorial Day weekend. Why Uhaul would let dozens of people rent within the same time slots from one location with only two people on POS is less understandable. My pickup time was 10:30am, I arrived 10:15am, and due to the line stretching to the end of the lot I did not pick up my rental until 11:45am. If logistically it is not possible to process X amount of people within 15 minutes then there should not be an option for Uhaul to overload their staff and manager just to rake in as much cash as they can grab in a single weekend. This is not the stores fault but a blatant disregard by the company for their employees and customers.CHLOE H.
