BRIAN BI came in with a bad attitude, but your staff was fantastic in dealing with this jerk(me). They were very calm and professional. In the end, we had a very good transaction. The vehicle was clean and did exactly what I needed to use it for without any issues. No excuse, but times are a little rough for me right now and I made it clear with the young lady that my behavior was unacceptable and throughout the whole deal, she maintained a calm attitude in dealing with me and did soi with a smile. JAY LAs I was returning my rental and tow hitch for my car, the Assistant Manager came out and yelled out me and said I was not allowed to unload my own vehicle from the tow. She said I had to backup into a main street and block oncoming traffic and risk my car that was being towed getting hit, and go all the way around the corner to a different entrance. She did not offer any help, did not offer to back me up, did not listen to why I could not back up, etc. And then started yelling at vacant vehicles that were parked waiting to be returned which was really odd. I decided to ignore the AM as she was no help, as I was unloading my vehicle another gentleman came out and said that he is going to have to ask me to stop unloading my vehicle. I said I cannot back my trailer into oncoming traffic as I would be blocking a lot of traffic. He said that I should "stop crying" about it. I asked for the district manager's phone number to report this extremely poor service and they gave me the number to their own location. These folks are obviously afraid to give out their district manager's phone number, hmmmm, I wonder why. I want to say this has been the poorest service I have received but I cannot even say that because no service was offered at all I literally did everything on my own while getting yelled out by multiple folks. I wanted to confront the AM after all this nonsense and asked a few employees where she was but they all said they don't know, so I guess she went into hiding. Worst experience I have encountered in a business in a long long time.
CHRISTOPHER MPersonnel were helpful but they took 20 minutes to get to us, all that has to be done is a drop off so I don’t know why it would take that long.

ALAN SThe manager at this location installed the incorrect stinger and ball resulting in dysfunction to the vehicle, needing to go to a different Uhaul due to the bowing that was happening, having to buy an entire new stinger and ball. I would not recommend this location.
HALEY AThe renting prossess was completely different from the last time I rented a truck. (3 or 4 Years ago.) The rental associate was very calm, kind and helpful showing me how to how to navigate each part of the prossess.

BENJAMIN KCheck-in service was good as was return service. Using the web for recording condition of vehicle is ok. I'd prefer to have a person with me to look over the vehicle but I understand the cost savings. You do miss out on the personal instruction from a customer service rep on how to use the truck which is very disappointing. I have used trucks before so this was not an issue for me but I can imagine for someone using the truck for the first time it would be incredibly stressful.

FREDRICK NExceptionally poor customer service. The staff were disorganized and very obviously disinterested in being helpful. Picking up the trailer was a difficult and frustrating experience. Staff were rude and unhelpful. Returning the tailer was even more frustrating. After waiting in line inside to return the trailer I rented, I was told to go outside to wait for someone to help. Despite asking for assistance, I was ignored while staff waited on several other customers who arrived AFTER I had been waiting for help. I've rented trailers every summer from U Haul for years and have never previously had a genuinely negative experience like I had this time. The staff at this location are horrible.

THAI TWhen you return the vehicle, you have to do bunch of work like turn the left right turn signals, etc. They have a few workers, it’s not busy, why you need customers to do these ?
Qun LLet the customer know at least 24 hours in advance of a location change. U-Haul costed me an Uber ride when I was planning to pick up the vehicle using public transit. Instead, the location was switched to a location in Shoreline, which is very inaccessible through public transit unless you live in that area. Unacceptable and poor customer service.

TERRY CThe car tire was underinflated, which we only realized after driving on the highway. We had to stop and pay out of our own pocket to inflate the tire before continuing our trip. After returning the car and informing your staff member about the issue, he showed no reaction at all and did not care to apologize or offer any compensation for the time we lost.
MOHAMMAD BThere was an area labeled drop off and signage to remain in the rental until staff were available to assist. I waited for 10 minutes for someone to come over and check the rental back in, despite several people standing around talking in the parking lot area. I was asked about the dolly return and I stated there hadn't been a dolly at pick up, but the charges were not cancelled. I had to email to have the dolly fee reversed. Over all the drop off was better than the pick up, but staff at both locations seemed busy/disinterested in providing service.
BREEZI Gvery antiquated process...slow, poor, slow service.
MURRAY KI set up my rental a month in advance at the Kirkland U-Haul, which is where I planned to pick it up. Yes they said it might not be at that location when I made the reservation. Today I planned to pick up the trailer from that location at 9:00. At 8:30 I received a text saying my location would be at shoreline which added an extra hour and a half to a very long stressful day. I don’t have a complaint about a location in particular but the way the company handles business as a whole. I’m just not convinced anyone actually made any effort to have my specific trailer request at that location, I feel like it was more of a “it might be here”. I’m also positive it could have been determined at least 24 hours earlier in order to give me proper notice and adjust my schedule. The whole experience left me feeling like you really don’t care about my experience, just my money
JOSHUA RI rented a car trailer. I asked the person who hooked it up to review how it worked. She told me she had no idea and that they were not allowed to help customers. She suggested I search online to see if I could find a YouTube video. I could figure it our myself, but this was not the response I expected.

Christina Hi had a reservation for a pickup truck at 12noon and had scanned my driver Licence and fill out the information online for an expedited service. I had to wait in line until pass 1pm for my turn iwith only one attendance and 3 people ahead of me in line. I will never again use UHaul.
Ramesh NDon't change the location of their rental to be a location that is much further from the destination incurring milage charges that otherwise would have been cheaper.
James WShawna was the only one with enough customer service experience and knowledge about the lease agreement to be able to help us and the younger employees were not only unable to help me but constantly relied on Shawna to fill-in what they didn’t know this made the whole process extremely difficult And frustrating

BRENT CMy only concern is the young attendant had no idea how to LOCK the tow dolly to my receiver ball after it was connected. There appeared to be a locking hole in the mechanism to secure it to the tow vehicle to prevent theft for long hauls, but he was completely unaware of how to use this. I made a homemade 'cotter key' that was large enough to secure the dolly to the receiver using this hole.

Valiant VCustomer service agent was great, very busy inside. Did not appear to have manager on sight. Was not informed about the gas mileage chart that says how much I should fuel the truck up. Picked up with a quarter tank and left it with 3/4 of a tank total waste of money on fuel that I didn’t even get to use.

KENNETH OIt is on a busy intersection and the employee helping me was looking down at his device (official device) and talked in a low voice. After I said, "what" over and over I would have thought he would get a clue. He did not. He was pleasant and professional but needs to communicate better.
JOSEPH HThe woman at the counter was Excellent. The website has some problems. It showed the store opening at 6 AM and no pickups available but the store opened at 7 AM and there was a pickup. The website is also irritating if all you want to do is rent a truck and not buy all sorts of stuff and get conned into roadside assistance. The man that checked the truck back in was a bit off. Instead of just looking for damage and noting mileage and gas, he walked around the truck beating the tires with a stick; asked me to operate the brake and turn signals and spent the longest time looking at gauges and pretending to study them.
STEPHEN MWe were charged a nearly 90$ fee out of nowhere. When I called this location the lady who answered the phone immediately became accusatory saying that there were cigarette butts left in the vehicle. This made me think of the lighter we found left in the vehicle upon arrival. That being said I thoroughly checked the vehicle before locking it up and made sure that it was free of garbage, even removing the items that were not mine just to avoid being blamed for anything. I told her that I do not smoke and no one that helped me move were smokers. There were at least five people as witness that no cigarettes were taken near this vehicle. She then changed her story that there were ashes on the floorboards and it smelled like smoke. I explained the state that the truck was in when I picked it up and how it looked like no one had checked on it between families but she stayed adamant that I was at fault for this. She said that I needed to report this when I entered the vehicle but the gas station attendant didn’t seem to be the person in charge of cleaning the vehicle and nowhere on the website did it prompt me for pictures of the interior so I was at a loss for what to do in this situation. Seeing that this conversation was going nowhere I decided to end the call. I will not be returning to use Uhaul services if I am going to be blamed for the company’s lack of attention to their own products and services. This seemed like a quick way to charge people in an already vulnerable situation. I will not be recommending uhaul to anyone going forward
Janet MThe staff was great. The vehicle was great although it took me a minute to figure out the electronics. And it was very affordable. It was a short but critical rental and the easy rental really helped.

NATHANIEL BI ended up doing most of the work packing, and coordinating. The movers could have brought two pods but they only had one when they arrived, and then wasted two hours getting the second one and bringing it back. Meanwhile , they left numerous boxes in the lobby of my condo complex while I was waiting for them to return. Then, worst of all, they couldn't fit all my items in the second pod. So I had a bike, a vase, a small step ladder a vacuum cleaner and a box of expensive dress shirts held back. It seems to me that had they packed things correctly, they would have had enough room. Now I cancelled my flight to my new residence and instead, am renting a car so I can bring the remaining items with me.
Mark RWhen I was returning the vehicle I was directed to park in a line of trucks. After parking nobody came to check me out, I went inside and they told me to go back out and wait for someone to come over. While wating they were assisting other customers that had pulled in after me. I was sitting there for 30 minutes waiting and watching other vehicles get checked in before me. The staff seems to have a non-chalant attitude not really interested in helping customers. Poor customer service!
GLEN QDue to mileage charges cost was close to 2x what I was expecting. Had to ark my car on street which did not feel safe.

NAJAM SWhen I returned the truck, I was asked to assist the rep checking the truck in, (first time ever requested), to check brake lights, turn signals, headlights, etc. Have always known it to be done by staff, (there were plenty on hand at time of return)…the key in the lock box was jammed a bit, got it out after poking around in the lock box a bit…the truck drove, worked really well, app was easy to use…I would rent from this location again…

JOHN HCompletely rushed check out, changed reservation name without telling me, tried calling and he kept trying to end the call saying he’d see me when I get there. made us pay with a different card even though I had one on file that I told them to use. Totally screwed over my partner who was picking it up for us, and there was nothing they could/would do about it, extremely disappointing

robin wPricing was ridiculous, I agreed to a price that included miles, then it expired and I was forced to pay for every mile, costing me over $1,000 when including the price of fuel. Steering wheel wasn't centered, brakes are mushy, fuel economy was atrocious, less than 8 miles per gallon when empty.
KYLE CTHe local scheduler changed my drop off location to about 45 mionutes away and I had to argue with him to get the closer one back
Walter MVery chaotic during pick up. Felt rushed to get pictures and then app wouldn’t work. Small parking lot and difficult to maneuver as other vehicles are also getting hooked up.

KEVIN LWaited in line for a really long time. When using the app it advertises speedy check out. Nope. You still have to wait in line to talk to someone to get you the keys even when it says go to the counter, they tell you to wait cause they're with a customer. When i returned the truck, the guy who was helping me was in a bad mood and said "my manager is being a B". So this location has issues.
Jesse AWould recommend with hesitation - the computers were down at our location so they were doing their best. However, it took the staff a while to tell people to do the mobile check in. Since the computers were down, my authorized drivers did not sync up with the system at the store, so we had to re-enroll them both. When returning the truck, Joel was kind to work with and made the return process easy!
BEE BIt is said that there’s always room for improvement, but the experiences I’ve had here have always been positive ones. The employees are always friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable.

TEDROS KAbsolutely terrible experience. $91 for 3 hours of pickup truck "rental". When I booked the reservation, I thought I would have the truck for the day. "$19.95 per day" - B.S. They only had 2 people inside helping customers and a line out the door. I had to wait over 1/2 an hour just to get my truck. Then they said I could only have the truck until 2pm, WTF? Then they made me take pictures and upload them U-Haul's website to show the condition of the truck,. First set of pics uploading failed and I had to restart the process. Another 1/2 hour wasted and I hadn't even gotten off the lot. The truck was dented six ways from Sunday and dirty when I picked it up. They had the nerve to tack on a $25 cleaning fee in the end! What a waste of time & money! Once we returned the truck we tried to talk to the manager, she just said we could rent another vehicle for full price, no breaks, no discounts, no empathy. Just, go pound sand, in other words. Do yourself a favor and rent a vehicle elsewhere! Never again! Would give 0 stars if it were an option.
