Was told to back it up over there - then when I tried to - he said no over there (small spot) I told him he would have to do it. He also said I needed to put a lot more gas in than I did - I pointed out it was just under half a tank - not under a full tank - he then said oh ya you are right. Then on a one way trip that was recommended to me by UHaul because they didn't have the rental available when I booked it (two days later they called and said not available) - recommended the one way fromSt Mary's to Stratford to Bothwell - said there was no mileage charge - I confirmed that it was no mileage. Then upon drop off just before 3 (we had to rush because we lost 45 minutes off the rental because of the lock not working.) he tells me there is a mileage overaged of 16. I argued that there shouldnet be - was promised no mileage charge - from the location they recommended - out of my way - he said nothing he could do about it - so then he processed on my credit card the extra and its 18.80 instead of 16.00 - I said what about the 16.00 and he said oh there was tax. that tax doesn't work out right at 13 percent. I feel like Uhaul mislead me from the beginning - at pickup and definitely at drop off. I feel like I was ripped off in Bothwell for sure. This rental cost me a lot more than I had originally been led to believe. I will avoid uhaul in the future and tell anyone who will listen the treatment we received.

MICHEL RI am very disappointed the fact that I had to pay additional $55 plus tax because they said I went over . In my contract I was allowed 297 kilometres and when you do the math the amount of kilometres I used it was only 240. But now the agent told me the odometer reading on the truck was in miles. No one told me anything about miles and kilometres. I will never again rent at U-Haul or would ever recommend anyone. Your company is misleading and you rob consumers. This is not fair how I had to pay extra. It’s not the $55 plus tax I’m upset about the principal. Your agents needs to explain to the consumers about this mishap. Overall your company is awful and takes advantage of. No one offer to waive that fee . Terrible terrible service!!!!!! Your not the only moving company remember that !!!!!!

mike kWhen picking up the Uhaul the attendent was professional, nice and helpful. However, when I returned the Uhaul, the attendant was very rude, unprofessional and ignorant. I would not rent from here again for that reason alone and this was my second time coming to this location.

JUDITH FHave trucks in London for your London customers! rather than force them to burn up fuel on a 56 km drive to get the truck, burn up fuel driving 56kms back, then having them make a 56km drive back to get their own vehicle and drive 56km home! That's 224km extra I was forced to drive that week end and got a single 50km credit, nothing for all that extra fuel! My time driving there and back, my friends fuel driving me there and her 56km trip back! And all I got from uhaul was a very insincere sorry, sucks to be you was more how it felt!
Michael RThis location was fine fine but too far from home. We didn’t choose this spot for pickup. We were to pick up in Strathroy which is half an hour from home and they didn’t have a trailer for us. Sent another 20 minutes further. Very frustrating.

Martin SAt the first location my truck was somehow double booked. App let me book 24/7 pickup, arrived to missing truck, app indicated it would be hand off when location was open. App quoted time was before i had even booked it and the location was closed. Possibly uhaul needs someone good with software to overhaul their booking system.

Krystal DThe issue I had with the truck was no fault of this location.
dawn mUpon pick up the lady working had to call the owner and be walked through the steps to release the truck. She insisted she needed pictures on her phone of our credit card which we did not feel comfortable doing at all. We found a tube up under the steering column with a half smoked joint in it. After driving the truck for over 2 hours. Thank god we weren’t pulled over and that it wasn’t found in our possession.
