The worst customer service i have ever received. The service center provided absolutely zero help with moving the trailer or hooking it up. Thank goodness I had my son with me to do that i could have never done that myself. We were treated very poorly in my opinion.
KELLIANNE NIt’s a really good thing we knew how to backup with a trailer attached. Leaving the lot and returning to the lot was very difficult….lot was all junked up with vehicles. Made it virtually impossible to get the trailer out and in. We will never use this lot again.

Steve sThe truck was not clean. The front drivers side tire was low. Guy told us at rental pick up that it was no big deal. Yet driving the truck pulled the entire time. The front light on truck was out Glad we rented during the day and not at dark.
Steven WPick up in south hill on 1-18-24 the location there was perfect.Drop off the same night at Unique they didn’t close my account until 1-23-24 had keep calling nobody answer had keep calling U-Haul the service there sucks..It been over a week didn’t get my deposit back yet..

Dwight WThe first problem with this location was the lot. It was small, dirty and PACKED with cars I didn’t even know where to go with my trailer. Luckily I know how to drive my car or it would have been a huge problem getting out. The second issue was the service. The man seemed annoyed when I first walked in for help, which as a female I get a lot. He then told me to expect a confirmation receipt by the end of the day. I got nothing so I called the next morning to request it. He didn’t let me speak as he was just talking over me. When I did get to speak he told me I was rude. He said he was handling another U-Haul person and I said he should have finished mine first before taking on other customers. U-Haul actually called him numerous times the night I dropped it off and he said he was doing it then - he clearly wasn’t. I then got charged an extra day because of him which is what I was calling to try to avoid in the first place. Overall he was very rude, made the experience stressful and then when I acted accordingly he called me rude. I would NOT recommend this location to anyone, ever as it is just him who works there and he is not efficient at his job - also poor customer service. If I could rate my experience here negatively I would. HOWEVER everyone from U-Haul who helped me with him and this location were perfect! They all deserve praise bc I was stressed and they have eased every worry and even refunded the extra day fee.

Thomas WWhen returning to Lumberton nc I was told that I would be charged $ 850. Not the $ 129 that my bill stated and it stated one way on the top . Had to call the 1800 number to get a address of were to return unit the next day . Same place different person great experience.
Thomas BThe truck had no gas also no brakes; plus we were told warning lights would go out, but didn't. Truck was not clean, no paperwork of contract(hand written-vage was given instead). Trying to drop-off truck was made difficult. Trying to use online app would not allow pass frist page without password (was not told to set-up password in advance. ) Told we would get discount when we dropped off truck. Not happy with Uhaul.

kEN KWe couldn’t pick it up before 10am even though the business opened at 9am. When we arrived at 1013 am - there was no one in the office to complete the paperwork because he was out towing a vehicle. When he finally arrived he was more concerned about unload the vehicle he towed - and he was parked directly in front of the trailer we needed. They offered no assistance at all with moving other vehicles that’s blocked us to getting to the trailer. Once we finally got hooked up and checked the trailer lights and looked for damage we couldn’t leave because we were blocked in by the tow truck. The trailer has leaves and sticks all in and around it and it’s was wedged between 2 other vehicles. The staff was unfriendly and unhelpful. I will be renting again in a few weeks but NEVER EVER again from this place.

Edward LThere was no U-Haul rep present when I arrived at the scheduled time. The person present was rude and nonchalant about the matter. I had to wait around for 20 minutes causing me to be behind in my schedule in an already stressful situation.
michael bMake sure that when you reserve a trailer or truck that is is available at a site closer to were you live, not having to go into another state or drive 40 miles to get.it. U-haul needs to do a better job at this.

Robert HReturn of truck was horrible!! Location was very muddy. Also, we took required pictures and saved them on the phone, returned the key and on the app, you CANNOT upload the pictures from the picture file because they have to be done live. We'd already locked up the truck and returned the keys. Waiting for customer support on the phone took forever!! It's a good thing we came 1 hour before the required turn in time because it too 1 hour to resolve the procedure!! Very bad experience for returning the truck.

JEREMY BI dropped the truck off after hours and left the key in the drop box. A week after I get a call from the corporate office saying they never received the truck. I had to call the location and ask them. I was told they would call me back and they never did. I still don’t think they know where it is.
Thomas WI have rented car trailers in the past and found them to be difficult to use due to age or disrepair . This trailer was in excellent condition and was very easy to use and to secure the towed vehicle, the owner of this establishment even came out to my vehicle just to make sure the connections were done correctly and safely

Mario RFirst truck was full of cock roaches. They business was 40 minutes late showing up to open. Had movers waiting had to return truck for new one was about a 90 minute deal
kenneth hThis was not my original pick up location. Carroll fuel in St Michaels was and I haul had my wrong phone number and because the workers at this location couldn’t communicate well I didn’t get the truck and I missed the movers I hired. That allowed my wife to find out I was moving out so she destroyed my belongings. Because of uhaul not being able to get my truck I lost and had damages of around $4000.00.

Francis FNot clear about what the actual costs are, didn’t provide me with a final total of miles driven or other costs. Have not received a copy of my final invoice or breakdown of amount charged. The gas reported on rental sheet was not gas in truck, charged for the discrepancy.

Trudy Si reserved at a location, then was moved to another location and the new location did not have the 10ft truck I wanted so forced to go with larger truck and more $ yet.. drove by the location I originally wanted and they had the smaller 10 ft truck outside all day,Do not like that bait and switch game. Not happy on that note

debbie hThe place I picked it up from was 16 extra miles than it should have been. If I was able to pick it up at the location I requested I'd have traveled 12 less miles. Also the place I went I did quick check in and was in there over an hour to pick it up and a half hour to drop it off. I was very displeased with my experience.
