U-haul told me to drop off truck on the corner of perkins ave and columbus ave in sandusky ohio. The drop off location was no where near the corner but down a ways. The guy at drop off place ( universal rental ) who was very pleasant checked my truck, all was good. He checked my milage and I was over 85 cents. He charged my card. I thought that was rediculous to charge me 85 cents.

Despite signs on precautions against Covid 19 and the regulations required to stay open, None were observed, no masks etc. Asked about sanitation of trucks - none was answer. Truck required air in tire at pick-up - Mgr added but in one day- low air warning again. Needs repair

Spent 45 minutes at facility trying to check out. Uhaul computers were down. Could not reach anyone by phone. Ended up leaving without paperwork. Had to call at a later time spent over 20 minutes on hold. Then person on the phone could not help me. Was terrible.

I was required to pick up my rental truck at a different location without proper notification of the change. I was also forced to pay a higher rate since i was not returning the truck to the original pickup location. I am supposed to get a $50 credit for my troubles but the error delayed my move by over two hours creating additional hardship for us.

On the app include the info that the drop off box is on the building next door. The drop box is not on the back of the building you park behind.

Key Drop box needs to be located in front of the building or on the gate. not on the building beside there building.

I had an earlier reservation with Coopers Deli who is renter for uhaul. After 20 minutes of waiting for Coopers to open i called Universal in Sandusky and they held a truck for me which was a 40 minute drive. I will not do uhaul business with Coopers Deli due to their poor customer service. I will continue to use haul. Due to having to drive an extra 120 miles in my wifes car which was unecessary i think uhaul should compensate mileage to me from yesterday.

I think that there is a lot of times that people would want to rent A pickup or A van that there should be more available .The truck did work well for us.

Personel not knowledgeable on promotions. Made sure that we received our redeemable "free month rental storage unit." By calling 800 number the associate on the phone set up the unit for us,and we received the confirmation text /reciet showing free month. Well the place. U-haul sent us was 27 miles from our house. They did not honar the discount. We ended up using a unit across the st. (Cheaper) I feel the cost of first month should've been compisated from u-haul. Thanks Russell ott

I told the employee on Perkins Ave at least five times that my trailer needed to be a one-way to Huntington Beach California. And every time he told me that it was good to go. When I get to California, I go to eat breakfast, and I look up and see a random truck towing away my trailer with every possession I own inside. I thought it was stolen, so I called the cops and had them out searching for at least an hour. Turns out, my trailer was never marked as a one-way. So after an hour of freaking out thinking everything was stolen, the Huntington Beach uhaul called me and said they picked it up. On top of all of this they were about to charge me a wrong location drop off fee???!!!!! I SHOULD BE CHARGING YOU GUYS!!! Terrible experience, this type of thing should get somebody fired. Thank god for the nice lady at the Huntington Beach Uhaul/

My appointment was canceled twice! Why does that happen? What is the point of the automated system if you just cancel the appointment without any notification? I requested 2 dozen moving blankets to protect the furniture I was picking up. Why were those removed from the order?
