The attendant didn’t speak English. Took my phone and called a number for me to speak another who barely spoke English. It took nearly an hour for me to pick up the truck. I ordered moving pads. They weren’t in the truck. I had to drive across Philadelphia to another location to get the pads.. on my way there, I called the 800 number- complained- they gave me a voucher for the pads. Went to use the voucher- they donated it for the next day so the voucher was invalid. At this point I’m nearly 3 hours behind schedule in moving my house and have a 3 hour drive ahead of me. Was told I would get a refund when I return the truck. Upon return- they couldn’t actually “return” the pad so they couldn’t give me the refund. I have spent thousands in the past 3 years with Uhaul- this is by far the worst experience. Training is needed. Processes are out of date. Contracts are poor!
