Arlene made the whole experience awful from "go". She ate up 30 minutes of our reservation time, was disgustingly rude and condescending, and I'll go out on a limb and say she was being racist to not only my wife and I, but to another family that was in before us. I will never recommend for anyone to rent a U-Haul from this location, nor use their services. Arlene needs to go before I even consider it.

Cardianeshia PWhen shifting into second and third gear it was extremely loud. Not sure that this is really normal. Also, the headlights need to be adjusted. It appeared they were casting more light on the shoulder than the road when on dim.
MELBA KArlene was amazing. She fixed the mistakes from the previous store and went through great lengths to fix the error of the blankets. On top of that she was able to accept the truck at her location even though uhaul changed my drop off location (what is worse I was not notified about the change in drop off location either). Arlene though was gold and a pleasant experience despite this horrible move.

JANETH GI was doing an after hours pickup. The app said the key was in lockbox 2 and gave me the code. I couldn’t get it to work. Called customer service, talked to a rep that said she was going to help me find an U-Haul close by but then was put on hold for over 30 minutes. Went to another location that was still open and they were no help either. Decided to go back the next morning. Next morning when I check in the lady told me that the key was actually in a different spot. Why would the app say one thing but they put the key in another.

JOSE GFirst of all, I was met at the door, which was understandable bc of power outages in the area. The reservation I made wasn’t known about and instead of outright renting me one of the trucks onsite, I was asked to go online AGAIN and reserve a truck. An hour later I was finally able to get one of the trucks just sitting there and it wasn’t cleaned out, which I got items damaged bc of actual dirt and mud on the floor of the bed. Also, because there was little to no gas in it I was told the $19.95 base fee would be waived. Which was a lie. I drove less than 7 miles and returned in a little over 4 hours and filled the truck back up with MORE gas than I used. I get my receipt for the usage, and I was charged over $70. More than double considering the $19.95 was supposed to be waived. 7 miles $6.95, insurance $15, no base fee $0, environmental fee $1.00, all other taxes was less than $7, I paid for all the gas myself. What exactly was I charged $73 for? Very dissatisfied.

Rochelle BThe air conditioning in the truck did not work. This made moving in 90+ degrees miserable.
Cecil OWe initially went in to rent two U-Haul storage boxes that they would deliver to and from the house. Zach Finch, the manager said that if we used a truck with the same amount of storage it would be less. I thought the cost of the boxes was $69 per box a month and it would cost $100 to deliver and return. He said it was $100 to deliver and $100 to get it back. Which I found out wasn’t true in the end. So I rented a truck and thought I’d only need it for three days. I thought I might need more but he said it wouldn’t be a problem and just call him. So I needed it for three extra days and I called him but never got a response. I didn’t see the small print that it would cost $40 per day and $15 per day for insurance. When we got the truck the mileage and fuel tank on the paperwork was incorrect and we indicated it on the app. They didn’t charge us for the discrepancy. So I initially paid $141.90 and had to pay $181.50 for the extra days. I think the boxes were a lot cheaper with flexibility on time.
David SThe truck that was rented to us had no working A/C and it was very hot riding in it. We put fuel back in the truck to return it but used a small bit before we got back to rental place so it was slightly under. We were charged $8 for gas which is rated at $6 a gallon there. I asked if we could be accommodated for the a/c not work for the charge of gas and I was basically laugh at and was told no I can’t do that. Will not use this place again or recommend to anyone. I hope that $8 extra charged goes far for you

Leon BI like u-haul but not the per mile charge. Will try Penske in the future since they have unlimited miles which would be great if already included and not the same as u-haul per mile charge. If this is really true, then I will stick with Penske and will recommend to my family and friends.

Nelson PWe got a uhaul and it felt like the wheel bearings were going out if not already. Then when we returned the truck she said the line wasn’t close enough to the full tank line and we went and got gas 30 seconds away and took less than 5 mins and she had locked the doors knowing we were right next door. It was an annoying. Her customer service was great til it was close to time for her to clock out.

Shirley JYour rep Arlene was very courteous and professional and took care of us promptly. One complaint I have is the gas agreement. I think each truck should be full of gas bc it is impossible to get gauge back where it was and most people end up putting too much gas. It seems like a lose/lose situation for the customer since I didn’t fill the tank quite to par and had to pay $20 extra 🤨
Samuel GIs was an awful experience. They sent me to one location to pick up they did not have the truck. They sent me to a different location to pick up the truck then back to the first location to pick up the car hauler. Worst experience ever and time wasted!

julie bTrying to get the truck keys using the automated system did not happen (prior to store location opening). This process could not have been more frustrating. We were 45 minutes late getting the truck. Fortunately the employee working arrived early and was extremely concerned and did a great job getting us on the road
Chris SGas tank was left on “E”. 0 miles to “E” to be exact. Also it was very dirty from whoever used it last. Their trash was still in the truck and their energy drink that was in the truck spilled all over the chairs and floors. It made everything sticky (chairs, floors, steering wheel). The truck itself was very nice and worked perfectly for what I needed it for.

Beverly BFix your credit card system- it gave me all sorts of issues and wasted my valuable time trying to get your system to take a card correctly. Then, when i tried to return your truck via the online return system, it wouldn’t recognize the location, forcing me to go inside waste more time. For something that i reserved a week in advance, the pickup and drop off was very poor in its execution.
