We came to pick up our two uhauls that we had reserved. They only had one. We were there for 35 minutes while the guy was so slow in finding us another U-Haul. Then he charged us for 12 blankets and two dollies that he did not have. Then we had to go across town and pick up another one. That location only had 9 blankets. A small dolly and a bigger dolly. We got charged again for those. At this time we had hired our own movers and were waiting for over an hour at our house. We then load the 26 foot U-Haul and are on our 3 hour drive to Tennessee. Three miles down the road we noticed the truck was extremely hard to steer. We finally pulll over and our friend looked under the truck and said that the axels on the truck were really messed up. We call U-Haul and report what was going on. The lady said that she would make a note of it. We had no choice but to drive the truck on to Tennessee. My husband nearly wrecked 6 times trying to steer the truck. We finally make it to Tennessee and call a U-Haul dealer and he said to park it and don’t drive it any further. Finally almost 3 hours later a mechanic came and checked it out and told my husband that he was very lucky to be alive. Really makes me never rent from U-Haul ever again.

a little sketchy 'cheap hotel' vibe. But also the attendant entered our fuel level wrong, told usj we have a fuel surcharge and there was nothing he could do about it because he entered all the information accurately. Problem resolved quickly by calling uhaul, but should have to call corporate to drop off without extra charges.
