I would much prefer going to a traditional Uhaul location with traditional face-to-face service. Yesterday's automated process in an industrial parking lot was very frustrating and took too long. It's NOT efficient. I've rented from Uhaul a number of times over the last couple years and I did not like this new automated process at all! Yes, the young man was available for phone calls and I had to make at least 6 calls to him with questions, when I was both picking up the truck and dropping it off. He was very pleasant but it is no substitute for face-to-face service. I'm reasonably tech-savvy but this process is not easy or efficient.

Overcharged on mileage I never did, and still waiting to hear from supplier. Uhaul sent me to a different location, reserved for 9am..place wasnt open until 10am. Guy was nice at the subsidiary place; but I only used the vehicle for 1.5 hours but was over charged for 37 miles I did not drive. I am still waiting for the company to let me know the final outcome. Jon PSaid no one was on their schedule, but I got a confirmation call and email. Had to go in and find the key myself. Booked it for 2 days, brought it back early, but still had to pay for 2 days (because it was 2 hours after the 24 hours). And I think I was overcharged mileage
