It's not the dealer's fault, although they had no signage of drop boxes for the keys. I locked the keys in the back just as I received them. It IS the dealer's fault that I didn't receive the appliance dolly or furniture pads I ordered. The 24/7 rental process is still brutal torture, saying that the phone number of my contact, never in the reservation at all, was my number and couldn't be used, that my wife's phone number was also the phone number on the contract. If I hadn't been a 5 year U-Haul dealer myself until I sold my business in 2024, I would have given up on the process multiple times during the torture. The 24/7 process is costing you customers.

When I scheduled the van, I requested a 10' van with blankets and a hand truck. I got a call the day before and they changed my pick up location, the size of the van and they didn't have a record of the other items I requested. When I picked the van up, I had to take a 15' van and I had to travel to another U-Haul location to get the moving blankets and hand truck. Luckily we didn't have an issue with any of the equipment but the whole experience was VERY frustrating.
AMY LMaybe not illegally threaten people to provide free equipment transportation. Your arbitration clause means nothing when you willingly and purposely break the contract.
