The location was great, very close to the house I moved away from, and also close to the new house I moved into, so pickup and drop-off was easy, one thing that could improve is if there was more Trucks and equipment avaliable, but I got exactly what I neededYvon D.

We have used Uhaul twice this year as there is nothing else available in Wabush NL That location both times we had to call a couple days before to ensure the equipment was ready. Both times they weren't. Claimed they were down. Called outside. No record of it being down. Outside had to deal with this. Terrible service in Wabush.Andrew N.

My location was great. I was contacted by Uhaul in what I consider a hostile tone to tell me I was 9 days overdue on a returned trailer. Making an assumption I was involved with stealing this trailer. I contact the location and they tell me they called in the return. This ends up being a Uhaul computer glitch that ended with me feeling shamed when doing nothing wrong.Dylan R.

I was not aware this location only has trailers if someone brings it in. so much confusion picking it up. Although your head office did their darnedest to ensure that we had one. We were not confirmed until 3 days prior to our departure which was extremely stressful. And the seal on the trailer doors should be better maintained as owner is aware Labrador and Quebec roads are extremely dusty,Donald E. B.

well, where to begin..... you could get new staff and a new location in Labrador city. the man there nearly ruined all of our plans and made us stress more than we have in a long time. he refused to provide us with the trailer we had booked even though we met all requirements, on top of that he left us hanging for 2 weeks before he actually even checked to see if we could actually take the trailer and when he found out we could he still refused. due to the location , we were not left with any options and only managed to get the trailer days before our moving date, when it should have been weeks before.MEGHAN D.

This was the worst service I have ever been forced to use in my life: 1) PHONE NUMBER FOR THIS LOCATION DOESN'T WORK. 2) UHAUL WAS NOT AVAILABLE AT SPECIFIED TIME (1pm). I had to take a cab to and from the location at my own expense as the truck wasn't there. When the truck showed up it could NOT be released to me due to electrical issue. 2a) WAS NOT INFORMED ABOUT $50 reimbursement FOR UHAUL NOT BEING AVAILABLE 2b) WAS DELAYED 3 DAYS, LOST THE $80 FERRY DEPOSIT BECAUSE THE TRUCK WAS UNAVAILABLE AND I WAS NOT INFORMED IN TIME (48 hours) TO CANCEL RESERVATION 2c) Went back at 4pm and Herrick wasn't available 3) NO ONE AT GAS STATION, HAD TO WAIT 45min FOR HIM TO SHOW UP 3) VENDOR WAS VERY RUDE, IGNORANT OF THE SERVICES HE WAS PROVIDING 4) NO FURNITURE SLIPS, STRAPS OR OTHER ITEMS WERE AVAILABLE EVEN THOUGH THEY SHOWED ON THE WEBSITE 5) I had to take the largest truck instead of the truck I choose on the website -which burned double the gas during this trip I am appalled that this vendor is allowed to host UHAUL services as the reputation damage they incur from this particular unprofessional vendor cannot be reversed. The only reason I used this service is because of the monopoly in the area. If anyone else was hosting uhaul or moving services then I would have used them. If at all possible, avoid this uhaul location. I will never recommend uhaul services to any of my friends, colleagues or acquaintances after the circus I was forced to endure. Uhaul is still resisting reimbursing me for the $80 ferry deposit and trying to pass the buck saying it isn't their fault- when clearly the truck NOT being available and NOT informing the customer within 48hrs were the main causes. I hope uhaul reviews customer feedback and takes appropriate action.JOSEPH S.
My name is Brent Collins, I am the manager that rented this unit (Steven was the delivery driver who picked it up). The whole process here in Wabush could not have been worse. Ray, the owner of the location here was unreachable, unhelpful and rude. Uhaul customer service was excellent and impeccable (big thanks to Ryan and Kelcie at your customer service line), however the local service was the worst I've seen. I have no problem with the location or the personnel as both were great and helpful. My problem is the exorbitant amount of money you charged based on the geographical location I was heading. I was told because I was going to Labrador it would cost me an outrageous amount of money because it was difficult to turn around trailers there. Not only is this unfair to charge me more based on location, but when I arrived at said location I was told they had more demand than supply. I am outraged it costed me so more to rent a trailer. I would rather buy a trailer next time than rent from you, and believe me, it probably would be cheaper. And only putting options for me to grade the location and personnel and not the company is ridiculous.BRENT C.

The staff here was exceptionally helpful. We were in a bit of a pickle when we arrived there, we had been told by the UHaul customer service over the phone that we were basically on our own, the staff at Wabush told us not to worry, and they took care of all the details without it inconveniencing us in the slightest. the truck was outside in temps below -40 degrees and no antifreeze, I had to go find, buy, and instill antifreeze. The dipstick showed empty on oil, so i needed to buy oil and fill the truck before i could do anything. Poor maintenance.BARRY S.

I returned the Uhaul on a Saturday, today is Tuesday and I'm still waiting for my deposit back. They emailed me papers saying it had been returned but it has not. The "little girl" working that day said she didn't know how to refund it and the owner would return it to me on Monday. I called and am now fighting for it. Ridiculous!! I will never rent a Uhaul again!!joseph B.

Have the operator of U-Haul et his priorities straight. When I called him to arrange pickup and check on availability of my vehicle I was treated very rudly. I was told by thie operator of the Wabush Gas Bar that I am busy serving gas call me back, I cannot garantee your vehicle. I called back and was told that I am serving gas and the gas comes first, when I get home after supper I will look at what is avaiable and I have the right to schedule, The more you bug me the less chance you have in getting a vehicle and the gas comes first. On the day of pickup I called again and was told that I will have a look at it after supper and call you, I was not called, pickup time was 6pm I called back at 7:30 pm and was told to wait another 10 - 15 minutes, I waited another 30 mins. He showed up took information and had to go home and enter it into the computer, has to wait another 30 mins. I had 24 blankets booked. he had no blankets, I had to go home and re pack my furniture, next day I noticed he had more vehicles returned to his lot, I called looking for blankets, took two hours before I could contact him, left message, Finally got blankets several hours later too late to use most of them already had furniture loaded on the truck. Totally the worst customer relations experience I have ever experienced. Lewisporte on the other hand was excellent. The equipment did work fine. Thanks.RICK B.
When I returned the trailer to this gas bar, the fellow working was very young and told me that I must come back the following Monday because his boss was out of town. I insisted that the young man sign my copy that I had left the trailer there and in good shape. He never even came out to inspect the unit. Quite surprising but then again Wabush is a very small town. If needed I would do the same rental, no worries.GLENN V.

Even though the service is good the price is outrageous I picked up a car carrier on Sunday Oct18/09 at 8:00 am and dropped it off in Goose Bay on Sunday Oct.18/09 at 7:36 pm and I was charged for 3 days I think it's only fair that I get charged for only one day as that is all I had it for. If this is how your fees are done charging people for more days then they have it , I personally will not use U-Haul again and I will inform all of my friends as to how this system works.I am hoping for a refund for 2 days that I did not use this equipment.
