This location was phenomenal. The owner and his son was very kind and helpful. I would recommend this location to friends and family. The overall Uhaul experience was horrible. Two weeks in a row, I reserved a one-way Uhaul at 535 E Broadway, Louisville KY, and I was contacted both times, the day before before I was to pick up the truck and toy pulley, that the neither would be in until that Tuesday, but I could go to Radcliff, which is an hour away to pick up the truck, but would have to come to that location to pick up the toy pulley, so I had to reserve again for the next weekend because I was relocating to Memphis Tennessee. Again, I received a call the day before I was to pickup the truck and toy pulley, that once again both weren't available at that location but I could pick up the truck at the Bardstown Rd, location out by Buechel Bypass but had to go to the Lagrange location to pick up the toy pulley. When I called Bardstown Rd to confirm, they told me I couldn't pick up the truck until 8:00 pm. I called the Lagrange location to confirm and was told that the toy pulley would not be in until 9:30 pm, but the location closed at 9:00 pm. Now make that make sense! So, the guy at the Lagrange location had customer service call me, I believe her name was Sarah and she said they had a toy pulley at 12600 Eastwood Cutoff Rd, which was 30 minutes from my location. At this point, I am beyond frustrated as I need to be in Tennessee by Monday. I asked her if the Eastwood location had a truck I could reserve because I preferred to pickup both the truck and equipment at the same location. Thank God, they did. So yes, the Eastwood location came through me. They were a blessing. I would call Eastwood Cut Off Roads location personally and refer everyone to that specific location. You will be glad you did.

Overall everything was fine, it was just frustrating that nothing I reserved ended up being delivered as expected. I reserved the truck at a location close to my home. Instead I had to pick up the truck in a location in another county, and I was not given prior notice of that change. I reserved 24 blanket covers. I was only provided 12 blankets. I participated in the load share program. I was told the facility where the trailer was located would be open at 7:30 am. Then when I went to pick up the trailer, I was told they would not be open until 9:00am. The lack of clear communication was frustrating.

Make sure you have the store hours correct as this location has summer winter hours but the owner was very accommodating. Great customer service. But for Uhaul don’t wait till the last minute to inform customer who placed order weeks in advance at one location then switch to another location. Don’t give that option unless equipment will be there.

The gentleman I handed the keys over to was very friendly and took care of the return process for me, so it was a quick stop. Wonderful service and would recommend to anyone in the area; in fact, it’s probably worth going a bit out of the way for good service like this

Not so much the location, it’s the overly complicated process to rent that U-Haul has created. You have my name and credit card. Why do you need two additional names and information on them. Took over an hour of standing around restarting the process to rent a trailer I needed for 45 minutes. Not worth renting from U-Haul!

Very helpful and caring, making sure you have what you need to have a great rental experience. Diffidently would recommend this location even if its not the one closest to you. And if you need a gift or any new plants for your new location, They've got you covered, and a convenience.. God bless KT Veitch
