When I reserved the U-Haul it was at the Route 37 U-Haul in toms River. The day before they called to tell me I now had to pick it up 45 minutes away in Manahawkin. This is not something that I wanted to hear the day before my move when I was already crunched for time that I had to drive over an hour and a half out of my day to pick up a U-Haul that I did not reserve at that location. Pack and get everything done and then to find out that you switched locations. The last minute is not acceptable. You should commit to having the U-Haul available at the location that it was reserved at.

Jamie KI was picking up a motorcycle trailer on a Sunday afternoon. I was supposed to be there by 12:45pm, but that particular day, I wasn't feeling well & I was running a bit behind. I called the location first thing in the morning to confirm the trailer was there because I had made the reservation last minute late the previous night (Sat). The man on the phone was pleasant, but he did say that I'd need to be there on time because they close at 1pm. On my way there when I realized, according to my GPS, that I'd be arriving at 12:55, I called again to let the man know & make sure he'd be there. When I did finally arrive, I was appreciative & grateful & I thanked the man (I wish I remembered his name! 🙄 He's an older man & had a Vietnam Veteran cap on) for his patience with me. I was needing to purchase ratcheting straps & had asked when I talked to him in my first call. He said at that time that he didn't have them to sell but that he had a couple different straps that others have left in truck rentals & that if I wanted I could have a few of them! That, for me, was above & beyond what I'd expected & because he was so accommodating & helpful, this will now be my regular U-Haul location! Sorry I don't remember your name but thank you for OUTSTANDING customer service!!! 😉

DIN RToo many steps to get in the road. It should not be the clients job to take pre rental pictures that should be the business’s job. Also should not be $100+for a short hour or so rental. That’s really just robbery. Will avoid using at all if possible in the future.

Donald SNeed to get the tire fixed on this pickup truck. I rented it in June and changed out a tire that had a nail puncture at check out. As of August 31 the spare was still on and there is no spare on the truck. Great place to work with, always on time and well organized otherwise.

WILLIAM SWhen I asked Mr. Zimmerman if my truck would be towed if parked up front, while using the U Haul truck for 6 hours, he said "Yes". I asked where was I suppose to park, and he shrugged his shoulders. Finally, he instructed me to park at the far end of the parking lot. Not an issue, but a sign would have been helpful to where a customer can park while using the U Haul rental truck at the Wanna Window company. There are more than enough signs stating that a vehicle would be towed if parked at the Wanna Window business up front. Not very professional.

MICHAEL CThe app for early your pick up was horrible. First- the required information should have been requested upon reservation. The app would not accept references properly (“that number was used on reservation “). That was not the case Two references needed to be verified early hours at pick up time??? Absolutely ridiculous The result: I had to wait for location to open - while I had labor waiting for me at destination Waste of time and money. Never again- hello Home Depot

Robert MThe cab of the truck smelled awful. It smelled like dead fish. The truck appeared clean, but it smelled bad. The app can show you pictures of a clean truck, but you can’t see bad smells.

Michael WBooking a reservation thru the app was easy and convenient. The front desk employee at Wanna Window Inc in Manahawkin, NJ was incredibly nice and kind. He called me prior to my reservation to confirm some details and advised I’d likely need less furniture pads than I reserved. I truly appreciate his help. The 9’ cargo van was clean and ran well. I will absolutely consider renting from here again!

James BSite was a bit further and changed twice due to lack of availability of preferred vehicle at a closer site. However it was still within 10 miles of my home. I had a bit of trouble with the automated on line confirmation of the condition of the vehicle so couldn't use that feature. There was however no issue with the off hours drop-off.
Joanne TMy original pickup location was in Barnegat. The location was changed to Manahawkin and I was not informed. Went to the wing location to pick up the rental truck.
