Maybe not charge someone a $25+ gas fee when they only utilize 3 gallons of gas. Its one thing if someone returns a vehicle with an empty tank. However I barely used any gas and was not going to go to the gas station and calculate how much money it would cost to replenish the exact amount to fill it back to the exact amount I received the truck with.

Have a better more dependable fleet. The truck I rented was older and fairly beat up. Battery died while I was at the gas station fueling up before returning. Luckily someone there helped me jump the battery so I could get going right away. Otherwise, the location and help were great

DOUGLAS EI would NEVER rent anything from there again. The guy is a jerk and called me repeatedly back to back for no reason. Then when I got back to the location he stormed out and demanded the keys and made my return process extremely difficult. Absolutely WORST LOCATION EVER!

Christopher DMy 1st rental, a van, was EXCELLENT. My 2nd rental was VERY VERY BAD !!!! The box truck. Pass mirror loose, NOOOOOOO GOOD !! Drivers mirror unable to put where needed, TOOOOOO TIGHT !! GAS TANK WAS ON EMPTY, then, when I returned it, I got charged $35 for gas, saying the tank was 1/2 full, WHICH IT WAS NOT, NOT, NOT !!!! My 3rd rental, another van, so far is excellent !! I really think considering I've rented 3 trucks from U from the same location, in the last couple of weeks, MANAHAWKIN, NJ, U should make the $35 GAS CHARGE, give me a credit. ROBERT RThe truck that was rented to me was in very poor condition. I was driving on the garden state parkway when in the middle lane the truck stopped working. I had to coast from the middle lane 2 lanes over into the shoulder were the truck didn't even make all the way into the shoulder. I almost died on the parkway because of the poor condition of the truck. Thank goodness I was a truck driver at one time and was able to get over into the shoulder. When I called uhaul they said they were going to send a tow truck out. They said the tow truck would be to me in 30 minutes well 30 minutes turned in to 4 hours later and they sent a repair guy not a tow truck. when I called the uhaul number again the customer service agent said that they will be sending out a tow truck now because the repair guy said right away that he couldn't repair the truck and this happens all the time with these trucks. When my son-in-law called customer service again they said I had to wait for my represetative to call me back and I needed to stay with the truck again. Do you know what it's like to sit on the side of the parkway with Sunday traffic going back home from the jersey shore???? It's a nightmare. Talk about dangerous!!! I have pictures and video if you would like to review them. I am so disappointed with the service I was provided. I will never use your company again. To top it off you want to charge me full price for this rental. I worked in customer service for about 30 years and I have never dealt with such terrible customer service in my entire life.

DAVID RThe location and individual at wanna window was lovely. She was excellent and they are lucky to have her. She was truly wonderful. However our truck was damaged towards the roof. We didn’t realize it u til the following morning when we were moving….. the night before it rained and all of my items were soaked and boxes were mush. Many items were damaged and we had to unload items one by one and it took foreverrrrrr we were so confused about what was happening. My husband then noticed holes and uneven roof and a lousy caulk job. This truck must have hit something up top and damaged the roof. It is not a sealed space at all and my stuff was exposed to the thunderstorm. I did call and have a complaint in. This made my moving take much longer, my helpers were very upset as the unloading took so so so much longer than just loaded boxes on our dolly, and many items were damaged. Whoever owns this truck should be ashamed of themselves for thinking that caulk job fixed their problem. Very angry, upset, and disappointed.
