I’ve been using U-Haul for years to transport my balloons to my events. This location on 1745 Doctor M.L.K in Indy is by far the best location I have ever used for a U-Haul rental. I give them ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ the service was excellent!!

It’s a gravel lot in a not very good part of town and it was hard to maneuver the uhaul with a trailer to get there. This whole process was way more expensive than it needed to be too. We will not be going with uhaul in the future.

Location had no staff on-site on Saturday. Had to use UHAUL app for entire rental process. Found app slow and delayed rental process. Would NOT use this method again. Sat in parking lot for 35-40 minutes waiting on response from app to verify and approve rental. I had pre-registered the night before, so I expected a smooth rental process; that was a poor assumption. Process was slow and frustrating and very unclear. I would NOT recommend the UHAUL app rental experience. Very displeased. Rental location parking lot covered in ice and very slippery. almost fell multiple times. A serious liability for the property owner.

Well this location didn't do anything wrong but I will say the app needs work. I photographed the truck before leaving and wasn't able to load anything in the app to protect me from and damages to the truck prior to me using it. Spoke to Kelly on the phone from Uhaul and she notated the account that I was unable to and that if I have any issues, I can let someone know I guess?

Not enough employees to provide good service and avoid long waits. Did not call me as their website said they would. The truck was not in the location despite being reserved 10 days ahead. It was not prepared and was not cleaned. That was a lot of lost time and stress added on my moving day.

We picked up the Uhaul using the mobile app and had to answer a series of questions before being able to obtain the vehicle but one of the questions was to provide a picture of your passport. What if you don’t have one. This was not explained before the transaction when we picked the Uhaul up at 7:30 in the morning, we had to scramble to get my daughters passport and use it to complete the process to obtain the key to the Uhaul. The facility was closed which we knew that it would be because we needed the Uhaul early. But if we didn’t have access to a passport, we could’ve been delayed for hours. Also, I’ve rented a Uhaul several times before and have never been asked to provide passport or to give work info and phone number and also an individuals name and phone number to verify who we are. All of this needed information should’ve have been disclosed when renting the vehicle. Why was this personal information needed? Was this a scam?

Some retail outlets for renting U-Hauls are well groomed, clean and appear ready for business. The location I chose was not, but it didn't matter as the service and outcome was just as good. The sales agent was knowledgeable, albeit she wasn't wearing anything branded by U-Haul. She had a hand-held unit to pull up my contract and everything seemed to work just fine. I just felt a little uneasy as the location was no more than a gravel lot with some out-buildings and garages - perhaps this was a place U-Hauls go to be worked on? No matter - it all worked.

well first of all you can start by giving me my money back for this SHIT experience. and when i went to tell someone what was wrong they told me basically there was nothing they could do to help me because this was a dealer. the tire was completely FLAT when i came to pick it up there was no one at the location to help me and i had no choice but to take the vehicle to air up the tire which by the way was at 26 PSI and it should have been at 75, dont worry i have photo proof, all pictures taken prior to and on the lot. also i ordered a furniture mover which was NOT in the unit when i went to pick it up which made the moving process TEN TIMES more difficult. so yes, i will never be using this shit ass service ever again.

Our truck rental did not include the moving equipment (blankets, dolly) that we had reserved. We had to spend over an hour calling customer service and other U-Haul locations and then drive an additional 12 miles to pick them up ourselves.

This was not the original location I reserved truck for. I was called the day before and advised of change. I was not informed this location required the mobile app to checkout. No one was present when I arrived and when I called the number I was provided, I received voicemail. After numerous attempts at other uhaul #s, I finally got a live person who was able to assist.

The truck had a hole in the roof and we drove through rain. Our mattress and all of our belongings got wet on the bottom. Our leather sofa has damage.

This location is great. The parent company U-Haul is terrible, called me the evening before I picked up my truck to change pick up locations on me. Did not have the dolly I reserved. What’s the point of reservations?

I was very pleased to find out that there was an app to order, drop off and do a lot of other things when it comes to having a U-Haul... Other than taking the pictures when you drop off your truck or equipment, I loved the entire experience! Thank you for not only having the truck I needed but having people that are informative and helpful! The young lady I experienced was very helpful and respectful which made my experience better!

The cab had trash behind the seats. I had not seen the trash until I left the parking area and looked under the seat

It took 45 minutes to get checked out because no one was there and my cell reception was dropping the connection. It was very frustrating and my moving help got to the house before we did.

Renting a uhaul there was fast and very professional the area was clean and full of trucks lined up nicely parked the inside of the cab was clean and the back of the truck was swept out it was real nice to get into a truck that was clean and ready for me it makes it more easier to clean up after myself I would recommend renting from there to anybody I know or met thanks uhaul

the truck kept showing an overheating engine issue going on the entire way. We had to repeatedly pull over along the way to allow the over-temperature light on the dashboard to go away. In addition, we were not able to turn on the a/c as this will also trigger the over-temperature sign in the dashboard. this was a poor experience using U-haul truck

I feel like I was way over charged when I paid 40 some when I got the truck and then got charged another 100 something yesterday. I first reserved the truck I wanted on the 14th and went to go get it and they didn't have it and then lead to tell me the scheduling manager would give me a call that I never received so I have to reschedule another reservation to pick up a truck and wait. While having the truck since I was already behind schedule due to not having the truck on the 14th I had to wait a day before I could unload the truck and was stuck keeping the truck a extra day when I didn't want it more than 24 hour. Then I got charged 39.90 for the extra day but when I chatted with someone they was only charging 24.50 for the extra day. Tell me how that works out. During all this I tried calling several times but got lied too and hung up on so I just chatted with customer service figured if they lie I have it right there what they said to prove it. I would like some kinda refund for the service I received and wouldn't refer U-Haul to anyone on a time schedule.

Why did you send me to a drop off location 20 miles away from the address I gave you when there are 2 less than 5 miles away from where I moved to? And why did you send me to a location that doesn’t open until 1:30 when I had an 11 drop off time?

The attendant was very helpful and friendly. I had ordered two additional dollies that were not available. It would have been nice to have them, but that was not the attendant's fault. She was helpful in amending my reservation so that I was not charged.

I disputed the charge when I dropped off the truck and the online app stated someone would get in touch with me. It's been more than 1 week and I haven't received a call. I shouldn't have been charged for 2 rentals for dropping the truck off late. I called the location where I picked up twice before my drop off time and no one answered. Call me to discuss this.
