DWIGHT HHorrible customer service. U-Haul 100% failed.. I didn’t get the vehicle I reserved which caused major issue with space. The gentleman that assisted us with picking up the vehicle was extremely rude, disrespectful, and wasted an enormous amount of our time. This experience will lead me to work hard not to ever use U-Haul again..

MICHAEL WYour computer system was slow and unresponsive. The woman who helped me was great and on it and worked hard to get my transaction complete. This had nothing to do with Washougal Food Center, they were awesome.
Timothy GThis location was NOT where I chose to pick up. It was over 30 miles from my preferred location. This cost me an hour of my time, plus 60 miles round trip with 6 gallons of gas at $4.00 a gallon. I spent way to much to use a trailer I had to pay for, due to the incompetent corporate business model of allowing corporate to move pick up location to meet THEIR needs and not the customers. Then to find out, the pick up location gave me the wrong trailer anyway.

Joaquin BPerson at front counter could not care less about his job. Told me to go find the trailer it’s outside somewhere. Did not even make sure you were using correct hit and correctly attached to truck like all u Haul places do. Did not put in drop off location correctly. Called customer service 5 times still was wrong in the end of it. E mail for this place to contact them via u hauls name on it is very unprofessional.
andrew sThere were several trucks parked up by the establishment, but the one we were assigned was out in a field behind the store. Sure enough, when we started the truck, the engine light was on. When we told him what happened he did not seem surprised at all and wordlessly gave us another truck (but didn't restart the check-in process which was strange). There was no apology or clarifications. It seemed pretty clear the merchant was hoping to foist a truck that needed to be serviced off on us, hope we wouldn't notice, and stick us with the bill.

Lauren WThe truck I used had not been fully inspected or checked between the previous rental and mine. The moving blankets weren’t put back and I didn’t need to use them… I explained this to the person at check out… I was still charged for the usual the blankets which I explained were not put back from the previous user.… the truck had blue paint or something on the door and a rip in the seat….

Debra JReturning the truck, I filled the tank to just over a quarter (it was initially slightly under) one block away. I told the cashier i had returned it with the proper fuel amount in it and asked him to check. He said that they'll check in the morning and he couldn't because he was the only one working. But an hour later i get the bill and it has a fuel service charge on it. I call him to dispute the charges but he tells me i have to talk to someone in the morning but every time i call the supervisor isn't there. I feel like i was scammed.
Avi NWas given conflicting information regarding rates. Gas gauge showed different level. When checking in, I sent the picture and comment in the app. When returning the vehicle, the agent denied receiving it.

Atherium BI asked them if they were aware of the iussues regarding the water in the cargo area, they said "yes, your all done, is there anything eles I can help you with" when I said I wanted a call from the owner the guy asked me why, what would it be regarding, making sure I was clear Uhaul was the problem not the store. I was Told " Im a hardware guy being forced to do uhaul things"
JONATHAN LThe location and employees were great, but the particular van I was given seems like it's on its last leg. The transmission is clearly going out to the point I had someone follow me in a car in case it broke down. It affected braking significantly and there was an awful burning smell. If my moving distance wasn't short, I would have just taken it back and asked for another one. I wouldn't rate my experience as bad- but I do feel I need to speak up so the next customer doesn't end up in a bad spot if it does break down on them.
Katie KVery easy to check in and check out, they actually open until 11:00pm, which is convenient for late check-in. The trailer is in good condition. We rented a 5x9 one, it's sturdy, spacious, pretty heavy. Next time I will try a smaller one.

FRANK GU-Haul trailer detached from our truck on the freeway, colliding with our back bumper. U-Haul says it's not their fault because their employee took a picture after hooking up my trailer to my ball hitch, because we apparently left while they were doing a light check, and because afterward, I refused roadside assistance. A photo doesn't change the damage done to my truck, regardless the lights have nothing to do with the hitch connection and what has anything after the fact like roadside refusal have to do with the incident at hand? I was busy and couldn't wait 2 hours so I dropped the trailer off and went on about my day. Don't bother with this company. You pay extra for insurance, their equipment fails, wasting your day and they can't even take accountability. This is what you have to look forward to if you do business with U-Haul; overpriced trailers with zero guarantees.
Riley BI dropped it off and was immediately checked back in but had to disconnect the trailer from the tow vehicle myself. Having someone take care of that for me, as El Cajon U-Haul took care of connecting the trailer to the vehicle, as well as brake, backing, and turn signal checks, would have been better customer service.

ALANA CHad to return later in day to pick up trailer because U-Hauls systems were down for several hours. Not the locations fault but left a bad taste in my mouth for U-Haul.
