The roll up door on our truck kept coming off the tracks. It was awful and such a pain. I would not recommend uhaul as when we returned the truck no one cared about the door and the fact that it took us so much extra time to get the door up and down with every load. We will not be using u haul again. Poor quality and customer service.Joseph S.

I felt like I got scammed. The gas tank was not completely full and I returned the truck at the same gas level. I was still charged for 2 gallons. Unfortunately, I didn't take a picture of the tank level before I left the lot. During checkout, the owner (Singh), didn't mention anything about the tank level and just cashed me out. I would not recommend this place to anyone and left a bad impression with me. Also, when I picked up the truck the customer service was horrible. The guy had no customer service. All in all, I would not be using them or Uhaul again.VIENGPHET O.

Everything was fine, except when I got a call from the location asking when I planned to return the trailer that I returned to them 2 hours prior. Now I am concerned that I may be somehow billed additional hours, when they actually removed the trailer and parked it themselves. Calling a customer before checking their own work is unacceptable, and obviously they didn't follow through on their return procedures.Zal F.

I first worked with One Stop Storage, who didn't have a truck available when I had to change the date. As I use them for storage, and they have been excellent, I am sure they would met the needs as well, if I hadn't had to change the date. I am not as familiar with Washougal Food Center, but the store appears tidy, was well stocked, and has plenty of staff to meet the customer's volume. So, I had no complaint. The delays were all on our end. . So, I guess I would sum it up, in that while my policy is not to recommend anything to friends or acquaintances, due to bad experiences when I have. The man who â€œhelpedâ€ me was more interested in his phone than assisting me. He didn't break eye contact from his phone the entire time I was there. I handed him my rental agreement, he looked at it, handed it back to me and said I was good. I had to ask him to email me a receipt that the rental was returned. He showed me his phone and asked me to confirm my email, I did and he sent me a receipt. No signature, no inspection of the trailer. I even offered if he had a lock for the tongue of the hitch, that I would lock it up for him. All I got was, nope it's good. So much for the effort I went to, spending extra time and money to clean the trailer inside and out. I felt uneasy about my interaction with him, so I took photos of the trailer and where I parked it before leaving it in case something happened after leaving it with them. I didn't have confidence in this location, and wouldn't rent from them, or use it as a drop off location again. I dropped off here out of convenience due to its distance from my house, but next time I'll drive out of my way for a better location.Michael H.
This location is a convenience store that has a Uhaul sideline. I had to wait between his crackhead customers buying beer and cigarettes while he rang them up. It took me over 30 minutes to complete the rental and be on my way. He asked me if I needed help hooking up the tow dolly, He reluctantly hooked it up after I objected. Don't rent from here. Go to a designated Uhaul Dealer. Unprofessional and rude. But it was the only place in Southwestern Washington and Portland area that had a tow dolly. What could I do?STEPHEN H.
I was surprised there was no built in or portable ramp with the 10' cube rental. For moving a refrigerator this would have been extremely helpful, and considerably safer.Craig B.

I was being assisted by someone who had to step over and ring people out in the middle of assisting me which wasted a lot more of my time than is acceptable. She did not assist me in hooking the Auto Transport up to my vehicle. I am not a large person so moving one of them by hand is not an easy feat. It took me several tries backing up to the AT, getting out of my truck going to look if I was close or not, getting back in, reattempting to match the ball to the AT before I as close enough that I could struggle with moving it over my hitch. This facility needs to meet minimum expectations when it comes to U-Haul, and with this rental they were not even in the ball park. There is no reason for a person who is being assisted to have the person renting to them to be made to wait because someone walks up and want to buy a pack of smokes, or a can of chew etc. Absolutely unacceptable. I was also advised I did not need to reserve a Tow Dolly which is what I wanted because there were two on hand just days before. When I called to make sure, both were gone. Yes, my truck was able to pull the AT, but with the car on it, it was a little more weight than I like considering I had to come down from 1100 feet pulling the loaded AT.REGINA C.
Gas was only at 7/8 so I had to return at that level and was not compensated for filling. It is really hard to judge how much gas to add and I am sure that you billed the prior customer for not filling. So you should either give it to me full or pay me for filling.Burnell V.
