Patrick DTwo weeks ago i rented the same size u haul and car tower to move my dad from Gautier Ms all the way to Columia Ms with now issue and not needing a 100.00 deposit this time i rented and had to put one down. The customer service guy was very rude and was no help when i asked why i needed deposit this time. I will use penski next time or 2 men and truck

Joseph CI use only this location in waveland because the equipment is always in mint condition, the service is awesome, and they always work to get me exactly what I need..that matters when it comes to renting uhaul equipment. The guys get to know the clients, and really try to accomodate you quickly and easily..that matters...great job!
patty gThe particular truck I rented this time was an older one, devoted to local rental, and will likely be "retired" sometime soon, but it's value is that it is a 15' size, which well suited my needs this time and at several occasion - good gas mileage, excellent space and ramp setup, and considerably easier to maneuver around than the 20' model. The guys at this location are competent, easy to work with, and it is a very big plus that they have extensive weekend hours, until 6:00 on Saturdays and all day on Sunday.

Johanna DThere was quite a long line of customers trying to pick up when we arrived to get our trailer, so it took us almost 40 minutes to get processed and get the trailer. A 2nd computer for this location would help. They were very nice, though, and continually apologized for the wait.
Donald LFirst and last experience with U-HAUL ever! I reserved a 26' van for a one-way trip at 4:30pm. The customer who had the truck never brought the truck back that day. I waited for an hour in case he was running late and he never showed up. Yes this, is out of the hands of U-HAUL, but U-HAUL NEEDS TO HAVE ENFORCED RULES AND HARSH PENALTIES FOR NOT BRINGING EQUIPMENT BACK AT THE SCHEDULED TIME!! The only other option available that day was a 15' van located 45min away and I had to bring it back to that specific location. Due to the mileage expense, I ended up having to pay MORE for the 15' van than the 26' van driving one way. I was not able to get to the dealer until after hours so I set up U-HAUL 24/7 on my phone. After completing my online check-in, I still did not receive the 3-digit code on the U-HAUL app for the lockbox. I had to sit on hold with 24/7 customer service before I spoke with someone. The lady was very helpful and considerate and solved my issue. SHE WAS THE ONLY GOOD THING ABOUT THIS EXPERIENCE. After I FINALLY got my truck, I noticed it smelled heavy of cigarette smoke. This caused my allergies to mess up extremely bad. I had a migraine, had runny eyes, and sneezed the entire time I was driving due to how bad the cigarette smell was. The cab light on the inside did not work and I had to slam the driver door very hard for it to shut all the way. I did not finish unloading at my new house until 3am. I was not able to fit all of my belongings in one trip and refused to spend over $100 more plus gas on making a second trip because of the long miles I was driving. I then had to make a second trip the next day with my truck and a friend's trailer for the rest of my things. I was never offered even a small discount, credit, or anything for my troubles. This will be the last time I use U-HAUL and will tell everyone I know who moves to avoid using this company. HAVE WORSE PENALTIES FOR NON-RETURNS AND SMOKERS. SHOW MORE CONSIDERATION TO THE CUSTOMERS WHO ARE HAVING TROUBLE!!
