THERESA SThe location was great, and the van was clean. However, the associate who checked us out didn’t explain the ‘SAFEMOVE’ to us, which we would have opted out of. Also, she told us that we could bring it back by 10am the next morning with no extra charge. Our original reservation was 4-8, but she said if we do the check in via the app, we can bring it back by 10 the next day - however I was charged for TWO rentals. I called and spoke to Chris the next day, who was helpful, and stated someone would reach out to me…. Haven’t heard from anyone yet.

Karin CI was charged an additional $13.99 without being told. WHY? I put in the exact amount of gas as when I had picked it up, and I returned it cleaned in the same condition I picked it up in. What is this charge for, and why wasn't I told?

Yu KMake sure the place is actually open at the time of pick up. Our place of pick up was changed by uhaul 2 days before our pick up date. The gal who called us didn’t bother to check the hours they were open. We arrived at 9:00 to get the truck but they didn’t open till 10:00. Very disappointed

Felipe Sthe Service engine light was on when we picked up the truck and we noticed there was water in the truckbox. Not sure where the water was coming from. ( Maybe a leak in the roof ). The engine light stayed on the entire time while we had the truck. Besides that, your customer service team was very helpful and the transaction was easy.
VERNON CVan was clean but had a lingering smell of what I assumed was tobacco and marijuana. Overall, the van was still usable and did a great job, just a weird smell that lingered all day.

Jose TI returned the box truck after driving 14 miles with exactly 3/8 tank as agreed . Only to be charged $16 for gas. The employee Alex I think his name was . Was unhelpful in this regard. I will not be returning to uhaul ever again if this cannot be rectified. When I parked it it was on a hill and was charged unfairly. At this point I am paying $80 for a $19.99 truck. Only driving it 14 miles. This is not good business practices.
Joe PThe truck was dirty. This was not a huge concern for me at first. upon returning the vehicle I searched the cab to make sure I was not leaving anything behind. While doing this I found drug paraphernalia under the passenger seat. I then found (and photographed) what appeared to be a fentanyl pill. I say it appears to be as I have shown the photo to a friend in law enforcement and he identified it as such. MY GIRLFRIEND WAS SITTING ON THIS PILL FOR HOURS! This is a perfect example of why cleaning out your trucks is a safety issue. What would I have told a police officer if I had happened to get pulled over?....U-Hual put my safety in jeopardy and I want an explanation and apology.

Jonathan MMy reservation was for 11am. No one was there when I arrived. I later got to pick up because I called the emergency number and had also left messages. They had someone come in and rent the uhaul to me. I didnt check the inside and there was a loose dolly in there that I fear I will be charged for. I dropped off the uhaul and put the keys in the drop box. I can’t say that I would for sure use this location after waiting outside for assistance, and then having to come back later to pick up the uhaul.

Maziyar SNothing! This was the best Uhaul location I’ve ever rented from. In the last 3 months I’ve had to rent a truck they were the friendliest and quickest location. The last relocation screwed up fast. But with the pre check in and top notch customer service, I was out the door in 5 mins!

Yi LWhen dropping off the uhaul all Bay Area spots were taken by a group of people there. As well as most of the other parking spots. I had a 26’ truck which is not easily maneuverable, I asked if anyone could please move their vehicles so I could drop off my truck and I was greeted by an angry hostile woman who refused to and kept yelling at me. After 30 mins of waiting in the parking lot I tried to reason with the group again and this time a gentleman called me names and said he was “packing” and showed me his weapon holstered as a threat. I eventually left the truck halfway parked between the only two spots left and had to follow up send photos to customer service to show them how the party was parked and where I left my vehicle in case of worry of vandalizing after leaving.
ASHLEIGH QEverything went smooth and professional. Truck was full of gas and clean and ready to go. The whole process was excellent and the gal who was the clerk that day was helpful and friendly.
