The battery died 5 minutes after I picked up the truck. But I had a fast response when I called road side assistance to jump start it. The brakes didn't seen sold in good condition. I had to be braking at a much longer distance to stop the truck. The location was good. The service was great and fast. A+++

Room for improvement. I can't answer this question. I will start with Mr. Thetis, very professional and knowledgeable. Mr. Thetis was assisting another customer when i arrived. He acknowledge me the moment i open the door. Mr. Thetis , transaction with the customer took longer than expected and he continued to inform me that he would be right with me. This is the kind of customer service i like to see and experience. We need more customer service representatives like Mr. Thetis. If you don't do business with uhaul pass through and use they vending machine. Price are cheap. When was the last time you seen $1.00 soda in a vending machine. Mr. Thetis keep up the excellent customer service . You was very professional and you went above to satisfy me . I would definitely do business with this particular location. Located at 917 Sunset . Antioch Ca. I normally go to the Willow location but no more. Professional and knowledgeable plays a big part with any business. And this facility is clean and well maintained.

I was just charged $6 today (4/7/25) when I returned the truck on the 24th. Absolutely ridiculous. Secondly that is absolutely ridiculous is that the Uhaul rental facility said “right equipment ok time or $50 to you”. Yeah right. I am filling this out to see if Uhaul keeps their word. I sat and waited for 45 minutes while the pickup location didn’t have any trucks ready or any one to help. I drove away almost ONE hour after my reservation time and then you charge me $6. I don’t think so. You need to honor your $50 guarantee.

I returned Uhaul at 2:15pm on day rented. It was never returned by them in system and they charged me for 2 days. It has taken 4 phone calls and it’s still not resolved even though I was told the second day charged would be credited abd I would receive updated receipt. I still haven’t received it

Have someone in office to start. Our reservation was for 10:30am and no one was in the office when we arrived. I had to call the guest line and they called the area twice but could not get a response. Another customer walked in and said someone looked to work for the company that was outside and I went outside to ask him if he worked there and he was very curt and brusque. Did not appreciate having his attitude or having to wait and we didn’t get keys until 11am.

It has limited number of trucks. I ordered 15 ft one but got a 10 ft one instead. Also, they had no boxes or moving blankets at the Antioch location although it was advertised that they do. In addition, the battery in my truck drained super fast when I had a light on for about 30 minutes when we were unloading in the evening. When I called u-haul roadside assistance to get the battery jumped, they put me through hell before I was able to get someone come to jump the battery. Their questioning process is so cumbersome coming across as if they don’t believe the customer about what happened. Plus, the total allowed covered mileage is pretty limited to only 41 miles and whatever is above that limit is charged. Overall, we were not very happy with our experience. Not sure if we would rent U-haul again.

After several calls to to various phone #'s, being put through hell, no one was able to get me what I needed. I had received a verification code which needed to be activated which I did, the day before my move. Once on the phone with employees, it was clear they were not following SOP. I attempted to rent a 15ft Truck and if it was not available at my location specified then advise me of such. Do not state I am set up only to pickup 50 miles away. They kept sending me to Stockton and Tracy, Ca. I spoke with Monica, Anthony, and Scott. Scott finally set me up with $444.00 quote including the dolly. Upon pick up they charged $555.00. What my next step is will be to go to Yelp, BBB, and lodge a formal complaint. This was the worst service (except Scott), I have ever received. At least Scott was willing to lower the rental fee based on the incompetence of the other employees. They were so quick to rush through they failed in their tasks. A quote should include total amount including additional taxes/fees. I will not recommend UHaul to any of my friends and family members.

My issue is with U-Haul pricing. It was not clear what the pricing was for my reservation and seems like a scheme to make customers pay more than what was originally quoted. I ended up paying double what I was originally quoted in my reservation. I am very unhappy with price transparency of u haul and will be weary of U-Haul in the future.

The worst experience turning in a trailer, the two attendants were arguing in front of me, the guy just watched as I lifting up and wheeled in the 1500 lbs trailer. Worst experience ever.
