Amanda LIt was not the locations fault. The truck had a check engine and abs light on. It shook bad while driving and really needs some maintenance. The truck really should not even be on the road in this condition especially with the anti lock brake system malfunctioning. It is dangerous to drive!

PETERSON TAll the equipment we paid for was not in the back of the truck when we picked up. We called numerous times and told them we could not locate blankets from any local U-Haul dealer. Nobody cared and we didn’t get our money refunded. U-Haul customer service gets a 1 star rating.
Vanessa FSystem was down and rental procedure took an hour. We had to drive an hour to get the truck as none were available in my area.
Lisa JThe regional call center switched my pickup location from Milton Freewater to Pendleton (Airport Rd) 48 hours prior to the scheduled pickup and then to the Court Place location 24 hours prior to pickup. The Milton Freewater location was very helpful and understanding of this circumstance and offered to relocate a trailer from another location but noted the regional logistic office would have to be involved with that effort. When I called the regional call center, "Taylor" claimed nothing could be done to relocate a trailer to suit my needs. When I asked to speak to a manager, she said she would have a manager call me within 72 hours (essentially, making any resolution to this issue be too late). I've never received a call from U-haul management. Needless to say, I find Taylor to be nothing but a barrier to adequate customer service. What good is scheduling a rental well in advance when corporate U-haul changes the pickup location to suit their needs?

ROBIN MMy reservation was for 7am. I showed up at 7:30 and no one was there. Apparently I wad supposed to be able to pick up rhe key out of the lock box but I never received a code and the uhaul app was not working correctly. I finally got a truck by about 8:30. I signed up for insurance. I thought that would cover when I locked the keys in the truck. It doesn't. So now I owe $200
ANDREW SWas charged more then what was agreed upon. Didn't go over miles and cleaned out the uhaul. There was an almost 20 dollar difference with no information as to why it was more
Scarlette SMy confirmation said to pick up at the airport location . After quite a wait I finally spoke with an agent who had no record of me and no truck! But he finally found my reservation and phoned Western Radiator, who did have a truck for me. The woman at Western was great: knowledgeable, efficient, friendly, quick, helpful. Thank you!

donna-louann hI think the customer service with helping when my door got stuck was amazing ! However when getting the uhaul I thin in rual area more miles should be given or another way should be calculated for this because it just feels like I’m being ripped off mileage Uhaul should DO Better for its customers a 19.95 move doesn’t exist unless your going one block. Are you joking me

William Mthis is not western radiator but (U-Haul )Straps not long enough for tires. Had to drive to harbor freight-Hermiston, to make Our vehicle and truck and trailer secure. Did not know psgr wiper was jimmied with hair tie. Went thru summit, and wiper broke and big storm. very scary. We were charged $123.xx with extra milage, who knew miles from Pendleton and Kent Wa. were an issue and charged for how Extra miles? We paid for extra day and insurance for sleep and safety. We were not told about extra mileage. We just went to breakfast and took our time home. within 24 hours. We paid for extra day. We are Very Thankful to find box truck and trailer after a couple trys.

Whitney KI walked in spur of the moment for a small truck. Ty stopped what he was doing on the automotive side of his business, totally friendly and helpful, was patient when there was a glitch with my payment method and helped me find a solution, explained the contract and my obligations clearly, handed me the keys and wished me well. It was 100% a pleasant transaction. I had the truck back in 23 hours, dropped the keys in the box. Would rent from this business again.

Lydia HIt took about 20 minutes to do the online check out process through mobile app. The worst part was getting the key from lock box, it was hard to open with the code then being short didn't helping reaching it.

Jaryd AWhen it came time to return the truck, the headache persisted with no information on reservations because as stated above, we got rental without the technological reservation. A new ticket had to be created, along with numerous calls and clarifications AND another monetary transaction that was to be credited as soon as the double was found. It was a frustrating experience but evermore bc of numerous transactions with moving altogether. Hoping U-Haul has better training for their workers in case this time of thing should happen again.

adam jBoth tMike, the manager at the Ogden Utah U-Haul, and Ty, the proprietor at Western radiator, were excellent. Ty took responsibility for that dolly and fixed both fenders which is the way it should’ve been done. Parker at the Alameda store was ineffective, defensive, and rude. He shifted the blame to me instead of taking responsibility for sticking me with a lemon. Employees like that ruin a good business.
