We were supposed to pick up a truck and auto hauler in Osage Beach. The day before our pick up, we received a call saying we had to go to Versailles to pick up (1 hour away). We got there at 10:30 a.m., as we were told they open at 10 a.m. (we were supposed to pick up at 9 a.m. in Osage Beach). No one was there. We had to call a number taped to the window several times before the gentleman answered then finally came. At 11 a.m., we discover he has the truck, but not the auto hauler. For that, we have to go TWO hours away, Dixon, to get that. So now we spent 5 hours of our day we were supposed to be moving just driving around to pick up the truck and auto hauler. In exchange, the gal the Versailles gentleman called gave us a measly $50 off, which barely covered the extra gas we used driving all over. And didn't even come close to the TWO extra hours we had to pay the movers, as they sat and did nothing, waiting for the truck to arrive.

LISA FI am surprised that the truck with all of the damage and 113,003 miles was still in service with U-haul. Although the box of the truck was badly beaten up, it was a very good running truck. This was the 4th truck that I have rented from U-haul in the past three months. It was the most expensive rental and the worst truck of the four.

Earl BNever had an issue with the pick up place. They were great there! My original reservation did not get fulfilled. There was no truck to pick up at the Rolla location where we originally wanted to pick up from. Had to call a U-Haul representative & had to travel all the way to Dixon to pick up a truck! Extra miles were supposed to b put on account because of the traveling we did not intend to do, but they were not added on! We were still charged with extra miles!
