This location is very cramped.
Will H.I had some trouble getting the truck started on the way back to drop it off. It was empty and I went to the gas station to top it up before returning it. After fueling, the engine wouldn't start. Another person at the gas station checked the battery with his jumper cables which read battery condition. He stated the battery was low and gave me a jump. The truck started immediately and had no further problems getting back. I did have my phone calling roadside assistance, but they hadn't answered in the time it took to get a jump, so I hung up and drove. The truck was not left with headlights or radio on at any time.

Kim J.We dropped the truck off on Labor Day, so the business was closed. Being able to do the drop off via the phone was wonderful. It was easy to follow the instructions and take care of it without the business being open.
KWIN ALLEN W.The staff at this location was wonderful but it would have been nice if the equipment was at our requested pickup location, having to go two hours out of the way to pick up the truck was less than ideal. AC in truck would freeze up and not work, working AC is nice to have on a 100 degree day.
Dylan B.When I arrived on Monday 2 days before the equipment was to be turned in, I asked them if they could please remove the tow dolly, and returned it, and she said would remove it from my inventory. I was late turning in the truck and was charged a late fee for the tow dolly that was turned in 2 days prior stressing my already stressed budget, so was charged late fees for truck and tow dolly. Not so cool.
Jerrolyn J.I had reserved 2 furniture dolly, only one was available at the pickup location. I had confirmed the order 3 times before the pickup day based on the reputation of Wyoming U-Haul. I had to drive ~100 miles in my personal car to Casper to get the second dolly while my piano moving crew (2@$100/hour) waited! Unacceptable U-Haul!

Very poor for Ihaul to have such a difficult computer system. Does not help your customers to come back.

robert H.This isn't a comment against this location. It's something that was disappointing. I I I rented a car dolly, I organized it through my drop off location because web site isn't that great. Apparently there is two different sizes. The web site shows one. I had to drive 1.5 hours out of my way to pick it up because the location I tried for didn't have the one I needed. If this was known prior I would have picked a location on the way of travel along I-80. The website needs to be clear on sizes and what is recommended up front. It put me 4 hours behind doing this. The location was very helpful when I was there but this is not there fault that uhaul isn't clear.

Belinda A.Have things available in the location where they were supposed to be. Don't have the Steve (whatever his name) ( The WY. manager guy) speak to customers. He is rude and very unprofessional. I spent way to much time and money chasing all of the equipment we rented, I had to go to 3 separate locations that spanned 214 miles.

Except the Cheyenne first site, when I went to pick up my original reserved order, I was being told, that I had not ordered a vehicle trailer by the dealer, I told him that was not true. He argued with me rather than looking it up. Then told us at any piece reserved can be rented out from under us. Finally he agreed to look it up and told us our vehicle trailer was at a different location. The only thing I can say positive of the first site is he did locate a truck in Wheatland WY. The truck was not big enough according to your Ad online. We ended up having to drive an hour and a half to pick up a larger truck in Wheatland WY. This next dealer was kind and considerate and offered us an extra day since the first had been rude. I appreciated her kindness. She said you don't pay until the end of the trip. I assured her that was not true, and brought up my bank account online and showed it to her where the amount had been deducted from my bank account. She couldn't believe it. At this point I told her it didn't matter, and I appreciated her service, but not your 800 service number of associates, nor the dealer where I was told had my complete order. We then went to the 3rd dealer with the vehicle trailer was absolutely great and reassured us the trailer would not be given or rented underneath us. Due to all the delays, we were late loading the truck and delayed leaving as we had planned. You have a few good dealers, others not, nor your dispatch office needs to work on interpersonnel practices. You should send them to a refresher course in interpersonnel practices. Our return of the equipment went well at our destination. You asked if I would recommend you, the answer is No. I have used U-haul many times in the past with great success and excellent dealers. I do not know what happened to the company, but overall it has significantly declined. Pam L Byrnes

John M.The unit had just over 1500 miles on it when I received it. The cab reeked of cigarette smoke and dog. It had dog hair all over the cab and the windows were smeared with dog snot. I found uneaten food under the seats. As far as the box, I had to sweep it out prior to use.
