The check in process took to long After taking photos of driving license the app then asked for a referral, or passport or another form. This could have been done prior to the rental as took over 15 mins to get approved and I was trying to catch a ferry

FRED LWould have appreciated better communication about the vehicle. The location I order the van from told me they did not have it, but a different location did (which is fine). However, neither location had the van I ordered and I had to drive a box truck. That was never communicated. The dolly I ordered was not in the van, though I do appreciate the refund after I called. Again, clear communication would be appreciated. I had to call a dozen times to ask many questions, so I am grateful for their help.

Yevgeniy vThis location appears to frequently be closed during normal business hours. Also, the truck we rented, while it was clean and did what we needed, is really showing it's age. It wanders badly on the road. It was fine for local use, but shouldn't be used for longer moves.

Doreen JThe truck was clean and did not have the scent of cigarettes! The truck engine was smooth running and the steering was tight; tires in good shape with no flat spots. One negative: I requested a furniture dolly and it was not provided. I had to send several messages to U Haul to get that charge taken off my bill.
Douglas WWe really like the fellow that runs this uhaul store, he is always happy to accommodate our needs whenever possible. We do try to speak to him personally rather than leave a voice mail message because he is so busy, he is by himself so doesn't always call back. His hours are aren't always as stated on the website but otherwise he's great.
Doreen JWas supposed to get a trailer then had to get a truck and the location that I was sent too nobody was there and we waited for over 30 minutes. So got sent to a different location and then everything got better friendly staff and was able to get on the road. But had to spend more money and it took way more time than it should.

Kristin PI have used Whidbey Oil several times and generally have been happy with service. This particular time I had to set up a reservation with only about an hour notice. The site said the trailer was available and I arrived at the prescribed time, but nobody was there. The UHaul rental at Whidbey Oil is a side business and with only one person. That person was on an oil delivery and did not arrive back at the Rental location until after I had waited 45 minutes. I understand that Whidbey Oil cannot afford to be on site 100% of the time, but I do believe there should be someway for a person renting equipment to know if someone is going to be there at the prescribed time ... perhaps some text notification. JOE NI had a terrible experience doing business with UHaul! My vehicle was not available at the time I needed it and I had to drive nearly three hours each way to pick it up. I think it is at the very least, deceptive to have customers select dates and times and locations in advance and then call them the day before pickup to inform them that the vehicle would not be available as implied when making the reservation. This is tantamount to fraud and was extremely inconvenient and problematic and caused great difficulty for me and others!!! I would never use UHaul again! Deceptive business practices!!!
Jeffrey GThis location was very helpful and had my truck ready. The problem was dispatch failed to notify me where I was supposed to pick up the truck and I needed a truck to be in Ferndale, 99 miles away, in order to load up and then drive to Clinton not pick up and drop off in the same city. Dispatch did not want to help me and I had to demand some assistance to fix a problem that wasn’t the dealers fault or my own.

Christopher AThe fella at this location totally came through big time and deserves a lot of credit as a problem solver. Even though I made my reservation in advance, Uhaul didn't have my truck which cost me dearly in both time and expense. The upside is that Uhaul provided a very good rate and mileage to compensate. What cannot be compensated (and it's considerable) is my time and the cost of my helper.

Michael SThe onsite UHaul representative was very helpful and courteous, and was exactly what I needed as the website crashed when I was trying to check the truck back in (the online chat said noone was available). I like the idea/convenience of the website/phone app but to help the next customer I'd suggest testing the app more and fixing the issues with it.
TIMOTHY AStop having people in your corporate "traffic" department making commitments that the "locally owned and operated" facility owner's refuse to accept. This was one of the worst interactions I've had with any entity. I will be looking for alternatives in the future.
