My problem is with the Company itself not the provider. My card was charged twice I did not bring the truck back to Lake city it was left in Columbia south Carolina on Elmwood St. as requested in my text message. Then on the 13th I was charged another 113.00 and cents for additional millage that I did not drive. I also called the 800 # and spoke with someone and they stated that this matter was being resolved but instead my card was charge again. I had to have my bank watch to see if I would be charged twice and it was. So I had my card cancelled. This is poor management with a customers bank account and I had my Bank to put in a dispute for the other charge. In the future you should make sure you are charging customers for the correct. millage. ThanksStella M.

It took quite a while for the customer service representative to even acknowledge me and then she couldn't find the proper paperwork. She then gave me keys and told me to go to the first truck, this was the incorrect truck for the key I was given, I had to figure out which truck myself luckily there were only two. Then I had to back the truck out of a long drive without any assistance as the customer service representative seemingly disappeared. On top of that the truck I received had a dirty cab, it had a few items of trash, a receipt for some type of vehicle service, and the entire side of the truck was scratched up. I did not know that a text would be sent to me to report this until it was too late. Then I drove around the building to get the tow dolly hooked up for me and they did not hook it up properly (I again did not know this until I reached my destination where I was told it was improperly hooked up and could have killed or seriously injured me or another driver.)Alexis S.
I opted out of the additional insurance when I pre-paid online because my insurance covered the truck and Dollie my car was on. I was charged an additional $93.00 when I picked up the truck. I didn't read the slip until already moving and they added on the insurance that I didn't need. The ratchet straps on the tow dolly were rusted enough so I couldn't tighten them completely until I greased them. next time I'll probably pay a little more and go with another rental company.Scott G.

The location I dealt with was ok. It's UHaul I have the problem with, after making reservations 3 days in advanced online, when time come to pick up the Truck from the pickup location. The truck was not available. I had to go online and change my pickup location and drive to the next city over to pick up a truck. After going through all the unnecessary BS I was 1 1/2 hours behind schedule. I used to use uhaul a good bit, but it seems uhaul has went to shit. Yesterday was my last time using uhaul. If I would have had enough time and other options I wouldn't have used them yesterday. Uhaul get your shit together or you're gonna lose even more businessEric C.

Lady that answered phone and worked the desk was unhelpful, rude, and cost me extra money due to her negligence. When I initially called to reserve a truck, she couldn't get the U-Haul website to pull up to make my reservation. No big deal, so I asked her what I would need to do or what she could do, thinking possibly she could write down the order or call U-Haul customer service. She informed me that there was nothing she could do, and that I should try to figure it out on my own. Also, I got charged extra money because when I brought the truck to the return site it said based on the miles she had written down for the truck (that I never saw her look at) was 50 miles more than what I had rented the truck for, for a one way from Lake City to Myrtle Beach. So I had to pay for that. She also had written that the gas tank had a quarter more tank of gas than it did when we received the truck. The guy I had helping me load the truck and drive it to the beach thought to take a picture of the gas tank before we left and when we showed the timestamp to the ending location to prove the amount of gas that was in the truck when we received it he waved us having to pay the penalty fees for returning the truck with less fuel. I regret that my friend didn't think to take a picture of the mileage, as we didn't realize how that was handled or calculated. Also when I called to inquire with her about possibly switching to a different size truck, she was short informed me that she had a customer in the store and that she did not have time to help me and I would just have to take what I got. I would never recommend someone dealing with this lady.Julia A.

The truck did not have dirt but smelled like dirty diapers and that is being very nice. The trucked was in dire need of a good and thorough cleaning and deodorizing. Thankfully my husband took a picture of the beginning mileage as they gave an incorrect mileage and were going to charge about $100 more but with his picture he was able to get that corrected. Overall was very dissatisfied with the truck.Debbie S.

The truck was dirty and had ants on the in side of the cab. The windshield wipers did not work well at all.Terry H.
I reserved a 26 foot truck. When I got there to pick up the truck I was told that truck was unavailable. If I had received a call ahead of time I could have made other arrangements. This caused our move have to be done in several trips. When we got to our house and open the truck up there was candy stuck to the floor, A cockroach fogger, and several dead cockroaches as well as live cockroaches. When we picked up the truck we were instructed to have it swept out and clean upon return however we were not paid the same courtesy from the previous renters. If time was not of the essence I would have taken the truck up there and canceled my order. However we had to be moved in a day and needed the truck. I had to clean the back of the truck out before we could load our stuff in it . I could not get all of the sticky candy off the floor so some of our stuff has red candy all over it. I can only hope and pray no cockroaches got into our stuff also. Not only do we not get the truck that I reserved, I did not get a phone call to tell me that truck was unavailable, and the truck we did get stuck with was cockroach infested. This is not what was needed to add to an already stressful move.ALLY M.
