I did not use the truck as it was filthy and there wasn't a dolly available. I rented the truck to move appliances.

Martin Luther King location was the drop off but when i reserved the truck a deal with a storage popped up for 1618 San Jacinto so i thought that meant you could return it to the same location. When talking to customer service they advised me at the desk i could go to unload into my storage wheni arrived from Louisiana. It was my first time so i didnt have a key yet and the location would be closed whn i arrived in to Houston. A female associate advised that i could upload my drivers license to a link she was sending and could send someone to pick up my storage key. Ipicked up the truck on 9/15 and the contraxct stated i was to return the moving truck on 9/17 at 2pm. The night i arrived i called the number to inquire about thetruck return because the signs posted were confusing. The associate stated if i wanted to return it the night of 9/15 she would have to edit my reservation and it would be another charge and that if i wasnt out of the garage by 10pm it would lock me inside. I was moving from Louisiana and spending the night at a friends house who came to assiste me to unpack the truck. After i couldnt unload i had to drive the truck to an unsafe location and park it on the street with my stuff and the truck unable to lock with all of my personal belongings until the morning. I returned to teh storage to unload the truck, and retrunedit to the MLK location where it isnt an associate and i went to the gas stationand put the gas back in the same exact spot and they still charged me $13 and i still didnt get my deposit nack on my card that the assocaite stated would come right back on as soon as i returned the truck. This was my first and worst experience with Uhaul and im never renting a Uhaul truck ever again. THe last associate that assisted me was very nice and helpful and apologized. Everyone else all kept saying different stuff and kept saying they didnt even know the ansers to my questions and kept referring to the app that didnt answer either question and that wasnt helpful. I wasoutside downtown at night trying to figure it out over an hour crying in a uhaul gagrage. i definitely would not recommend a friend to uhaul services

Everything was fine but I was charged $9.00 something for gas and i put gas back in it where it was when i retrieve this vehicle.

Have the vehicle easily available. If it is a mobile phone check-in, make it accessible. Provide the equipment that was reserved. It took over an hour to get my rental and I did not get the equipment I reserved. Then instead of possibly offering me a discount to drive to another location, the only option offered was to drive, using my own mileage, to another location, pay for another rental, and wait to see if I get reimbursed. Horrible experience.

This is an unattended location. Everything is done online. I had problems signing into/creating an account. I was here 50 minutes trying to get the truck. Return was a lot easier, but I will only use manned location if necessary in the future. Additionally my original reservation was at a manned location. That reservation was changed because the former individual extended the rental and there wasn’t another truck I. The size I reserved available.
