The U-haul cell phone app is useless. Pictures never get uploaded through my cell phone. With the cold weather to do all the pre-checking outdoor, it is not decirable while we need to do all 50 times of upload and still failing. Until we call the call center to give us a link through email. then to do all the upload through the link instead of the Apps from cell phone. Also, returning the truck will do the same. very disappointing with U-Haul .
Siu KBiggest opportunity for improvement IMO would be to have the vehicle released to any given customer with a FULL fuel tank. Customer would return vehicle with a FULL fuel tank. Very easy for the user and they would know exactly how much was spent on fuel without ‘guessing’ at the fuel pump trying to match what was left from the previous use. I am pretty sure that I have previously rented from ‘the friendly competition’ who make this their policy and it makes for an easier / simpler process.

KESTER BCheck in/ out staff were very friendly and helpful. The rental was nearly new, only 24,000 however the drivers side floor had mud all over and the windshield and side windows were very dirty. So dirty I had to stop and clean them myself.

PAPA NI rent the U-haul two day on the road , the frist day they give me the wrong vehicle, because when I open the information and try to take a picture with the vehicle, then I find out , by the way the staff give us a call , to telling us it is no problem. That is very un-professional ,but the staff so kindly. The second day , yesterday your website was so slow, somehow I need to fill up all information again , I don’t know why ! Well after I pick up the vehicle in about 20 mins , someone call me the phone number is 647-5930524 but he didn’t tell me the name , he just telling me I can’t drive the vehicle but is your staff say everything is ok , she give me the key , The guy the way to talk to me was so so uncivilized! Very very disrespectful and unprofessional!
Lai-Lin LU-Haul pickup was much easier than I expected! The staff, especially Kayla, was very kind and helpful, making the whole process smooth and stress-free. I scheduled the pickup online in less than 5 minutes, and the check-in was super easy — most steps and photos could be done right on my phone with just a few taps. They also have a designated parking area outside the dealership gate, which made it convenient to drop off the truck after hours and pick up my car. The drop box for key return made the whole process even easier. I’ll definitely come back if I need another U-Haul. Highly recommended!
