This location had a good appearance, clean and well maintained. Did a remote pick up that went mostly smoothly. My only complaint is I ordered a dolly and furniture pads which were not put in the truck. This was noted, with a photo, in the remote check-in process. I did not have time to wait for the location to open. Despite check-in question about my items, the photo of an empty truck, and a call to U-haul customer service within a few business days, I have still not yet received a refund for the items I never received.
Tristan KLocation not set up for regular service. Ordered furniture blankets, none on site or at another site nearby. Truck cargo area was extremely dirty. Previous user had hauled something wet and muddy. Guy at office heloed me sweep it but had to thoroughly clean it at home before use.

LUIS PThese comments are not reflective of the location or its staff rather the app experience while picking up the truck. This is the second time using the app to pick up a rental from u-haul over the app. Both experiences have been horrible. Multiple freezes, lockups, inability to satisfy the photo expectations, wrong error messages, verification calls to another party phone number not ringing long enough to answer multiple times. This latest experience with the app-pickup took 45 minutes to get the truck checked out and on the road. Highly disappointing when a regular customer has an online profile and the have provided valid payment and reliable history with the company to take this long to go through so many hoops! Will never use the app again!!

DANIELLE BWhen looking for the pick up site on maps a different location shows up on 99E. This location is closed on the weekends. This is confusing for people using this location for the first time. Also, the pricing is misleading. In town does not mean the Portland metropolitan area. The cost was twice as much than we expected.

Gary WLast month I had a friend Jim who's truck broke down in Woodburn Oregon utilize my credit card to cover expenses to rent a u-haul to bring supplies down for a fundraising event in Southern California I was putting on. I anticipated the expenses to be around around $300 with potentially a few extra hundred for overages for the Friday July 19 - Tuesday July 23 rental. I checked my credit card statement after the event and the amount was $2,115.79 for the 5 day rental and mileage! I will personally cover these completely unexpected increases in expenses. Is there any way that part of those charges can be minimized or reconsidered given the extended circumstances that would be a huge blessing. - AC was not working on the truck (temperatures on the drive were close to 110 degrees) - The additional $1 per mile was not addressed at time of rental I contacted the u-haul customer service line and they would not assist me in this issue and said to have a nice day.
