The guy was nice upon arriving. l returned the equipment within an hour to move a small furniture piece. Maybe, these people are use to a certain type of person, or personality because l was asked did I want my receipt emailed? l said no, l'll wait. I finally got it l noticed the extra charge of the same as l paid to use the equipment. He asks whats wrong I stated what this? Sales taxes isn't this much it's 6% in Michigan. No, l wouldn't recommend if you're charging dollar for dollar being dishonest and truthful in business thinking l wasn't going to read my paperwork.

Need somewhere to keep vehicle safe at site (no cameras) people- hanging around bothering others ,reserved truck not available. could not adjust passenger mirror for right side traffic. long time between waiting on store customers and waiting to get truck.

There was not type of customer assistance. It was hard to get the lock off no instruction. When I returned the vehicle my phone had died and the rep said that was the only way to return it so i may have to do a dispute on my card for extra charges. I will never rent again from uhal. If you don't want to have a actual business in Detroit then leave.

The u haul location was hard to find no signs advertising it was a U-Haul. Located inside a gas station. Looked and felt very unsafe. Tried to explain problems I encountered. Only to be told he just takes the keys they'll email you the next day.

Arrived early to pick up truck. And we were serviced last. We had no idea the pickup location was a Small gas station. Also the gas station clerk had a CHILD putting our PERSONAL information and credit card Information into the system and told us "you have to be patient because I'm the only one here" (even though there was another adult behind the counter) The location reaked of urine and other human waste. The clerk did not complete a pre or post trip inspection of the vehicle. Thankfully we were able to get our things moved in time. Unfortunately we may not be using U-Haul in the near future.

I was disheartened by the fact that I was responsible for a bill that was not mine. The rep never went outside to verify or confirm the beginning mileage prior to me driving off the lot. He tried to state that I drove an additional 11 miles when in fact I had not. I even showed him proof. I was horrified! It wasn't about the money, but the principal of telling me that I was responsible for something I wasn't. The driver door didn't have a lock, the truck jerked as I drove it, the truck was seriously in bad shaped which caused me to get the insurance IN CASE they tried to say that previous damage was my fault. I will NEVER do business with them again!

Have respect for Uhaul customers not just your daily customers that visit the mini mart! Have an updated computer instead of handling business on a cell phone! Had to wait almost 2 hrs to get truck even though I made reservation days earlier.

Respect everyone who patronizes your business regardless of your potentially warped perceptions or assumptions about them, their ethnicity, gender, or social status. Do not yell at a paying customer, it is rude and disrespectful. I will let others know about this treatment, and the corporate offices of U-Haul. I will never spend another dime with this location, and they are not worthy of the franchise name.

Clerk stated system was down but it was not because Uhaul called me to confirm if I still needed the truck. He did the paperwork by hand and took forever. After I returned the truck with a full tank he was gone. The next day I was told there was a $11.00 fuel charge and $31.00 for mileage. Neither of which are true so I lost my deposit and will never go to them again. Next time going with Budget.

I requested a dolly and was charged for it. When we arrived at my home the dolly was not in the truck. I had to pay somebody else to use their dolly. When a I returned the Uhaul truck, I explained that we never received the dolly and politely asked to remove the charges. The man became very rude and still charged me for the dolly claiming his guy swears the dolly was placed in the truck. I will never, ever use Uhaul services ever again. This man was rude and belligerent to me in front of my children and I was still charged for something I never used!

This location is a random gas station in Highland Park. There were several other locations that were probably closer and safer, but the call center was unable to identify these after 2 calls. I ended up researching myself and found this place that was not an actual Uhaul center. The owner was however very kind and helpful. the place was just a bit sketchy.

There was only one person there, so I waited for a few minutes. That was ok, but when the second person got there he took his time to start helping out. But the guy Mike who helped me out was very nice.

I was scheduled to get the U-Haul at 7:00am. The guy did not get there until 830am. It screwed up my entire day and I should get a refund.

They overcharged us. We were told that the gas tank was on half so bring it back on half and that is exactly what we did and they still charged us a fee of $30 to fill up the tank. We also was not happy about the location of the uhaul. When we got there we found out it was out of a gast station run by a 1 man who kept pushing us to the side to get to his other customers buying gas. Our reservation was set for 9 am and we didn't get our truck until almost 11am because we had to wait until it died down enough for him to get to us. Needless to say we will never ever use this location again. So if that means we have to travel a further distance to get to another uhaul than so be it.

Well we received the trailer at a gas station instead of an actual U-Haul dealer. The gas attendant didn't have any help so we had to wait at least 30 minutes. It wasn't the most convienent but overall the service was great.

I had to wait outside in the heat for the guy to come out to help us and then he told me that he was by himself and could not give me anything saying that I had turned it and he told me that he would email it to me later on and I still have not received it yet
