Do not have clients check in online then make them do it all over when they get there to get the uhaul. Also, the "office" was a camper and the person running it just comes and goes making pick up and drop off difficult. The unit itself was rickety and a brake light was out, had only a half thank of gas. I just found it to be a very half axx experience.Michelle Lynn T.

The pricing is very deceiving. I was told on the phone that the trailer I rented would be around $30 and before I left it ended up being $119 and it's puts you in a bind cause you need it. I was sent to a lot with no people there. I was unable to get confirmation by phone that I had a truck as I was notified by text. After approximately four hours and 10 phone calls I got someone to answer the phone number while I was at the truck lot. I had to drive another 10 minutes to their office before returning to pick up the truck. The office was in shambles. It looks like a hoarders house. It was so impressive that I took pictures to share with friends and familyâ€¦let me know if you want to see them. It was like the twilight zone. Took over an hour to pick up once I was at the initial address I was given. Moving is stressful enoughâ€¦.didn't need that experience.Carlisle W.
Make sure someone is at location to pick up. Had to go to diffrent location to do paper work then back to platt springs rd to be up truck. Was not clean at all and paper work was not up to date to equipment. Poor service on uhaul for trying to fix these issues .MISTY P.
The office is extremely dirty and smells like urine. The people are very nice and accommodating. The office is disgusting. They need to clean, someone needs to make them clean. Its beyond gross!! I listed one of my houses on airbnb, and needed some items, only to go to the location to find out that my box had been moved to another location, WITHOUT GIVING ME ANY NOTIFICATION. I get to the next location, only to find out that my box wasnt in the system. Literally took 3 hours to figure out what was going on. In that time, my help had to leave, which left me to lift furniture ALONE, with no help. A female lifting full bed headboard, footboard and a chifferobe. THEN on top of that - they are double billing me. Absolutely the WORST experience ever.Lester Y.

I reserved and paid for a truck two weeks before I needed it. When I went to pick up the truck I was told "THEY GAVE IT AWAY THE DAY BEFORE!" This sent me to a more remote (inconvenient) location to get another truck. Meanwhile, this delay costs me the hourly fee of two laborers waiting to help me move. The truck made loud creaking and whistling noises. I was unsure the entire time I was driving it that it was going to break down (which added to the stress of the experience). I feel that UHaul should offer me a credit of (at least) the amount it cost me to have idle laborers standing around as I was sorting out a reservation that had been botched by the location.John L.

The time on the website said they opened at 10:30, I arrived at 9:45 so that I could pick up the equipment I rented. The night before I used the online check in making sure the process was smooth. There were two customers ahead of me (they opened early). I was only third in line yet it took TWO And 1/2 hours for the dealer to process three customers. After going through the pre registration and filling out all the forms, the dealer said he didn't have them and SLOWLY filled out all new paperwork. This delay caused me to have to pay the movers for an hour of sitting and waiting. The secondary problem there was the office, which was inside a run down, dirty, poorly maintained mobile home with sanitation and pest control issues. Not a pleasant experience, However, the owner and the staff were very nice and helpful and I did get a good truck.Blake Corwin F.

U was charged an additional $48.10 in my bank account after another 38.10 amd 48.09 was already charged. This uhaul agent is unprofessional and unclean. The operation is run out of a trailer full of junk and they are ridiculously slow. I reserved a truck at 9 am and didn't leave with a truck until almost 11 am. Multiple customers left and the ones that stayed were highly upset. He also promised a discount for me to change from a one way to bring the truck back and did not give my discount. After 4/12/21 I'm reporting to the Better Business Bureau because I was cheated out of money and not served well at all.devon F.

Well I booked it online to avoid going inside. He doesn't do that had to go in and he had to do everything manually.I showed him the online message he said that doesn't work and the price was higher than originally quoted online. They charged me twice one the online price at 38 dollars and the 45 dollars he put in. I just got the 38 reversed back to me. But then charged 6 dollars for something elseDrifford B.

People were friendly but the equipment was in very poor condition. I paid almost $400 for a truck that had cigarette ashes all over it and pulled to the right because of low tire pressure. I wouldn't advise anyone to use uhaul because of the rip off tactics. I was advised to pay an extra $14 a day when I'm already insured and my insurance would pay for any damages. The pressure comes from a place where I would be fully responsible for paying the out right charges of the damages upfront upon returning the vehicle. Uhaul has changed over the years and it's not for the best for the customer. I'm recommending future customers go elsewhere.
