ROGER DThe Truck cabin was soiled and cup holders filled with some kind of grease. The number of furniture pads wasn't given to me upon rental and when I arrived to drop the truck a day early the office was closed 18 minutes before close.
ASHER TI was having trouble with other reservations and the mobile process so change reservation to the Broadway site in Newburgh. The employee who helped me was quick and direct and really made the process very smooth. I recommended him and that location to my parents for future use.
Louis CDon’t understand why there’s not some sort of lever on your 6 x 12 trailers to take it off your hitch. How was the person supposed to unhook that trailer by themselves makes no sense otherwise service and trail was excellent.

JAMES ZBecause this company is not a Uhaul company so they don’t have to be there or be able to help you they are just being a contractor with uhaul so they don’t have to do anything put check the truck and get the money.
ROBERT POur experience was disappointing. We had reserved a 20 foot truck; one was there and available. Our disappointment and the reason for our giving the average rating is based on the fact that the extra items we had reserved were not available and time was of the essence. The movers were arriving shortly and we needed to get back home. the reservation individual suggested that we go to the New Windsor location, and they would have all the materials on hand. Time was of the essence, and we did not have the time to go to New Windsor before the movers showed up. perhaps we should have been directed to New Windsor initially. The reservation person at 660 was apologetic and understood our dilemma. Therefore, he should not be 100% responsible for the lack of the reserved materials. He did try to be accommodating---I give him credit for that.

BONNIE LTruck was fairly clean but pick up process was difficult. There was some garbage in the truck and some broken glass that we did not notice until we starting loading our furniture.

Vince NIf rental is for 24 hours but the person said if they get done the same day they will return same day but don’t finish same day please don’t call my house 9 in morning asking were the truck is and I have till 2 pm to return the truck it made me feel like you didn’t trust me to bring the truck back or like I was stealing the truck it’s not good business

JANE EI dented the van while renting (and I had purchased insurance coverage)...when I brought the van back to return and I told Eric, he cussed, rolled his eyes at me, lit a cigarette, "passive aggressively" blew smoke into my face as we walked out to look at the damage, and tried to make me feel terrible!!! That I ruined his already crappy Saturday, and he already had too many other troubles to take care of!!! Then he "tried" to tell me that my insurance wouldn't cover the dent, that only a traffic collision complete with a police report would be covered, so he continued to try and intimidate me. I've never been treated with such unprofessional behavior!!!

Scott LI got there at exactly 7am. They don't open until 9 am. I said no problem, I'll park it and drop off the key. Here's the problem, WHERE was I supposed to park it? The entrance was blocked by U-Haul trucks and cars. There was no way to get onto the property. I finally drove around the back and there was a little space on the property to park it there. The problem with that, when I tried to do the on-line check in, the area could not be picked up so therefore I could not complete the check in. After numerous attempts I finally called U-Haul. Thankfully the agent I spoke to, said she would note on my record the time I actually dropped the truck off. 15 minute check in! Took me 30 minutes if not more.
DEBORAH RInside was dirty, I had to sweep clean before starting to pack.

Jason Tparking was a bit of a challenge for evening dropoff but luckily found one spot. location was straightforward, and i had no exchange with staff as it was after hours.
BART KThis location was closed when I went to drop off my truck. The driveway was blocked so you couldn’t get in. I had to park the truck in near by parking lot to return it and they didn’t have a drop box for the key. I just placed mine in the mail slot on the door.

Domingo H1. There was a noise when turning the steering wheel, as if it was running without power steering fluid. 2. The doors unlocked automatically while on the move. There was a noise from the lock on all the doors as if it was trying to automatically unlock the door which was already unlocked. 3. Gas consumption was higher than what I usually am used to. I understand that this would be based on the driving style, but I rent this same make and model from uhaul about 2-3 times a month and usually get 16+ miles to a gallon. In this case it was 14. 4. There was a Crack on the windshield which I submitted pictures of when I did the initial 'before you go' check.
