Make sure that the vehicle is at the location on the proper date, so that I don’t have to drive two hours to find out my vehicle isn’t there and have to scramble to find another. I was told that I would get a $50 credit for the inconvenience, which I have not seen. The whole experience was pitiful at best. Will not use the company again. U-haul should be embarrassed
Jeremy RI was scheduled to pick up at 10:00 am. I got there a few minutes early. At 10;00 no one showed up. Luckily the business across the street had the U-Haul business owner’s cell number. He was at home and I had to wait for him to come to the business. When he got there the process went smoothly. Just was not impressed that I had to call to get the owner to come open up.
Debbie RNo one was there at my pickup time and I had to call the regional office for them to get in touch. I waited an additional 20 minutes once the guy finally got there because the truck wasn’t ever checked back in from the previous renter. The lock on the driver’s side door was wiggling and felt like it may fall out. The interior smelled like tobacco smoke and body odor. The interior was dirty. The truck was out of gas so I had to immediately fill it up after pickup. My previous experience with Mike’s towing in LaGrange was good. I’d go there if possible.
David HLocation was a grass field up a big hill. Attendant was really nice and helpful.
Samuel DThe truck was roach infested when we opened it up! I have video. Had to spray it completely with bug spray. I also had to purchase a hitch adapter ($20.32) because it was missing from the truck. I expect a refund.

Kate OThis location saved our event because no one around Auburn or Opelika had a truck available even though I had ordered one. I was sent a text the day before that not only my location was changed but the time pickup was changed to a time that would not work. Yardi was very easy to work with and very accommodating. The location is a little scary though.
Melissa RThis was just an empty lot, poor signage, with a steep slope and nothing to use for chocks. There was no identifiable office and no people around, even though it was supposed to be a 24-hour operation
Edward HNo one available when I returned the truck. I should have been charged one day but was charged for two. Second poor experience at two different locations the past 3 months. U-Haul training seems to have slipped in the past couple of years
