OVERALL, my U-Haul experience was absolutely terrible. Corporate completely disregarded my reservation requests that were made more than a month in advance and changed location (to a completely different TOWN) and I did not end up with a dolly. Will not use U-Haul again. However, the location I ended up with (Yog) in Junction City, KS was phenomenal. They did everything they could to make up for corporate's mistakes and poor customer service. THANK YOU, YOG!!!!

I had to come all the over from Manhattan to get a particular trailer. After searching there and being treated like a pain I got sent to JC where the man working helped me over the top! Amazing service!!! Very refreshing after being annoyed.

Uhaul hours and hours of the location are different but the staff was quick to come in when contacted. Did a great job in helping us get in and out along with a seamless return process.

The personal service was outstanding. Great staff and super friendly. That being said, gas mileage for the fuel saver truck was not as advertised. Cost over $200 in gas, 8 miles per gallon! My ford 150 would be $80 in gas for the same trip! I probably will not use service again due to the cost associated with the vehicle. Really expensive, cost over $1000 for the one-way trip. I could have hired movers for the same price.

We were told that we didn't need to unhook the driveshaft to tow our pickup with the uhaul truck, The salesman even helped us to drive our pickup on the tow bar,

The establishment stated on its website it was open, however, when we arrived it was closed. No one was there had to leave trailer on property.

Was ridiculous that we had to drive 25 minutes out of our way to pick up haul. It was move out weekend at State University and no hauls were available in Manhattan Ks. Not acceptable! poor planning on haul part! Wasn't the person at YOG fault and nothing against him he was great! I have issues with hauls and the person on the 800 number also

When picked told that if truck was returned with more gas showing on gauge than when picked up it would be given credit for extra gas. Did not see that on receipt. Was told i could drop it off at any U-haul in McKinney. Found that not to be true and had to drive to correct location.

Kim is a little rude. She kept interrupting me when I was on the phone with my father regarding the Uhaul truck. I was talking to him about the power steering hose that was leaking and the reservoir was completely empty. We had to repair it using our own finances . I rented a tow dolly for my 96 jeep Cherokee and the ratchet slipped and came off of the strap while i was driving and It caused the two front jeep tires to become unaligned, the front passenger side tire started leaking and my fuel tank started leaking.For that reason I had to switch from the tow dolly to the bigger vehicle transport trailer. Kim was suppose to stop the rent charge but it ended up charging me The full 4 day rent fee for both of the trailers. I am very disappointed and hope to be compensated accordingly for the the damaged to my vehicle, the overcharge and the hardship that was caused to me and my family.

U-Haul web-site is great and I chose a location offered on the site for my equipment several weeks before my move which was close to my home. However the day before I was to pick up they called and changed location for pick up that was 22 miles from my home as apposed to 8 miles. Their reply when I asked why did they wait until the day before to inform me was it is their call and its in the fine print. Not happy but to late to get another vendor so went to location only to find that they did not have all the equipment so had to drive 33 miles to the location I had originally picked to get the rest of my equipment. All the folks at the pick up locations were nice and apologized. Will be renting from Penske for my big move in two weeks as they guarantee location.

The trailer that was rented to me had a short in the electrical system and fried the trailer wiring in my vehicle. I had to pay $300 to get it fixed on the side of the road. The equipment should be thoroughly inspected and tested before renting it out.

Dan was so helpful. My morning did not start out well as the reservation I had reserved was somehow reversed and caused me some stress and inconvenience, he stuck with it, understood my frustration and anger with the mess up. He contacted the regional manager trying to figure out how to get things right. He did his part. However, I am disappointed in how the regional manager handled it, it was very nonchalant as if the mess up was my own fault. An apology was given but after all of the mishap and change in locations there was no discount or mention of it or anything to compensate for the reservation being messed up. Dan was AMAZING and did what he could and I didn't feel like I was being a bother. Although Dan was great, because of the way the regional manager handled it.. I probably will not use UHAUL again.

The woman I spoke with to rent my trailer was not only unaware of my reservation, she also was extremely confused and agitated with the rental site. This extended my wait time by about twenty minutes.

Thanks to Ty and Larry at YOG in Junction City for working with me to get the truck ~16 hours earlier to cover UHAUL corporate screw-ups for not getting me the truck as requested at 8am in Manhattan, KS the following day. Ty and Larry were great! I had movers coming at 10am the next day, but YOG did not open until 10am that day and I only had the movers for 2 hours, so they allowed me to pick it up the night before at YOG. I am not sure why UHAUL does not have drivers to get the trucks and all rented equipment to the one location requested by the renters instead of having the renters drive to multiple/different locations. Also, thanks to Rex's Auto for allowing me to pick up the tow dolly 16 hours earlier, even though cooperate for some reason said I could not pick it up until 12pm the following day. For this trip all these inconveniences added an extra 2+ hour delay to our move and an extra ~50 miles each for 2 vehicles. UHAUL also screwed me in Chicago for my move last year causing a 5+ hour delay (plus we had to drive 2 vehicles over 100 miles in Chicagoland area to get the UHAUL, no gas was reimbursed by UHAUL for either trip...with trucks that only get 8.5 MPG these miles add up). It will be Budget or Penske all the way next time or I will sell my stuff or burn it before it sees the back of a UHAUL truck again! Road assistance was quick though (performed by a local company, M and S service tire in IL, service orchestrated by UHAUL), the tow dolly had a slow leak, thankfully we noticed it when we had dinner and the tire did not shred and cause an accident on the interstate!
