The staff member that assisted me at the New Design location was very friendly, patient, and accommodating. I was in a situation where things kept going wrong and she helped me figure everything out, explained my options well and didn't get frustrated when I changed my mind a couple times. It's the first time in a long time I felt like I had very helpful and friendly customer service.

JEAN A.I told the lady I rented it from that I would be returning the truck to a specific location in Hagerstown. My contract did not show that location and the website wanted me to drive the truck to Frederick when I was already at the return location that I specified. I spent 45 minutes on hold sitting in the parking lot and nobody ever answered the phone. Finally while I was still on hold I used the live text chat feature to speak to someone and she told me that location was full and not accepting returns and I had to drive another 15 minutes into Hagerstown to return the truck to another location. Absolutely terrible communication and customer service. For the amount of money we paid I would not have expected that much difficulty just to return a truck.
michael S.The layout means that some of the equipment is in awkward places, but not much you can do about that. Plus, the Google Maps directions to the street address take you to the wrong place. I only found it when I saw the Google Map icon for Your Space Storage.

David R.Val Sipes provided some of the best customer services I have been on the receiving end of in months. After a long day (and early morning) of moving, I admittedly was not in a good mood. Val was very professional and helpful, and sent me on my way smiling. Y'all got good one in Val.
Robert W.The owner of the location pointed out what she called "new damage" to the front left part of the bumper. When I inspected it there was already a sticker there to indicate that there was a claim filed for it. But she insisted that one area on the bumper did have new damage. To me it looked like it was all from the same incident. I think she should have looked at her records to see what the damage associated with that previous claim was before calling anything "new damage". This seems like trying to file the same accident under two insurance claims. I know I did not hit anything.
adam S.I was not informed about the tow light, even though I asked if it was okay for it to be on. This impacted my gas mileage, my ability to accelerate on the highway, and my safety. The rep who I asked was dismissive and would not come and look at the light. I was told to check in after hours, however the system kicked me off with an internal error. So I had to return the next morning to ensure it was checked in. The rep who was there was lovely, however she stated that the internal error and check in difficulty was a known issue. If that was the case, why wasn't I informed the previous day when I checked out the truck for 5 hrs.

It took approx 2 hours out of our day to go to Frederick and back, 2 hours we could have used packing. So the change in pick up location wasn't great. However, Valerie was wonderful, answering all our questions and so empathetic to our move. A perfect example of how one genuine, caring person can turn around an otherwise crappy situation. Pay these good people well. They are priceless.
