Sent me to a counter in a sketchy convenience store in shitty neighborhood told to just drop it Guy never came out never gave me anything then the calls started threatening to charge me for the trailer that “ wasn’t returned” terrible lack of service don’t go there!

I request a reservation to drop the rental trailer in McKinney. The UHaul Supplier agents without notice changed my drop off to Dallas, causing me to drive back and forth to still enjoy a planned dinner with my family.
DYLAN AThe trailer was dirty…like out items got visibly dirty. I hadn’t made an advanced reservation and was required to provide emergency contacts etc several times.

Lawrence PThe workers at this location were not on the facilities on 3 occasions when I visited. I had to call a number on their door to get someone to come and provide service. There was also a lock left on the U-Haul that seemed to be left for my use, there was also a lock key on the U-Haul truck key. This lock did not work with the provided key. I had to go to Home Depot to have them cut off the lock as the people at this location said there was nothing they could do. This made me late for a pickup appointment in which I incurred fees. Also U-Haul has charged me 4 times for this service when I should only be charged once. This has been a TERRIBLE experience and I will never rent from U-Haul again. Very poor!!

LAWRENCE PIt was the closest drop of location to my area that was available. The location wasn't appealing or inviting but the person who answered very helpful and explained where the drop box is located for the keys and where to bring the truck. It was kind of confusion because the truck drop off is actually behind the building.
Shareka MPickup was super easy & convenient but the gentleman there gave me the incorrect return instructions. It has all been resolved & U-Haul took care of everything. Thanks to Orion with customer service for helping me out. Orion & Helen were phenomenal!!!!! They were both very helpful & understanding to the situation. Appreciative of them.
MIRIAM MNothing, just make sure that the cargo door can close all the way. Other than that, the location was great, the guy was really sweet and welcoming.

STEPHEN CI didn't take insurance for $25, I ordered a car without insurance. Your employee added this when he gave it out without asking me, I ask you to return me $25 and the tax paid by me. Or make my next order for free

GREGORY MI was good charged for pre-existing miles. It was penalized for gas that was already missing. This location is a poor rundown location that has a counterfeit storefront. Just to rent evolve trucks. It needs to be closed down.It is very shady

LANE MI found tons of trash in the vehicle that I documented upon pick up... in addition.. I was not informed in advance that I would be tracked through an Apple AirTag.. It was only after completing my transportation of a piece of furniture from pick up to drop off at my home that Apple notified me of an unfamiliar tag.

Jasmine GUnfortunately we did not have a good experience with this Uhual location. I made a reservation to pick up the truck at 7am, which was confirmed by the uhual representative that called the day prior to the pick up date. When I arrived to the location at 7am no one was present, I called the number provided and the individual stated that my reservation was changed to 8am and that no one would be there till then. Though an inconvenience I waited till 8a, the time I was told someone would be there to help me, 8 comes around still not sight of an employee. I call back the number a few mins later and was told that the employee would be there in 2 minutes. About 5 mins pass I call the number back and the individual on the phone, who at this point was upset that I was upset that no one had arrived yet, began stating that he could cancel the dispatch if I had a problem. Obviously canceling was not an option since I needed the truck and especially after at this point waiting an hour and a half after the initial time I had reserved for. Someone finally shows up at nearly 8:30 and hands me keys to a truck that ultimately does not start, I wait some more time for another truck to be provided at this point is is nearly 9 am when I receive the truck and go on my way. After many years of utilizing igual I have never had such a terrible and unprofessional experience.

Adrian PI feel like I'm being charged a hefty wrong drop off fee when the uhaul the truck got dropped off was on the literal other side of a building. It was an easy mistake on the part of my authorized driver. I'm extra confused because the signage isn't the clearest, it was dark, and I returned the truck with more fuel than what it started at. When I first got the truck I walked around the neighborhood for ten minutes with my suitcases in hand trying to locate it. There are trucks on various streets in the neighborhood. It was an honest mistake, but hopefully one that didn't incur a lot of effort on the uhual employees time considering the truck was less than a block away. I can't be the first person to make this mistake in this neighborhood considering there are three different uhual joints within a minute of a walk.

Laura MI was pleased with how easy drop off was. There was not a representative there but a phone number no the front door. The representative was responsive and helpful. The only concern I had/have was not having proof that I dropped it off other than a picture I took.

LUIS RFirst of all I did not like the area were is located. And doing everything online is too complicated. is much better where you can go and a live person can help you.
Jose SI would say that the location was very easy to hook up the trailer. The attendant was great. He helped us hook up the trailer quickly and we were in and out very fast. The trailer had been swept put and clean inside. There were a few dings on the trailer itself, but nothing that was worrisome. The "traffic" department texted AND called to re-direct me to another location since the one that I had picked online didn't have a trailer. They did so in ADVANCE of me picking up the trailer and all issues were worked out prior to the date of PU.

Sam HThey charged me for 2 days while I needed it for just 1 day and returned the trailer around the time I picked it up and just 28min late. Seriously you would charge for 2 days just for less than half an hour late!! They also charged me for Safe Tow which I never ever include with my uhaul rent. I talked to the owner of that location multiple times , he was just blaming uhaul system for that and he has nothing to do with it. The owner of that location has no ethics and knows very well how to rip off customer’s pocket. No wonder why they have all these bad reviews. I wish I would check their reviews before booking them.

Christopher Rmy left brake light was not working and they didnt want to fix it , i’d recommend sending a uhaul representive down there to straighten them people out, couldve had my load rear ended or got pulled over and gotten a ticket Thank God it didnt happen but it could happen to someone in the future
Marcus MWhen making the reservation, I chose "in person" for the pick up (vs. using the app, or online), but once there to pick up, I was still asked to use the UHaul website for checking in, etc. Also, I had reserved a dolly and had assumed it would be in the truck already, but it was not and I did not discover this until beginning to load up the truck (half hour after leaving the Uhaul location). I had to send someone to make an extra trip back to Uhaul location to get the dolly.
Kenneth KOnce again, this WAS NOT the drop off location that I had selected. The location of this drop off point was unsafe. It was not well lit and there wasn't clear instructions stating where to park the 20 ft U Haul. the parking lot was small and difficult.
