The "location" was useless. The clerk was 100% involved in operating the gas station and any U-Haul issue was not in his wheelhouse. He quickly passed me the card of the (U-Haul) Area Field Manager and said, "talk to him". All the transactional processes were done on the phone (getting lock codes and the drop-off box instructions) The only value the location had was the parking spot where the truck was. If there was a mechanical problem with my truck (the only one there at the time) my planned out day would have been a disaster.

The truck had broken glass and trash inside when I picked it up. I also requested an appliance dolly and was guaranteed that it would be with the truck. It was not. I then had to wait 2 hours for one to be available but had to travel to the other side of town, which put my move time off by at least 45 minutes. When I checked my receipt, I noticed that I was charged for SafeMove but I had declined it when I reserved the truck.
