Please do not force me go through all the pages of options of selecting moving supplies, moving help, etc when renting a trailer. I could not directly rent from the UHaul location; instead I had to stand there for 20 min on the computer.

Great service and excellent customer service from the staff

Did not have all the items I had prepaid to have. They were helpful to substitute trailers and send me on my way even with the computer system at U-Haul being down that morning.

Customer service was terrible. Had to help Julio hook up my trailer as he was trying to force into the ball. When I dropped off he was only person there with all bays full of cars and he had a very bad attitude. I will never pick up here again!

set up and received a confirmation for a corporate uhaul store with hitch sales capability. When I arrived at the San Mateo store I was greeted by a arrogant man behind the desk. Keeps calling me "boss" Says I screwed up and went to the wrong location and then told me to get my gps out and read off a address. The Quick lube location does not sell hitch balls. So I had to buy the hitch at Sam Mateo (they guy who helped with that was good). At Wyoming location they had no clue how to hook up the trailer. No clue. And did not have my reservation when I arrived. While standing there my reservation popped up. Gee you think my reservation was at San Mateo. As the car I was towing was at Sam Mateo I limped the trailer (very poorly connected) to San Mateo. At that point all was good with the two guys that helped me re-attach the trailer and load my car. They were great. One seemed like a manager. Between not notifying me about the change in location and the pure arrogant rudeness of the guy at San Mateo and the poor service and knowledge at Wyoming I am not likely to use UHaul again if I have any choice. Trailer was great.

I rented my uhaul trailer from this location and during my one way trip I misplaced my paperwork. I called this location to try to find out the location where I was supposed to drop off my truck and whoever answered the phone couldn’t be bothered looking up the information for me. I wouldn’t rent anything from this location again.

I returned the trailer the same day I rented it. Was about 4:40 PM. Why am I being billed an additional day?

I had a horrible experience with the shell location, as well as the San Mateo location. A.J. at San Mateo, was sarcastic and assumed all U hauls open at 7:00 am. Hulio at shell location would not let me pick up truck at 7 am, like I scheduled on my reservation, so I had to pay movers extra. He said they open at 8:30 am, and forgot my 24 pads.

The people there were very nice but uhaul needs better communication skills. Your email to us said we could get the truck at 8:30 but you didn’t tell the people there that. We got there and no one was available, there were no blankets available, and the gas tank was at 1/2 instead of full which makes is much harder.
