This is for the Plains Rd location in Aldershot.. I booked a 5x8 trailer a few days ago for Saturday to move my son home from University. Upon arrival, all was good. When we hooked up the trailer it was discovered that the wire for the right signal and brake signals was broken (not cut but frayed through) and not working. I was informed that the trailer had just returned from service Friday and they could not switch for the other trailer as it was reserved for later that day. I asked about taking the 10’ van and the manager, on the phone, said they could not comp the mileage and I would need to figure something out. The woman at the desk was good in helping locate something. Anything for me to get going. Another trailer was located 15 mins away so I was told I had to then drive to this location and pick up the trailer from there. All in total, it was just under 90 mins for me to sort all of this out all because whom ever serviced the trailer did not do a good enough inspection of the condition of the trailer and then had it delivered, on the road, to a location without doing any sort of circle check of the unit to confirm the lights all worked. I am disappointed in this level of service from UHaul. The people at the next location were also great and I have no issue with their service.
