the trailer was in very poor condition and it turned out that the hooking mechanism did not work correctly due to being rusted. the trailer disconnected from our car and hit the back of our car causing damage. The person who signed us in to pick up the trailer did not check the trailer or assist us in any way (if she had it may have allowed her to have noted this problem}. She pointed at the trailer across the parking lot and left us on our own to connect and figure it out because she had another person renting a truck.
