While the location wasn’t open and the truck was clean upon entry, the truck had none of my dollys or blankets in it and the battery was completely dead. Considering this was picked up prior to opening hours, this was heavily disappointing as I was left to my own devices. Thankfully I was able to connect to the 24/7 number and the people working got me quickly connected to Kevin Erlewein, the Area Field Manager. He gave me another location fairly close by that the exact same truck that I needed and even gave me his personal cell phone number so we could stay in touch. I was also able to get 2 of the dollys I had ordered. He then contacted another location in Boerne that was thankfully open that had the number of blankets and an additional dolly I had ordered. Kevin is a saint and should be compensated appropriately for his actions. He then refunded me half of the cost, added additional mileage and another full day of rental free of charge. Before I was put in touch with the contacts on the main line and Kevin, this was handled very unprofessionally as I felt I was going to be stranded without anything I had ordered. However, Kevin and his team made up for it ten fold.
