How U-Haul Reviews WorkThe truck was in very poor condition. There was a very loud exhaust leak underneath the cab, and several things inside the truck were broken, including the interior light and the mirror. The exterior was also in poor shape. The driver’s side had visible damage from what appeared to be a previous sideswipe before I rented the truck. Additionally, the air conditioning was unreliable and would intermittently stop blowing air. Overall, the truck was in much worse condition than I expected. I was particularly surprised because I have rented U-Haul trucks, vans, and trailers many times over the years and have generally had good experiences. I expected the truck to be in much better condition.
