I wanted to arrange for counter pick-up and deal with a person. I could not get to the point on the app or online to be able to register properly because something had to be overwritten on the end of customer service. We reserved the moving vehicle for 9:30am which was the opening time on the Uhaul dealer information. We arrive and the business is completely locked up and no one was present. We left and came back half an hour later which is when Google said they were open and still no one there. Called Uhaul for customer service support and they were very helpful and got us the vehicle keys by walking us through the reservation a second time. The vehicle was cold, the windows encased in frost and ice. This also slowed us down and set us back far enough that we were unable to make the window we had booked with someone to give us help to remove a 3 seater couch from a very tight basement suite. Any time I have ever rented a vehicle in the past it is clean, warmed up and frost/snow free and fully gassed up. Thankfully we were not moving a long distance because it was only half full. All in all a disappointing experience except for the lady who helped us over the phone from Uhaul customer service. So we had zero interaction whatsoever with the building owner or their staff. Basically just a rented parking spot from this business.

CAYLEY BU haul made me drive across the city to this place that looked like a junk yard when I put my request in two months ago and have a uhaul store right next to my house. They didn’t have the blankets I asked for nor did he want to provide them but found me 10 from out back. They weren’t in the best shape. Again I planned for this move 2 months ahead. We needed the blanket. They didn’t have any locks to buy. He wasn’t there when I got there. Uhaul once again. Made me go somewhere that wasn’t open til 1000 when I wanted it for 0900 and then had to wait longer. I filled the form in online including my extra drivers yet I had to do it all again in person taking time away from my move and being late for those helping me back at home. The truck was parked in a big mud puddle and the man there didn’t help us he went and locked himself back in the building despite us having more questions he wouldn’t answer the door. The truck was fine for the drive but uhaul left us on our own to figure stuff out and go to a very shoddy place to pick it up. I won’t be using your product next time I move. I will work with a local company. Hard to believe for the price. Also I changed a few things as it relates where to drop off and length of time I needed it and the price went up 700 with small changes especially the drop off point.
