The customer service was great, and although the 15 foot truck we were given for a 2100+ mile trip was clean, the vehicle had over 100,000 miles on it and was very uncomfortable. The door seal on the passenger side was not good, and there was constant wind noise throughout the trip, which was annoying. Of course, this wasn't evident to us until we'd pulled out, fully loaded and were on our way, doing highway speeds. No going back at that point, so we just suffered through. There was no cruise control and the transmission kept sticking when going downhill. We worried that it wouldn't downshift. Especially towards end of trip. Very disappointing. Also, there weren't any sort of digital inputs. Would have been nice to be able to hook up USB, but the only input was archaic, 1/4 in jack. Who uses those anymore? For a long-haul trip like this, and for the money we paid, UHaul should have given us a newer vehicle. At least a vehicle in better shape. We're EXTREMELY disappointed with the truck we were given (motorcycle trailer was fine). We made it to our destination, but it was a very uncomfortable trip. UHaul should do better for folks doing a long-distance drive.
